Lady Aria Starstone/Tristam Lockhart: Albaria, Hestia, Benjari, Aria, Tristam and Morpheus. Albaria slides out between some trees, considering things, looking around, before she went towards the stream. She was a little suspicious of things, since Athena had run off, the whole family was on alert about her. She sipped quietly, watching. Tristam nibbled on a piece of fruit, slowly moving his tail as he tried to shake off a couple of butterflies that had come to like the limb for a perch. Being gentle with each 'wag', wanting to scare them off, not hurt the delicate insects. He nab on the fruit, eyes half close, the milky pupils looking away from the tail, and into nothingness. Albaria saw a small Ulaith nearby, eating some fruit. She paused, studying him, then walks over, curiously. "Mmmm... Hello there..." She sits down next to him, studying the little fellow curiously. "Are you on your own?" She was concerned, a little guy like this shouldn't be on his own. The young Ulaith tilted his head, opening his eyes more, thought not looking even towards her as he kept eating. His pale pupils stare still into nothingness between the icy iris of cyan-tint white hue. He pause on his nipping at the fruit. "....." He nodded his head. Albaria frowns a little at this. "Where is your human partner?" She was deeply concerned now, to find this fellow on his own, completely. "I'd hate for one of the unscrupulous ones to find you here..." Tristam tilted his head further to one side, one of his eyes looking towards her, thought it didn't seem focus. "Human...partner...?" He seem confuse to say the least. "Your human. The one who is raising and caring for you. We all have them." Now she was seriously concerned. How could he not know? ALL of them had human partners. Even Athena, though she was insane and hiding from them all. Tristam blinked again, trying to identified what she was talking about. ". . ." He took another n** from the fruit before he suddenly understood. "Oh, him...I lost him somewhere in the woods..." Albaria frowns slightly. "Mmmm that could be an issue. He's supposed to be your partner. To protect you. Trust me, there are some nasty sorts you'd really rather not have find you." Tristam blinked his strange eyes. "....Why?" His tail wagged, making the butterflies finally take off, the movement truly bothering them now. "Because they'd force you to do their will. You're young, and now where near full powered yet. I'm not either, but I'm big enough to fight and know how to get my human and her other companions to come at a trot to protect me." Sticking his small black tongue out for a moment, his head tilted lightly the other way. "......Really?....mine was easy to lose. I don't think he can do that...and I don't understand what he says." She sighs and leans her head down. "Trust me. He needs to keep an eye on you. And you need to work on that. Cause Athena might find you, and she's nastier than a bad human. She nearly killed another Ulaith recently." Tristam sighs, getting up. His head tilted slightly as he moved it from side to side, listening and smelling the breeze. His eyes remind half close, lowering his head, he started to walk, carefully. "Alright. I'll go find him." She stands as well. "I'll follow. I'm Albaria, by the way. What's your name? Are you tribe affiliated?" She was curious, and also protective. The dream catcher become visible as it slide to rest onto his chest as he shook his head, his silverish white mane cascading at one side of his neck. "Tristam and....what's a tribe..." He looked at her curiously, his eyes large and childish innocent. She considers, then notes the dream catcher, mildly curiously, but leaves it alone for now. "Nice to meet you, Tristam. Ummm well that's my question answered." She paused, and explained what a tribe was to him as they walked.(Cause Aria can't think of a good way to do so.) He listen closely to her as he walked with her, walking into some trees every once in a while even thought he was looking straight forward. It made one think that maybe those eyes were really blind. Albaria noticed his walking into trees, and frowns slightly but doesn't ask. If he wanted assistance, he would tell her. "So yeah, that's a tribe. I live in one, my human is the leader!" Tristam lowered his head, rubbing his nose a bit before following after until he was by her side again. "...I think I would like to meet this human...She sounds interesting" Albaria smiles a bit. "Aria's not bad. She's sweet. And very upset. But that's nothing to do with you. Athena... was one of her Ulaith companions, til Athena went insane." His head tilted a bit, but didn't press the subject as he sniffed around. Still looking for the one he had lost before. He mumbled something under his breath as he walked in another direction. She watches him, and follows along. "Do you recall where you left him, or about where?" Tristam shook his head. "No, I cannot remember..."
"...Well...this is not what I expected to find once I tracked you down, again for the third time today, Tristam." The young Ulaith turned to looked at the pale vampire, whose arms were crossed and he pose in a rather 'you-are-in-big-trouble-mister' fatherly way. He walked over, picking up the albino. "Now stop running off every time I try to get some shut eye." Tristam squeak. The vampire sighed, sitting down and putting him on his lap as he looked at Albaria then at Tristam. "None the less, who's your friend?....I hope its a friend." Tristam gave him a soft glare. Albaria looked at the man, not sure how to communicate with him, since the telepathy didn't really extend to humans not your own, then she looked at Tristam. "Well at least we found him..." She said, wishing more humans spoke Ulaith. The vampire watched her curiously as he held the squirming Ulaith. He sighed and let him go. "Do you ever run out of energy...?"
