The King Returns
Queen Enid walked slowly through her garden. Everything was frozen, everything was dead, even she was sick. Ever since the king had disappeared the land had started to die. Queen Enid would die soon as well and then the great kingdom she had helped build would disappear forever, unknown to the rest of the world. Queen Enid sat on a bench, a tear rolled down her face. It's over, she thought to herself.
"Hello?" The queen looked up. Someone's here? Someone's alive? The queen saw a person move from behind a tree. The queen gasped.
"Umar," she whispered. The king had returned. Slowly, Queen Edin noticed, the plants he touched came to life. King Umar stood before Queen Edin. He took her hand and the queen felt her life come back to her. King Umar held his wife in his arms and gave her a kiss.
"Let's this place back to life," he said. The two exited the garden. Slowly the color returned to the houses, the plants, and the people. The king had returned!
