Her skin is slightly tanned with no obvious scarring. She normally is seen wearing either a simple white dress, mostly around Pluto and the Time Gate, or a set of baggy jeans and t-shirt for when she is on Earth. She doesn't use make-up like most of the other women she knows, respecting herself enough to rely on natural beauty alone.
Personality: Lorelai is a very intelligent and loyal woman, although it doesn’t always come across that way. She holds a high respect for her superiors, but chooses not to show it often. She doesn’t like to be protected and tries her very best to prove that she can look after herself, feeling like she is just a shadow to her parents because of it. She is quiet, although not shy and would rather sit back and take in a situation before she interfered or gave her own opinion on the matters at hand. She is proud to be who she is and finds it hard to express how she feels on a lot of issues, sometimes being mistaken as naive because of it. She often obsesses over the fact she is “cursed” to be a Time Gate Guardian for all eternity. Lorelai quite frequently claims that she is incapable of love due to her duty and destiny to follow in her mother's footsteps, or that it is simply the Plutonian curse. However, it is quite clear she is very capable of such a feeling as she has a hard time seeing people close together and avoids observing it, because she does not believe she will ever have it.
History: Lorelai was born through the bond between Setsuna Meio and Kisho "Scythe" Kage around a year after they got together. For a while, there was nothing but love and joy between the three as time passed and the princess grew. Having been no older than two years of age, the young Kage was left simply with one parent, an event that greatly affected how she was to grow up in the future. Setsuna looked after her daughter for another two years before it became too much to focus on both her duty and being a mother. Because of this, Lorelai was sent back to Charon Castle to be under the protection of her grandfather, Chronus, the god of time himself.
Whilst her main residence was now on Pluto, she was often allowed to visit her mother on the more special of occassions or as a treat for being a good girl. It was not easy to grow up without her mother or father, but she made the best of what she had. With nothing but time to kill, Lorelai became a hard-working student in every subject she chose to study, all save one. She absolutely hated, and still does to this day, being taught and treated like a princess. Despite respecting her elders, she dislikes titles and rules very much, but has little choice but to follow. When Chronus started to teach her of her family history was the time she started to drift away and become rebellious at the young age of five.
Knowing nothing of the Kage side of her family, she often wondered if they even knew of her existence and if she would ever get a chance to meet any of them. Lorelai was unfortunately for the most part, a well guarded secret except to those that Setsuna trusted enough to let know. The last thing any realm needed was the Keeper of Time being forced to meddle with things at the risk of not only her own life, but that of her daughter's. Of course, Lorelai saw this as only an excuse to act out even more as she was hidden away from the world. Plunging deeper into her studies, she chose a broad spectrum of subjects up until her coming of age, many of which made her the woman she is today.
Lorelai took classes in Art (Painting, Calligraphy and Photography), Languages (Japanese and English), History (Modern and Ancient), Self Defence (Karate, Judo and Kendo), Music (Modern) and Cooking over the years up until her choice to leave for the Time Gate Realm. As intelligent as she was, she never got to finish what the Earthlings would call a High School Education. She also refused to take any instruction on how to be a proper lady, finding that to do so would demean herself and make her weaker.
Classes ended around the time of her thirteenth birthday, when she came of age. It was when she was given the choice to stay at Charon Castle or return to her mother and begin her training as the next Keeper of Time, although it was evident that up until that point she had never been able to access any of the powers hidden in the Meio blood. On her birthday, a festival was thrown, although Pluto knew not the true purpose of this festival and never would until Lorelai had been properly trained to be able to protect herself. One week of festivities and no work was held, with the teenage girl's birthday on the last day of it. Chronus presented his grand-daughter with a key on a necklace.
This key was an heirloom to the royal blood line of Pluto, the Meio family and held within it great powers. It was not given to Setsuna simply because the woman was more powerful than even her mother, Tsukimono, and had no need of it as the Keeper of Time. Through this pendant, Lorelai was finally able to access some of the powers that her Kage blood withheld from her and Chronus set to train her before her decision was made. By the time she was almost fourteen, she was ready to choose. Lorelai went to live with her mother in the Time Gate Realm and took on the role as an apprentice Keeper of Time.
