 Current HP 32/32 Rae walked out to the battlefield, her hand holding a single pokeball. She clicked the white button on it while saying, "Maxwell, go!" There was a white light that came out from the ball that shimmered slightly before vanishing, leaving Maxwell in its place. Rae smiled softly and crouched down to scratch the magnemite behind his magnets which made him lean into her hand. "Miiiite..."

A girl of about seventeen walked into the Battlegrounds, a Raichu on her shoulder. It was time for her Raichu's seventh battle, and now Spinel didn't care if they won or lost, she was just hoping that Emi would be able to control herself better than she had the last two battles. "Alright Emi, please, if you get mad try to hold it in and wait for me. We're a team, you and I."
Emi nodded and jumped off her trainers shoulder, walking into the arena. Hey, her next opponent was against another electric type. This would be fun! Then again, the Magnemite also belonged to the steel type, so this would probably be a harder, longer battle than normal.

Current HP 32/32 Rae watched the other trainer enter with the raichu on her shoulder and frowned slightly in sadness. Maxwell was too much of a loner to want to spend time out of his pokeball unless he was battling. Straightening up, she nodded in welcome. "Here goes nothing Maxwell, be carefull, that raichu looks tough.." Maxwell blinked at his trainer and turned his attention to the other pokemon, hovering slightly lower than usual in preperation. "Maxwell, tackle!" Came the cry from Rae and the magnemite speed up the field to the raichu... 9 damage to Emi o.o;;

Emi attempted to dodge the tackle, but lost her footing and fell right ontop of the Magnemite as it tackled, knocking her back a few feet. Wow, that was one powerful tackle, it left her short of breath.
"Emi, use Iron Tail!" Spinel shouted after returning a nod to Rae.
The Raichu ran in zig-zag lines, her tail glowing white as iron encased it. She jumped into the air and spun around, almost like a roundhouse kick, only with her tail instead as she aimed for the back of the Magnemite.

Current HP 29/32 MAxwell tried to time his movements with the raichu's but as the tail caught him, sending him spinning, he realised that he was a bit off.. Rae was watching carefully, proud of his last attack and hoping he could keep it up for the rest of the battle. "Maxwell, metal sound!" Rae cried out while covering her ears. Maxwell blinked in agreement before rubbing his magnets together, creating a sound that was worse than fingernails on a chalkboard. 1 damage done

Hopefully this battle would be different than the last. Emi didn't seem near as ticked as she had then, and Spinel hoped that Emi could just be her noral competitive self, not the I'M GONNA KILL YOU!' competitive self she was earlier. The Metal Sound rang sharply in the trainers ear and she covered them in pain. "Emi, stop that Metal Sound! Use Volt Tackle!" She had to yell so that Emi might hear her over the Magnemite's screeching magnets as they rubbed together.
Emi concentrated on blocking out the noise, and it seemed to help a great deal. She dashed towards the Magnemite in zig-zags, her body encased in lightning. She wasn't so sure how this would fare against another electric type, but she obeyed her trainer. When she was close to Maxwell she leaped at him, aiming for his one eye. That was how Magnet had gone down so fast, she remembered. The Raichu was anxious to feel the cold steel as she struck it with her shoulder, the electricity surely transfering bodies.

Current HP 25/32 Maxwell saw the attack coming but it was almost too late by the time he stopped noise making and decided to dodge. The raichu slammed into his side, sending him spinning for a few revolutions before getting control of himself again. Rae felt like head-desking, he loved that attack too much, she couldn't wait til he levelled up and learnt a new one. "Maxwell, respond with another tackle!" she was hoping that the raichu would stay close enough so that he got a decent blow to her. Maxwell blinked and adjusted himself before trying to get up enough speed to do some decent damage 4 Damage done to Emi

Emi was glad she had hit, but she didn't hit hard and in the right place. Watching him spin around she waited for another command, but heard Maxwell's trainer tell him to use tackle. Hearing that made it easier to dodge, but she was so preoccupied with the other trainer she nearly had a Magnemite crash into her side. She dodged it ok, but was struck in the hindquarters.
"Emi, use Zap Cannon."
The Raichu spun around as a large ball of electricity formed before her, crackling with yellow and blue light. "Rai!" She cried as she released it, sending it hurtling toward the Magnemite.

Raerean Current HP 23/32 Maxwell slowed down after tackling the raichu but the jolt that she gave him made him jump and spin to glare at her. "Maxwell, try another tackle before she recovers!" came his trainers voice. Fueled by his rage, Maxwell sped to the other electric pokemon again. 2 Damage done to Emi

The Raichu recovered from her attack in time enough to see the Magnemite come hurtling towards her and dodge, though one of his magnets scraped her back. Turning with a gleam in her eye she faced Maxwell, not seeming to notice that her health was dwindling.
"You're doing good Emi, attack with Iron Tail!"
Her long tail glowed white as iron encased it, the lightningbolt becoming something of a blade as she ran at the Magnemite in zig-zags. Leaping into the air she spun her body around, gathering momentum as her tail swung sideways at Maxwell.
