Popai ran to the Isle of Gambino all the way from his home, Barton Town. He was exhausted when he finally reached the island. "Wait up!" Popai shouted. The ship was almost about to depart! Popai waved his ticket nervously and luckily, the ship slowed down a bit. He walked into the ship, seeing the beautiful inside. In there, there was trainers of all ages and there Pokemon. He saw a Psyduck, Munchlax, and Zigzagoon, and much more. He headed out into the deck and hoped that the breeze would cool him off. He took out the water bottle from his rucksack and began to drink. After finishing half the bottle, the ship was about to set sail once again. The destination was Sinnoh, and Popai hoped to visit the Great Marsh, a major tourist attraction.

In about a hour or so, the ship was already in the ocean. The sun's rays glistened the water on the ocean. Popai gazed into the waters, hoping to see some rare, or common Pokemon. He spotted a Seel, Goldeen, and surprisingly, a Lapras. It was swimming gracefully as if she was the only one in the ocean. After watching the Pokemon swim, Popai's stomach made a loud noise. He covered it nervously while people stared and walked away. He was starving! He had to get something to eat, even if it cost money. He walked until he saw the dining room. There were buckets of Pokemon food, and plates of gourmet meals. There were chicken, pork, rice, beef, everything looked so delicious, he didn't know where to start. He started gobbling down the cake first, since he couldn't resist it. Then when he was half full, he grabbed three small Pokeballs from his pocket and threw them on the ground. Out came three Pokemon, a green and blue plant, a purple and black blob, and and a small green caterpillar. Popai handed them a plate of gourmet Pokemon food, and they started gobbling them down. Curse didn't feel like eating much, so he finished half of the plate and then floated away. Popai didn't really worry that much, since there were probably no villains on this kind of ship. Also, he was so hungry he didn't even care. He then started to eat chicken with rice. It was so delicious, that he at beef with rice this time. After eating that, he got up and went to the main part of the ship. He saw so many people, it was hard to move. He had to say "Excuse me" a couple of times for people who didn't notice him. Pollen followed behind, with Mimi inside his leaves. Popai wondered what will be at the end of the ship, but when he reached the end, he saw a huge painting of the ship, and the builder. The ship looked like it could be sold for a ton of money. Popai then went into a random room that was empty, and fell asleep quickly.

Diiiing!
The ship's bell rang Popai up. He rushed to get dressed, he wouldn't want to be the last person up. He ran out the boat excitingly, hoping to see the Great Marsh right in front of him. It was his dream to research all the Pokemon that lived in the natural habitat. Instead, it led to Hearthome City. It didn't surprise him though, since it IS the most popular place in Sinnoh. He didn't know a lot about the city, so he just frowned. When he came out of the ship, he waved the ship good-bye while it sailed away. He stepped out, and behind him was his Pokemon. "Alright guys," he grinned. "You had your fun, now you should return to your Pokeballs. He pressed the center of the ball, and out came a red flash. After a while, the three Pokemon were gone. Popai smiled and walked while flipping through the tourist booklet. First, he went to the Gym, the Gym Leader was supposed to be Fantina, which was also a Pokemon Contest Champion. There was a long description of her life, but he was too lazy to read all of it, so he just skimmed. "Hmm... She's supposed to be the.. 5th Gym Leader, I guess?" Popai pondered. "Well, she's too hard for me, so I'll come back later." Next, he stopped by the Pokemon Contest. He read the brief descriptions of all of the categories. "Wow, those are some wacky stuff. Who knew Pokemon could dance?" He laughed. He was fascinated by the winners of the Visual and Performance categories. The Visuals were dressed so nicely, it looked like professional dressers. There was one that looked like a superstar, one that looked like a clown, and third place was one that looked like it was from the 60's. There was a video of all the attack performances, some were lame, while others were spectacular. Some people had some creative moves, and the judges clapped for all of the entrants. Popai was tired after the tour, and he didn't feel like going to the Great Marsh anymore. He wanted to explore all of Sinnoh, and all the creatures, big and small. He grabbed some extra tour books and filled his rucksack with Pokemon food and some bread. He then ran down the road to the next town or city.

"Hmmm," Popai thought, looking through his Town Map. "If I go this way, then I'll end up in Solaceon Town... But this way is Pastoria. Where there is the Great Marsh..." Popai whispered to himself. "Oops, my Pokemon's probably hungry now." He threw out his three Pokeballs and out came three white flashes. Out of Curse, Pollen, and Mimi, they looked starving, and Mimi jumped into Pollen. "I'm sorry, here, have some Poffins. I made them myself in Hearthome." Popai grinned. It was hard, but worth it. The Poffins were hard to make, plus it made his clothes dirty, but it was delicious by the faces of the Pokemon, other than Curse. It was expected because he was never happy anyway. Popai ignored him and digged through his rucksack for some bread. It was the morning, so he got the one with egg and ham filling. He unwrapped it and started gobbling it down. After that, he got out his pot and started a fire from two twigs, it was very big, but it was fine for cooking. The got out his box of Chicken Broth and added some spices. He got out a spoon and tasted it. "Mmm... That's delicious! Or maybe its just my hunger." Popai thought. His cooking wasn't very good, but it'll definitely improve after he's finished with his adventure in Sinnoh. He didn't think he'll have enough food, but he can buy some more bread in Pastoria. Pollen started playing with Mimi on the short grass, when all of a sudden, a Nidoran Female came out. Pollen greeted her, but Curse scared her away by using Scary Face. He looked through his Rucksack once again, and then emptied it out. There was some paper, a pen and pencil, a bookmark, a cell phone, and some extra bread and broth. "Why would there be a bookmark here?" Popai thought. There was no reason to have a cheap bookmark if there wasn't any books. He didn't believe that he should keep it, so he tossed it, forgetting that he was littering. He tried out the pen, but it was out of ink, so he tossed away that, plus the wrinkled papers. The Cell Phone was old, but it could still be used, so he threw that into the Sack and zipped it up. He then carried it, while returning his Pokemon into their Pokeballs. "We're halfway there! The excitement is thrilling." He said to his Pokeballs. He was shivering, wanting to the Pokemon that lived in the Great Marsh. He knew that common Pokemon like Starly and Bidoof lived there, and the only uncommon Pokemon he knew was Wooper and Quasire. He started walking down the hill in where he rested and ate, while stretching his arms.
