Kekasho tossed Shadowcrushers poke'ball in a nervous fashion, it was his first time battling with his new poke'mon and his Gastly wasn't the easiest to get along with.
In a bright flash Shadowcrusher appeared from the ball, "Gastly..." She sniffed in a distasteful manner.
"Shadowcrusher, use Shadow Ball!" Called Kekasho.
"Gas.." Said Shadowcrusher as she charged the attack.HP:33/33 Damage to Emi -8 HP

A seventeen year old girl walked across a green field, looking for a new opponent. On her shoulder clung a Raichu, looking rather pleased with herself. "You ready for another battle Emi?" Spinel asked, patting the rodent on the head.
The Raichu gave her trainer a determined look before giving a wicked grin before jumping off and running into the arena. Almost as soon as she jumped in, however, she was hit by a ball made of shadow squarely in the chest. It knocked her breath out, but she recovered fairly quickly.
"Emi, are you alright?" The Raichu didn't answer, merely waited for her trainer. "Alright then. Attack with Zap Cannon."
The Raichu had a fierce gleam in her eye, normally this didn't appear until a little later in the battle. Her yellow cheeks crackled and popped with an electric current that joined to form a rather large bacll of electricity. With what could be described as a Raichu battle cry she released the energy, the ball hurtling toward the Gastly.

HP: 28/33 Shadowcrusher cringed as the attack hit her but recovered quickly.
"Gastly!" she hissed as she glared at Emi.
Kekasho had grunted with worry when Shadowcrusher had been hit but now he stood with a more sure manner.
"Nightshade" He commanded.
Shadowcrusher threw him a look before turning back to Emi and using the attack.

Emi didn't need to wait for Spinel to tell her to dodge, but she had to admit she waited for too long and was hit by the dark attack. She didn't quite know what to think of it, she'd never battled a ghost type before.
"Attack with Shockwave." Spinel commanded firmly, eyes keenly watching the battle.
The yellow cheeks lit up again, this time a wave of yellow, white and blue electricity flowing across the field towards the Gastly. If one didn't know any better they'd think it was a real wave.

HP:27/33 Shadowcrusher sniffed at the wave and closed her eyes as she braced for the attack. She opened them after a moment even though the attack had hit her already. She looked around before smirking smugly at Emi.
"Geh...Geh...Geh.." The Gastly made a strange noise, "Geh...Geh...Geh..."
Kekasho stamped his foot, "Shadowcrusher don't laugh at your opponient! It's not nice!"
Shadowcrusher looked away from him with a snobbish 'i don't need you' kind of "humph!"
Kekasho clapped his hand to his face and sighed before straightening back up looking serious.
"Shadowcrusher, use Shadow Ball!" he ordered with a fierce 'you'd better obey' tone to his voice.
Shadowcrusher glared at him but charged the attack none the less.

The Raichu tried to dodge the attack, but the Shadowball struck her hindquarters, her leg buckling slightly. She glared menacingly at the Gastly who was now laughing at her, developing a distaste for this one pokemon above all the others she'd battled. As much as she would have loved to savagely attack without waiting for Spinel, she held herself back, a light sweat breaking out at her frustration.
"Emi, it'll be alright, whether you win or lose doesn't matter. Now, attack with Iron Tail!" Her trainer roared, pointing at the Gastly across the field.
With pleasure. The Raichu thought as she barreled down the field, her tail glowing white as iron encased it, the lightningbolt at the end almost like a blade. When she was close enough she did a backflip right underneath the floating...gas, trying to hit her newfound enemy in back.

Shadowcrusher looked nastily into Emi's eyes with a venomous leer as the Raichu headed toward her with her tail lashed out. When the attack struck she went incorporeal after being hit so that she could move away. A gleam was in her eye as she grinned down at Emi.
"Gahahahahahahaha!" She laughed as she closed her eyes and floated down to the ground from laughing so hard.
Kekasho blushed and looked nervously at Emi's trainer before glaring at Shadowcrusher.
"Shadowcrusher stop laughing right now or I won't let you out of your Poke'ball for a week!" He thundered.
Shadowcrusher stopped laughing and looked shocked as she turned slowly to face her trainer who was red in the face.
"Yeah, that's right a whole week! Now straighten up right now!"
Shadowcrusher looked blankly at him for a moment before turning away with a sniff. However she did not dare laugh anymore.
"Shadowcrusher use Poison Gas!" Commanded Kekasho.
Shadowcrusher's mouth began to expel a greenish fog.

