And in this drought of truth and invention, whooever shouts the loudest gets the most attention, so we pass the mic and they've got nothing to say except:

Hey there, I'm McKayla. First of all, I'm straight and I'm a girl, just so you know.(: I'm your average teenage Christian girl, only with an odd obsession with British comedy (namely The Mighty Boosh) and an aspiration to become an author. My interests include music, writing, reading, psychology, comedy, and boys (hey, I'm a teenage girl, you can't blame me). My favorite comedian is Demetri Martin because of his intelligence and bizarre sense of humor, I also find it intriguing how he merges music and comedy, as well as the large number of what he calls 'useless talents' that he has. My all time favorite person ever at the moment is Owen Pallett, he's an incredible violinist and singer, I adore all of his music and aspire to be as talented as him someday. Art by Yoshitaka Amano is always lovely by the way. <3 Musically my tastes vary, I enjoy a bit of Gary Numan, Of Montreal is surreal and the lead singer Kevin Barnes is a theatrical genius (if not rather bizarre in his stage antics). The Headstones are an old band that is no longer together, but amazing nonetheless. And to my embarrassment, despite their somewhat psychotic fans, I have to admit I've loved My Chemical Romance since I was in the fourth grade. As for older bands that I enjoy, there's Joy Division, the Buzzcocks, The Sex Pistols, and of course, The Beatles. Owen Pallett is an incredible violinist and he's the main reason for why I plan on taking up the violin. My biggest inspiration aside from people I directly know and religious figures is Chuck Palahniuk, I enjoy his writing, namely Fight Club. His short story Guts is chilling and disgusting, but I adore his work to no end. <3 So, that's a little bit about me, McKayla, I like to think I'm pretty friendly. No, I'm going to be living with my mother until I'm old enough to say that she's living with me xp And screw saving up for my own car, I'll probably beg my parents to buy me some pink Mini Cooper and then get my way when I graduate. mrgreen

I'm scared shitless of growing up. Hell, I've fallen into a second infancy, always hugging my mom or telling my grandparents I love them every five minutes. Guh. I wish I was a vampire or something so that I could stay this young forever and never have to worry about jobs or taxes or whatnot. GUUUUUUUUUH gonk

Ew, don't work at a fastfood place. Work at Effie Yeaw, like meee~ I'm gonna be signing up there, but they admitted the pay isn't very good. And if you HAVE to do fast food, work at Starbucks. And come on, you're only a freshman. Have some fun before you think about college. xp
