Hardcore/metal rockers prove that Japanese indie scene is alive and kicking, roaring and bellowing. After forming in 2004, the band released its first single, "Kaisen sengen," which debuted at No. 10 on the Japanese indie charts and sold out. Four more singles, two of which were available at tour concerts only, also sold out. girugamesh has toured Japan multiple times and released its first full-length album, 13's reborn, in 2006.
I'll have more information up later. I just was listening to their new single "Owari to Mirai" and figured it should be up here.

I've bought their cd 13's reborn a few months ago and I'm a huge fan of them since I first listened to it. I know downloaded their newest album Girugamesh and it's such a good album! I'm definitely going to buy it when they released the cd here in Europe.

I never really listened to them in the beginning, but then someone said I really had to hear their new album; Girugamesh. And well after hearing it once I was hooked. Fell totally in love with Kowarete iku sekai and it will always be one of my favorite songs ^^ love the lyrics too heart
But anyways, got both of their albums and I really wish I could get my hands on their two EPs too, I really love Reason of Crying. Though the last album does have three numbers from that one on it and three really good numbers at that XD. I really was surprised when I suddenly heard the beginning Real my Place ^^
So anyone who doesn't know Giru.....>< shame on you!! Go listen to them right now ><

I just recently found out about Girugamesh after some time of searching the internet. I'm not quite sure how I found out about them; probably someone posted something about them and I looked into it. I really like every song I've heard by Girugamesh, but Dirty Blue Blood is one title that I remember.

GIRUGAMESH IS ORGASMIC. I love Satoshi's vocie...and i hope i got his name right...lol. they really know how to rock...and out of all of the JRock bands i have ever heard, girugamesh is sooo much better than anything. even better than american! heart