Emi bared her teeth at the Gastly as it fell to the ground with laughter. Now she really didn't like her, and she gave a smile of contempt when her trainer snapped at her, threatening her to the confine of her pokeball for a week. Although, Emi would've liked to see it's punishment last longer and maybe be harsher. How dare she laugh at her! Emi was consumed by her thoughts of dislike towards the Gastly, and didn't hear her own trainer yelling for her to get out of the way. Before she knew it she was hit by a green fog that burned her lungs and made it hard to breath.
Ooh now they'd done it. This time she didn't wait for her trainer to say anything, she just wanted to get one good hit on that Gastly, to put her in her place and show that even though this battle wasn't going in her favor she was a force to be reckoned with. After all, she'd defeated two Houndours before, one being her first battle. Her entire body was encased in bright yellow lightning as she charged back at her foe.

HP:24/33 Gastly grinned and went incorporeal as Emi came at her. The Raichu passed through her but she was not entirely unaffected. She turned and leered down at Emi.
'You're a weakling you pathetic electric rat!' snickered Shadowcrusher, 'Your hits are like feathers!'
Kekasho didn't know what Shadowcrusher was saying but knew it couldn't be nice. He shot an apologetic look at Emi's trainer for his Gastly's behavior.
"Shadowcrusher, use Poison Gas once more!" He called
'See ya loser!' sneered Shadowcrusher before she again let out the lethal fog.Damage to Emi -5

"What?! How dare you!" Emi spat back at Shadowcrusher, her fury rising and not noticing how tired she was bcoming. Never before had she been so weak. Why the hell was this Gastly so hard to beat compared to all the rest of the pokemon she'd battled?! The fog came over her once more, burning her lungs again and making it harder to breath. "I'll do you for that!" Her cheeks lit up again with electricity, the ball of lightning forming once more. This time it was as if her cheeks were using up all the electricity left in her body, this ball was larger than the last. I'll teach that Gastly who's boss! If not now, then I want a rematch! She thought as she released the giant ball of electric energy, hurling it toward Shadowcrusher with a savage cry.

HP:22/33 Shadowcrusher's jeering laugh split the air. 'Game over weakling!' she said as Emi's hit did little damage.
Kekasho said nothing about Shadowcrusher's disobedience but simply held a hand to his mouth and coughed. Shadowcrusher cast a look toward him and stopped laughing.
"Just shup up and finish it Shadowcrusher.." Said Kekasho in an acid tone, "Night Shade"
Shadowcrusher was a little perturbed by her trainers voice but leered down at Emi anyway. 'This was less then boring..' she sniffed as she used the attack.Damage to Emi -6

Emi cursed at herself at the little damage her attack had done. Damn that Gastly! "This isn't over Shadowcrusher!" She spat at the Gastly just before she took the attack, repelled back a few feet with a malicious look at the Gastly she was growing to despise more and more. "I'll get you yet." Then she fainted, eyes closing, her face of hate stained on.
Spinel ran over to her, she knew now that Emi would want revenge. She was a very competitive battler and hated to lose, and now that she had seen what happened when she got pissed off she realized just how much work they had to do. Spinel sighed, hands on her hips as she bent down and picked her Raichu. "Emi Emi Emi. You still have some things to learn." At this the Raichu opened her eyes and turned away from the Gastly, tired and wanting to sleep now. "You did your best, that's what counts." She looked at Shadowcrusher's trainer and gave a weak smile. "That was a good battle. Emi is going to want a rematch. My nam'es Spinel."

"I'm Kekasho..." Said Kekasho getting out Shadowcrushers ball. "I apologize for my Gastly, she think's she's all that. Return Shadowcrusher!"
He Clutched the ball tightly before forcefully shaking it and jamming it back onto his belt. "A rematch would be fine with me, I'll see to it that Shadowcrusher behaves next time..." He bowed to Spinel and Emi and turned and slowly walked away. "Better luck next time Spinel, I await your challenge."

Spinel nodded and turned away, returning to the Pokemon Center to revive her fallen friend. She wasn't going to hear the end of this until their rematch, probably, if she knew Emi.
