Well, my character doesn't have much of a backstory. However, what's the backstory of the world? We really don't know much about it.

your right i guess but as it says on the home page this is a time after the warriors of light defeated chaos which happened in the first ff game so we are in midevil times each land has its own rule of power wether it fall in the jurisdiction of man or monster eventually if enough people get going we may have some strong evil rise but for now its just go as you please

Oh, I hadn't made the connection to FF1. That makes a lot more sense now. So I take it that nobody has the orbs at the moment, but certain people may get them later?

possibly but we need more people and i think that we will have some connections to them all the crimson blades will be a big part after a while
