Ruri lay on her belly in the grass with her head in her hands as she watched Lore do what he usually did. The Meditite was sitting in a meditation position, eyes closed and apparently deep in thought. Watching him was getting really, really, really bored. When she had suggested they take a rest after their last battle, she had hoped that meant, ice creams, shopping and possibly a beach visit. Not sitting down doing nothing.
“Can’t we do something more interesting? Like I dunno… training? Or we could get something to eat? All you’ve eaten today is one berry. It wont hurt to have something else. You won’t put on weight or anything and you’ll need strength for the next battle. Forget training your mind, let’s train your body!”
Lore opened one eye and glared at her before closing it again. Ruri sighed and rolled onto her back. The sky was so blue today and the sun was warm. It was a really nice day. Where would they go next? Maybe Johto. Yeah, that sounded good. She would try catch Mareep there.
Ruri glanced over towards the road and then back at her Pokemon. “Loooore!” Still boring.

Raven tossed the ball that she had brought for her houndour pup across the grass, unaware of the person laying over in the grass. He chased the ball over towards where they were, and upon noticing the trainer sat down and let out a howl.
"Diamond," Raven called, and after a few moments headed in the direction that he had gone. She noticed the Meditite meditating on the grass, and then noticed the trainer. "I hope Diamond didn't bother you."

“Huh?” Ruri looked around to see a Houndour hurtling through the grass towards them. “Eep.” She gasped and tried to get up but stumbled backwards instead, landing painfully on her behind. It suddenly lifted its head and howled. Lore opened his eyes and glared at the offending Pokemon.
Ruri blinked up at the trainer that had suddenly appeared and then grinned. A chuckled bubbled out. “Nah, Diamond didn’t bother us. Did it Lore?” She nudged the Meditite beside her with her elbow.
“Wanna sit down with us?”

The houndour raced off, and Raven smiled at the other trainer. "Sure," she answered, and flopped down on the ground next to her. It was always a good idea to meet new trainers and it was an idea that Raven believed in strongly. "I'm Raven."

Chrissy walked down the dirt path, and looked over the grassy hills. " So where do you think we'll end up this time frisky? " She asked to the Sentret on her shoulder as she bit into an apple. She laughed as her newly found pokemon rumaged through her backpack. " Your not a fire pokemon, but i'm not complaining. " She said with a grin, and she patted Frisky's head.

“My name is Ruri.” She replied while watching the Houndour bounce away. Meeting other trainers was high on her priority list as well. You could find great friends and battling partners if you talked to a lot of people.
“Yeah, just call me Ruri… or Ru. Someone used to call me that once. I’ve never been called Ri before though.”
From the corner of her eyes she noticed another girl coming down the path. It was a good day for meeting other apparently.

Chrissy looked up from her apple, a small sence of someone watching her. Frisky apparently felt it too, as she clung to chrissy's shoulder, and looked around cautiously. But chrissy didn't stop walking, until she saw two trainers sitting on a hill, and two interesting looking pokemon were with them. She smiled at the houndour, remembering the first one she met at a beach. " Sentret Sen! " Said the little sentret. Chrissy laughed. " Are you sure you wanna go up there? " The sentret nodded firmly, and chrissy smiled as she began to walk closer to the hill.

The houndour hadn't gone far, and once he had found his ball, had returned to lay next to Raven. He chewed on the ball while he watched the Meditite meditate. Raven petted Diamond absentmindedly, before noticing the trainer coming over. "Seems like we're about to have company."

Chrissy finished her apple. as she was about to toss it, The sentret quickly took hold of it, tearing out the small twig at the top, and finishing it off with a few bites. He then jumped from her shoulder, and ran towards the direction of the other pokemon, in a playfull mood.
