RP Notes and Rules,

Romance, female x female is what I prefer, heterosexual is alright, and male x male is something that I might need to be convinced to do. Note though, that I will not do a roleplay that is based entirely on romance, there has to be something else going on. I’m not that interested in a pre-existing relationship, or love at first sight, though I might accept lust at first sight. Right now I have almost no interest in romance.

Character preferences, I like to play female characters, and I like to play more then one character at a time. My characters tend to be bisexual, both the men and the women. It isn’t hard to get me to play a male, however it is hard to get me to play only one character, with that one being male. My characters tend to be along the lines of “Jack of all trades”, but I like to think that I balance them well. Lastly, my characters tend to be rather independent, cynical, or just anti-social, that isn’t always the case but often it is.

I don’t think that a plot is needed to have fun. However typically I like to know something about the RP before the start. So even if we don’t use a plot, I would like to know some things, like what characters will you be playing, bits of information about the setting, that sort of thing. Of course I do like plots as well.

As far as Literacy, I tend to post between two to eight paragraphs, though I can go above if I’m interested enough, and so inclined. I run everything through spellcheck, and tend to do well with my grammar, but I’m not perfect thus mistakes will get through. Now, I would like for you to be fairly similar as far as what you post, but its not like I require you to match my posts.

How often I reply and when I’m on. My timezone is GMT -7, and I’m on most of the night, almost every night. I like to take my time posting, so even if I’m on I might not reply for a little while, or I might reply as soon as it takes me to write something.

Powerplaying, and godmodding. I might shoot you for godmodding, but I can be lenient if what you are doing is just to help move things along. As for powerplaying, I can understand wanting to be powerful, but try to be realistic about it.

Limits, tell me about yours, I don’t want to upset you. As for mine, I don’t have much, mostly I just find certain things boring.

Things I won’t do, or just hate.

Furry, I’m even against werewolves, and those catgirl type things. Seriously, cat ears and a tail, are not cute, unless they are attached, to a cat. That isn’t to say I won’t do werewolves, just that it takes a lot of convincing.

Pure smut or cybering, I’m against pure romance, reducing that down to just sex is even worse.

Angst filled crap, or emo crap. I like to feel good and think about feeling good, why they hell anyone likes angst is beyond me.

Historical settings, just doesn’t interest me.


How I want to rp. I like PMs, but I’d be ok with a private thread, though they feel like someone is watching, which makes my spine crawl. I’ll do email, but I’m sort of forgetful when it comes to email. As for messengers, I guess I might be willing to do AIM or MSN, or maybe a private chat room, but I would rather not use a messenger.



Rp list,

Medieval Fantasy,
I’m up for pretty much anything, except for placing it in a historical setting. I have a few plots, actually I have a bunch of plots. So many in fact that if you want to use one of my plots you will need to be kind of specific as to what you want, so that I can narrow it down.
Edit: I lost a lot last time I changed computers, so the selectional here has gone down, and I may have to remake things from memory.

Post Apocalyptic,
Zombies, ok, I even have a non-cliche plot, well mostly non-cliche.
I have a few where weird s**t happened, world ended, like physics abruptly changed and things are now fairly different. I have a few other plots, but I would probably be iffy if you pitched something to me.
Other, really depends, I can get real picky when it comes to Science fiction.

Steampunk,
I’m not too picky here either, however I’m against taking a historical setting and just using steam to change it around. I don’t really have any plots for steampunk, though I do have some plots that include steampunk as an element to them.
Edit: I have some ideas right now but I haven't written anything up.

Biopunk,
Basically all I want is for things to be kept at least sort of realistic, though still I’m kind of iffy on biopunk as a whole.
Edit: I am currently working on a story where there is a lot of genetic manipulation that has happened, and I would like to do something biopunk to help me think about the things in that story.

Cyberpunk,
I like cyberpunk in general, but as with all Science fiction I’m picky about it. Though generally speaking I’m less picky about cyberpunk things. I have a few plots, but I’m not entirely happy with them, they all feel sort of empty. So I would like to flesh them out a little, or take ideas from them and apply them to something else.

Futuristic Sci-fi,
I’m picky, mostly about how things work. Sure you can come up with some kind of entirely new technology that breaks the laws of physics, just have some form of reasoning for it. Some coherency is required, if it isn’t there, it will irk me. Just about all settings and plots would be fine with me, I just don’t want the tech to irk me. I have a few plots here, not so many as I have for others, but if you want to use one of them, it would be helpful if you could narrow down what you want.

Modern,
Generally I’m against it, in fact it would take something spectacularly incredible to get me to do a plain modern setting. However Modern Fantasy I am more likely to consider, and I might be up for a superhero RP. I have a few modern fantasy plots.

Ok, I know that isn’t really everything, but I think it’s a good overview. If there is something you feel I skipped you can ask, I won’t mind and won’t think less of you for asking. I’m willing to combine things, like a futuristic Sci fi, with fantasy elements, and the like.


Fandom, I’m not that interested in them. I used to have a list of them here, but I'm not interested in keeping an updated list, so I'm not going to bother making one in the first place.
