About Me

Hello to all you Gaia users out there. I am Dane. I decided to update my profile here on Gaia, as I am getting more and more into using it. I had taken a short break from Gaia online though now I am ready to get back into using it.

A little information about myself... I am a fairly complex person with simple goals in life. I like to be with friends and talk about just about anything anyone is willing to throw at me. I also like playing on Xbox live and cooking.

I also roleplay with friends on games such as D&D and BESM. Though I do more physical things too. I am currently in an internship program and work out at home with my friends whenever they head over.

Overall, I am a fairly balanced person, I guess, Lol.

I watch comedy a lot on Nick at Night and adult swim. Stupid things are sometimes the funniest.
Movies
Personally I don't watch too many movies. I dislike most movies because they are too lengthy. Honestly, I can't sit still that long.
Books / Reading
I like to read Non-fiction and some types of fiction. Historical fiction and science fiction are the types I like. I cannot stand fantasy. My mind is just not that out there. I can't grasp the concept of things that aren't realistic.
Hobbies
I have few hobbies, though I still have them none-the-less. I love to play basketball. Absolutely love it. I'll play for hours on days where I have nothing better to do. I mean honestly. It's fun. I also enjoy just cutting loose and hanging with friends, you know? It's like the best thing to do. Socialize. Though anyone that knows me would laugh at that comment. I am hardly considered "social".
Favorite Things To Do
I absolutely -love- writing poetry. It may sound fruity, I know, but if you ever read some of my poems... You will understand. They are deep and have a unique meaning for each one. I have about twenty saved to my computer. They are all pretty good, though some are far better than others. If you would like to read some I am considering putting them in my journal, which is open for anyone to read.
Least Favorite Thing To Do
I hate sleeping. It hinders my ability to get things done, because, well, I'm sleeping! I feel like I always have boundless energy that needs to be used. So I work on things at all times to keep my energy levels from getting too high. I rarely sleep. The only times any of my friends will see me sleep all day, or at all really, is when I am depressed.

About My Friends

Cody
Cody... Man he's like my best friend at Evergreen with the exception of Ian. I trust Cody with everything that happens and I always will trust Cody. He has always been at my side and will always kick major a** as a friend. He's like a brother to me, just like most of my friends. I love him like a brother and I know he will always be there for me.
Skylark
Oh man, Skylark... This is one bad a** dude. He could take you down in a split second man. He's one of my best buddies, and even though I am twice his size, I still fear getting in a fight with him, even just play fighting. This dude is one bad dude. Though he's always been there to support me when I was feeling angry. He's like my tool calming down. I would have never of guessed it from the outside, but Skylark is one of the most caring people I know. He is very involved with his friends' lives. He is a true friend, and is also loved by me like a brother.
Johny
Johny... Man we have had some rough times man. We used to hate each other, didn't we? Well I used to hate you anyway. I know, nice right? Anyway... You turned out to be one of the most positive influences I have ever had. You can cheer anyone up at any time and make them laugh with your silliness. I love that quality about you man. You are truly a good person Johny. I hope you live a life to the fullest and have loads of fun on the way.

Kyle... Where would I have been without you? Man... I know we've been through a lot man. We pushed our way through bad times countless times, using each other for support as we did. As long as one of us remained strong, the other would soon recover and get back up. You have always been a true friend, though I feel that we may be drifting apart. I hope we don't. I would hate to lose you as a friend.

Where to start with you... You were the best. You always cheered me up and kept me going. Without you I most likely would have killed myself long ago. You kept me from doing so, and in my mind, that means I owe you my life. You were my soul reason for living and still are, Amanda. I will always care for you as more than a friend. You saved me from myself many a time over. I have nothing but positive things to say about you. I love what you are, who you are, and what you do. Your friends, though I do not know them well, have also tried to help me throughout the time we've known each other. I care for them as well, even if it doesn't seem like it. I love you Amanda, and I always will. I hope someday we can continue where we left off. I would like that very much.It would mean the world to me. I thank you for the kindness you have always shown me and the warm feeling you always give me. Not once have you intentionally hurt me. And I love you for that. You are a kind soul that will always have a place in my heart.

Kevan, Kevan, Kevan... You are possibly the best friend I've ever had. Very likely,actually. You helped me out when I needed you most, even when Kyle was unable to assist you were there. I love you man, you are, in my mind, a brother. Not by birth, but by heart. You have always helped me out when I needed you and I thank you for it. You are a true friend.

Castle, you are my teacher but man you always helped me out when I was having a hard time with a student or students in your class. You are, in my mind, a friend.
