Hi everyone! Nice to meet you. heartI go by Chestnut online, and I'm a chronically-ill homebody who dabbles in various creative pursuits. I'm a university graduate, and I studied linguistics. I've been learning Japanese for many years now, but have branched out to start pursuing other languages - though am not yet conversationally fluent.
I really enjoy the summer and fall anime releases, so I try to keep up with those. I've been rewatching old series I once loved, and adding new ones into the mix! I'm a storyteller at heart, so I reflect that in the things I write for fun as well as in my formal pursuits.
What drew me to Gaia in the first place is the old-style anime aesthetics mixed with the new, and how many references to various shows you can find within it.
I advocate for chronic illness and disability awareness whenever I can, and I'm passionate about all of my interests! I'm happy to have mutual discussions on any of our shared interests, too. Shows and animes that approach these topics, too, have my whole heart.
