I have had a startling glimpse into a portal back to the mind of my high school self and it is horrifying....Just kidding, it wasn't that terrible. It was, however, inaccurate enough with regard to my current self that hey! New profile rewrite! C:
- Formerly known as Transliteration. I may or may not remember to answer to it. I do answer to "azelliese", "azel", "azu", "avalon", and any version of the previously mentioned in which the first letter is capitalised!
- 2009 was a long time ago. (Okay, it was only four years ago. Still. That's kind of a long time.)
- I'm in my third year of an AA (...what) in English. A mentor-type figure recently advised me to be sure I was doing it because it was my dream and not someone else's. I told him that I wouldn't take such a useless major if it were someone else's.
- Someday I may attend UCD or CSUEB. That day is not today. It is not tomorrow, either.
- I read, write, and draw things. Sometimes I fail at programming. Occasionally I fail at the other things, too. (Except for reading. It's pretty hard to fail at reading. ...Although that doesn't mean I haven't done it before.)
- I still fancy myself a bit of a healer-type and white mages are still better tanks than black mages. I am still probably not best served by any kind of magic (especially healing). If I had a Persona, however, I would most definitely be the Mission Control character, and I would do my very best to be as useful as Rise in P4G. (Rise is ridiculously broken in P4G.)
- I am an amateur D&D player and a potential aspiring DM. There are 7-8 people in my gaming group and this makes sessions exactly as ridiculous as you think. I have a level 2 cleric whose greatest feat was throwing her mace at a spider on the roof of a cave and critting for maximum damage (and yet somehow not actually killing it), and a level 3 earthbender whose claim to fame is never having to roll for bending/listen/spot checks because +12 skill modifiers.
- I love cats. No, really. There exist no modifiers to accurately portray in text my love for cats. Anders in Dragon Age: Origins: Awakening? He is me. That is how much I love cats. (Example 2: You know those high-pitched squealing noises anime fangirls make sometimes? The ones that are accompanied by really stupid grinning expressions? That is me around cats. All cats. Any cat. Even the cat I've lived with for the last fourteen years.)
