My name is Rae, and I was once a wanna-be emo loser. I quickly wised up and grew up. I admit, I am still spoiled and selfish, but what American born teenager isn't?I have short dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, and I'm far from skinny. I don't like my body, and I deal with this fact. I know that unless I starve myself and work out for hours on end every day, I will never have the perfect body. That's how my metabolism work.
I'm an artist, and no, I don't draw anime or manga or chibi or whatever. I draw my own style, and I am happy with my own style. I draw in my own style, and only draw in manga style as practice. I also draw in a lot of other styles as practice too. Because of this, I have the ability to copy styles fairly well. Not pefectly, but well enough.
My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre
My favorite authors are Chris Wooding, Tonya Hurley, and Lewis Carroll
I'm a mild Treky. I love Star Trek. But I am NOT uber obsesed.
My first ever comic I bought was ShutterBox and will always be one of my favorites
I adore reading and making comics, and plan to send my comics in to syndicates to get published in News Papers as a starting point in my comic career.
I also plan, as a source of steady pay, to hopefully work for Scholastic as an illustrator for their childrens books.
I love getting messages from people wanting to get to know me and be my friend, so don't be shy! I will warn you though, I may come off as cold at first if I've had a bad day.