To keep her sanity from having a life filled with people all around her, the Plutonian princess kept up with her studies and often sought to gaze upon Earth and its happenings. Unlike her mother, she was not able to simply know what was going on and was forced to figure out how to open a mirror portal of sorts to watch events not only as they occured, but also in the past to the very day she was born. Through this, she was able to see that her father did indeed once upon a time care for her and what he looked like, but to see the despair on her mother's face when he simply disappeared. Lorelai never asked what happened to Scythe and it was a period of time that she could not access no matter how many times she tried.
The only people that Lorelai got to meet in the six years that she was stationed at the gate to learn were those that could access the Time Gate Realm without either Setsuna or herself. Some of these people included the Imperial Knights, though she did her best to remain hidden or silent during their presence in the realm. Through the loneliness being in that realm caused, Lorelai began to long to go to Earth more and more to mingle amongst its people, even though it was not safe for her to do so. It was this longing that turned her into the brat she was just before arriving at Earth and having a life changing experience.
During her eighteenth year, a few months before her life was to change dramatically, Lorelai spent many weeks painting to pass the time. Two of these such paintings are hung up in her penthouse apartment on Earth, the only two paintings that she has ever truly been proud of. Though no one else has seen them, she admits to herself that they are reflections of her soul and how she sees life. That love exists for everyone, even if she does not think she will ever find it. After finishing these was when the war hit an all time peak, in which Lorelai finally plucked up the courage to take a visit to Tokyo, just as her father was. Her mother followed soon after to return her daughter back to safety.
In this time, Lorelai mouthed off at Mitsukai and ran after her father instead of following orders to go home. Setsuna, knowing that she would be safe with Scythe, left her to him albeit hesitantly. The Princess got through to her father that day and returned him to the man he once was when Lorelai was just a baby. And then he was gone again. Unsure of what to do, the Plutonian made her way to Mitsukai to plead for her father's life and first met Kenshi there. Angel left her there with Kenshi, as he was ordered to protect her. Eventually, Kenshi brought Lorelai to safety with Salves, the brat disappearing inside of her as she gave her thanks to the male Knight. Salves had become an idol of who she wanted to be. Strong and dependable.
If only she knew better. After that, Scythe returned for her and Kenshi stepped in to stop him from taking her. A fight broke out between the two and it was not until Lorelai threatened her own life that the both of them were forced to back down. Kenshi could not allow her to be harmed under his directive and Scythe would not being that she was his daughter. It was the quickest way to end the fight that she could think of, even if it was a coward's way to solve it. She joined her father after that and went back with her mother, spending what little time the two had together as the war was far from over.
Having had a taste of freedom on Earth, Lorelai began to go back and forth over the next few months to see the things that she had missed out on all this time, things that her mother had also got to experience for a small period of time. Once she was certain this was what she wanted to do, she requested to be allowed to reside on Earth, though promised that it would not interfere with her duties with her mother. Kenshi was once again ordered to protect the princess during this time, many fights breaking out between the two of them as they often clashed. Over time, Lorelai began to change and mature, showing that she was becoming more of a woman than a girl. This was all due to Kenshi and her time around him, making her see the truth of life and that she was never truly alone and would not be if she wished not to be.
She now works at Tokyo Cafe part time as a waitress and is the manager at Crystal Tokyo Mall, a job that Kenshi gave to her personally. She fits this in with her Gate post duties as well as hanging out with friends she has acquired in her time in Tokyo. She lives not too far from Tokyo Square in a penthouse apartment that has two floors. On the first floor is the library, kitchen and bedroom. On the second, there the living area, bar, bathroom and outdoor balcony setting for parties. Although it is much too big for one person, she finds it preferable to the void that was the Time Gate Realm.
Recent Events: After months spent in Tokyo under the protection of Kenshi, he proposed to Lorelai a couple of weeks after going to Setsuna for permission. Lorelai happily accepted the proposal and now the two are engaged to marry.
