 Piney confidentially walked into the stadium, holding Fai's Pokeball in her right hand. She won one battle, sure, but even that swelled her head a bit. "Let's have it like last time! Go Fai!" She shouted, throwing the red and white orb into the air. Out popped a Dratini, full of energy and ready to battle. "Start it out with Leer!" Piney told her. ((I start it out right? XD; HP: 35/35 8 damage done))

Duel walked to her own side of the field and tossed a red and white pokeball onto the field. In a blaze of white light, a bulbasaur appeared, ready for battle.
As the judge stared the battle, her opponent didn't waste anytime; the battle started with a harsh blow which threw the pokemon several feet. Dazed, Flash stumbled a bit before regaining it's feet.
"Flash! Let's not let it get us down! Use your Stun Spore!"

Fai couldn't dodge by the time the yellow powder rained down on her and paralyzed her body. She fell down on the floor, stiff as a rock. "You can snap out of it!" Piney shouted, hoping that she would be alright. And indeed, the Dratini rose, though a nasty bruise was on her nose where she fell. "Dragon Rage attack! Now!" Fai opened her mouth and blew out menacing blue fire straight at her opponent. ((HP: 28/35 8 damage done))

"BULBASSSSSSAAAAAUUUUURRR!!!!!!"
While the hit was hard, the result was very comical; Flash flew around her half of the arena, trying to put out the blue fire that flickered on the plant bulb. After a few moments, the flames went out and left the plant smoking slightly.
"Flash! Don't give in! Use your Poison Powder attack!"
HP: 13/29

Piney winced as Fai was afflicted by the purple spores, clearly causing her pain. She wimpered and curled up while her trainer tried to think of the move to use. "Fai! Use Twister attack to clear the air of spores!" Doing her best to obey, she spun rapidly in a circle, unleashing a twister that sucked in all the spore in the air. Piney thought that she looked much better, and hoped that she really was. ((HP: 21/35 3 damage done))

The twister raged, but Flashed managed to hold her ground. Sadly, some of her own spores backfired, causing damage.
"Flash! Use Flash attack!"
A blinding light erupted from the bulb on Flashs' back, blinding everyone nearby.
HP: 10/29

Fai squeaked and tipped over backwards in surprise. She bonked the back of her head on the floor, now having a matching pair of bruises. Wondering what was up with her Dratini and falling over, Piney issued her next attack. "Use a Thunder Wave attack!" She righted herself and stared at the Bulbasaur before launching odd bolts of lighting at her. ((HP: 15/35 9 damage done. Ouch.))

Aw man....this was bad...this was very bad! Flash laided in the center of the field, panting and sweating with exhaustion; the grass-type couldn't take anymore hits. But they weren't about to give in! Shaking away the haze, Flash shakely got to her feet and glared at Dratini with glazed eyes.
"Flash.....a-are you sure you don't want to....."
"BULBA! (NO!) BULBASAUR! (I fight until the end!)"
"Alright then! Let's go out in a blaze of glory! FLash! Use your Solarbeam attack!"
A scorching beam of light shot out of FLashs' plant bulb, aimed directly at Dratini.
HP: 1/29

Fai was blasted into the air and smacked into a wall, though she didn't fly off the ground much. Landing as a small heap, she quickly shook the dust off of herself and Piney breathed a sigh of relief. "Good thing it wasn't as devestating as it could've been." She muttered to herself. When Fai was ready to attack one last time, she shouted, "Finish this battle with a Rage attack!" The Dratini leaped into the air and divebombed, surrounded by red flames. ((HP: 13/35 2 damage done))

"Bulb......Bulbas-saur....."
The pokemon could not deny the loss any longer. She stood tall and proud (despite all of her injures and burns) before slumping to the ground in exhaustion.
"FLASH!" Running onto the field, the trainer gently scooped the little pokemon into her arms. "FLash....."
"Bulba.....bul......saur..." The pokemon gave her trainer a tired smile.
"-sigh- A loss is a loss, nothing can turn it around. We'll just have to fight harder next time. C'mon girl.....let's get you to the pokemon center."
Standing, Duel turned and moved to walk out of the stadium. "Hey....nice battle, hope we can do it again real soon!"

Piney smiled as she recalled Fai back into her Pokeball. "You did a great job. You definetly deserve some rest." After tucking her Pokeball in a safe place, she turned to Duelist. "I agree. That was a good battle. I look forward to our next!" Waving good-bye, she trotted out of the stadium with a skip in her walk. Winner: Bouncy_Pineapple!
