*In an instant thousands of irreplaceable artifacts where reduced to little more than dust. Not to mention the ancient Do Jo itself that Geese had transported to Southtown from Japan. Luckily Billy, Hopper, and Ripper got away in time to escape the blast safely*
*Geese's last quip to Rugal struck a cord in Marie, leading her to shoot a sharp glare at him. She turns on her heel to return to the doorway of the room, firstly offering a bow to Rugal and his son.* ...Thank you for everything, Rugal. You are my saviour. I owe my life to you.
Please don't worry. I will work out an arrangement with the twins that will be kind to you.
*One more time she hurries over to the Bernstein father, leaning up on tiptoes to kiss his cheek; then it's back to Geese, hurrying out ahead of he and Billy for the dojo's exit.*
She listened quietly to Billy speak as they entered the room inside the dojo. Not Geese's fault? Marie was stunned at this. Despite the offer to make herself comfortable, she remained standing, waiting for Geese to show up.
She didn't look at Billy. She couldn't possibly, after what he'd just done. Nor did she utter a word to Geese's right-hand man; oh, but Marie was furious, beyond any measures she'd been previously, and it would reflect in those crimson eyes of hers.
Her silence wasn't apathy; it was that she was saving every last bit of her emotion to unleash upon the man responsible for this: Geese Howard.
A mental prayer was offered to everyone who'd been displaced after the explosion, K' included, and to Rugal since he was the literal owner of the destroyed mansion. She also prayed that Rugal would forgive her for causing such trouble for him; after all, if they'd not met, she'd still be with Geese, and the events of now wouldn't be transpiring.
K` watched in awe as the smouldering remains of his girlfriends' home, his surrogate aunts home, the beasts' , and Rugals home lay on the ground. "... C'mon Rodem, lets get you to the Black Noah." He said and sighed, taking Rodem's collar in hand as he searched for something. A home being destroyed was a big thing for him... Because it would take alot of time for him to call a place his home.
First Billy's arrival, the Kdash's. It was a wonder, with everything that was going on at once, Marie was still sane. But she held tight, protectively, to her two children, as she gazed with surprising passiveness to the scene of Billy against Rodem. And then, a soft frown.
"Rodem. Leave him alone."
The German woman kissed each twin on the forehead, then stepped forward to Geese's right-hand man; praying the black beast would listen to her command and back off.
"Everything is fine," This part was spoken to K', of course. "Billy... Yes. Let's go. Take me to Geese."