Tristam shook his whole frame, making a could of glass and metal beads in his dream catcher chime gently. "Yeah...." He looked at the vampire, who was calmly leaning against a tree. "I still say he doesn't seem like he would be a great help if I were attack..." "They have surprising depths, these humans. Trust me on that. You'll never know how surprising unless you give them the chance to show you." She sits, her tail sliding around her. Tristam tilted his head. "By the way, do all humans drink blood daily? or did I got the weird one out of bunch?"
Morpheus raised an eyebrow, feeling his ears were burning. "I wonder who the hell has been talking about me...." He rubbed one of his ears, mumbling darkly under his breath afterwards. Albaria considers little Tristam, then finally says "You've got an unusual one, certainly, but not the only unusual one. There's lots of 'odd' ones. I hear there's an orc." Tristam blinked. "What's an orc?" He asked as he climbed onto the vampire's lap, taking his forearm between his jaws and starting to chew on the leather armlet the vampire wore under his clothes. Morpheus let out a sigh, moving his arm so Tristam was cradle between his free arm and his legs. "Do you enjoy destroying part of my equipment or something?" The big cyan eyes looked up at him, confuse as the small Ulaith kept nibbling on leather. "Nevermind....At least it keeps you busy....." "My you don't know a great deal yet, do you?" She considers him, then gives a basic explanation to him. She watches him chew the leather, then runs out of sight, before returning, carrying a bone. "Here. This is better for the teeth. And marrow is good for bones. Leather has no value in it." "I don't know the names of everything." He answering before listening to her explanation. Both watching her run out of sight, looked at each other, puzzled for a moment before she came back. Tristam leapt onto the bone, taking it between jaws before returning to the position he had been before, finding it much comfortable then laying on his belly. Morpheus leaned back and smiled towards Albaria. "Thank you." He looked at Tristam. "...and now I am bed, it seems." "Ahhh I see." She nods, then smiles a little, listening to the two, once again wishing she had a way to speak to Morpheus. "Mmm he should be glad, When you get bigger, bed he can not be, nor will he be picking you up." Tristam tilted his head and looked at the vampire before at Albaria. "The roles will change, won't they?...He can still be a chew toy no matter how big I get."
Morpheus watched the two still. "....I have the sensation I am being spoken of..." He tapped Tristam's nose before running his fingers through his long hair, looking towards Albaria, his head tilted. "I wonder where your partner is...then again, I am assuming you have one..." Albaria looks extremely pleased and nods, then begins to move through the woods. She'd take this fellow to Aria, who might be able to offer the advice Albaria wasn't able to, with her inability to speak to this Morpheus. Her tail swished a bit, and she smiles at him as she walks. The vampire smile. "Yay! I guessed right." Tristam squirmed and the vampire sighed. "Alright, but if you run into a tree, I am picking you right back up...."He put him down and watched the Ulaith follow after other, still chewing on the bone. He rolled his eyes and walked after them. Albaria walks, for about ten minutes, heading into a U valley, where some guards glance at them, but let them through since they are with her, and up to the village at the center, where a woman is peering about, obviously looking for something or some one, when she spots them.
"Albaria! There you are!" Tristam came slowly to stop, looking towards the woman. Morpheus stop as well, feeling slightly out of place, much like the young Ulaith, whom went back to the vampire and sat down by him, somewhat using his cape to hide himself, thought the vampire was just feeling out of place, while Tristam was just afraid of everything in the village, since it was new to him. Aria studied them both, calmly. "Mmm... Albaria brought you... I'm sure there's a good reason..." She tilts her head, and looks at Albaria. She's silent for a long moment, as Albaria tilts her head in the opposite direction. "AH!" She finally says, and smiles. "Would you like to come in? I have tea... or..." She pondered the man, then said "If you can handle the blood of herd beasts, I can have some of that brought." Morpheus smiled gently towards her. "Tea is fine...I have my filled of blood today..."He watched the two closely for a moment before keeping his eyes on Aria. "And yes, I would love to come in. It might calm Tristam a bit." Aria smiles at this, and leads them towards the largish home at the center of the village. "Very well. And I have milk for the young one. I think Albaria brought you here because your pairing seems new and, perhaps, a little tentative?" Morpheus follow after her, having Tristam following closely. "That sounds good." His head tilted slightly before looking at Tristam. "That's..one way to put it I guess..." Aria sets up the teapot, then gets out two bowls, filling one with milk, the other with water, and sets them on the floor. Albaria moves to drink out of the water bowl, as Aria offers Morpheus a seat. Morpheus takes a seat, encouraging Tristam to the bowl when he tried to climb onto his lap again. The Ulaith squeak and went up to the bowl of milk cautiously, sniffing for it. He bump his nose tip against the bowl, before he raised his head up and started to drink the milk. "oi...I sometimes wonder if he really is blind..." Aria looked down at the little fellow, then back up. "Doesn't much matter, does it? They're an incredible species... He'll be fine, I'm sure." She finds her tea selection, gets some cups, and offers him his choice of teas, since she liked them all. "So. Albaria said you two seem to be very... lost... with each other at some level." Morpheus laughed. "That's a nice way to put it..."He picked up his favorite tea out of her collection. "He's very independent...or he thinks he is. To be put simply...I slept less then a hour this week just out of trying to keep up. This morning I completely lost him, he just left when I was sleeping."
Tristam kept drinking, thought he seem to realize he was being spoken off, since he kept raising his head up to hear them more clearly. Yet he still didn't know what they were saying. Aria pondered this, as she sets up the pot with a tea ball and gets the hot water, pouring it in. She looked at the little one, and says "My, you ARE the mischief maker... Haven't learned to talk mind to mind yet, I'd guess?" She turned back to Morpheus. "He's young... Perhaps you might wish to stay here for a time? We have room, and my fo... three...." She sighed softly. "Can help you out with him, watching him while you sleep."
Albaria's lips twitched. Between her and Hestia, he'd probably be well cared for and her 'brother' would be a good playmate for Tristam. Tristam stuck his small black tongue at her, thought stop at feeling Morpheus' gentle disapproving glare. He looked at Albaria. "...what are they saying...."
Morpheus smiled. "That's...a very very tempting offer. But I rather stay out of villages...I do like to give my alliance to no one but my friends. Besides...my lack of social skills makes wanting to stay and be part of a tribe a rather bad experience. I do not wish for banishment, dear lady." "I'm not suggesting a permanent stay, if you don't wish. But long enough for you two to settle into a comfortable relationship with one another." She looked away, sighing softly. She did wish others would join the tribe, but she'd never force anyone.
Albaria looks at him. "Try being polite to people you want to ask favors of, I suggest, Tristam." She arches a brow, looking pointedly at his mouth. Tristam's tail twitched and he went back to minding the milk.
Morpheus watched her closely, raising an eyebrow. "If that is the case, then I guess for our sake, we shall stay. And see how this goes...." She turns back, and smiles, then pours tea for them both. "I have plenty of room, and not many people have joined the tribe, you should be fine." She sits and adds sugar and some milk to her cup. "And I think Benjari will be thrilled to have a playmate."
Albaria grins a little, and has some more water, her eyes on the younger one. Morpheus nodded slowly. "Thank you. This is much appreciated." He smiled as he took his cup without sugar at all. He blew onto the hot liquid.
Tristam lapped at the milk until the bowl clean, he walked back to the vampire, climbing clumsily onto his lap and curling up there.
"I am just a bed to him, I think....A playmate huh...Maybe he will keep still once he's tired out..." "Mmm you two need to learn to communicate... You'll be more then a bed then. Right now, he's probably just confused as to what good you are, or something. Lack of communication makes life difficult." Morpheus nodded. "Indeed...thought...how do you learn to communicate with Ulaith?"
Tristam let out a yawn, a belly full of milk was making him sleepy. He cuddle back into Morpheus and let out another small yawn. Aria paused. "I'm... not entirely sure. I know that Hestia and... well they came to me as adults. Albaria I've raised, as I'm raising Benjari... they both learned to speak to me here..." She taps her head, gently. "Over time, but I couldn't say how long it took..."
Albaria looks at Tristam, then turns to Aria. Ask if Morpheus will mind if I took Tristam to a bed... She then spoke to Tristam. "If Morpheus doesn't mind, would you mind if I brought you to a bed? A real one, not a person."
Aria turns, looking at Albaria as she spoke to Aria, then looks at Tristam. "She'd like to bring little mister sleepy to a bed, if you wouldn't mind?" Morpheus tilted his head. "I see..." He blinked several times before looking at Tristam. He hesitated, yes, he wanted a small break from the ulaith, but he did like having him on his lap. He ran his fingers through the silvery hair. "alright. Its find by me."
Tristam open one eye, he felt a light tap on his tail, which he had learn meant to get off. He slip off the vampire's lap, sticking his tongue out at him before sleepily looking at Albaria. "I like my bed..." His tail twitched. "But I guess I could give your bed a try..." Albaria smiled a little, and says "This one wont unexpectedly move, and there are blankets if you get cold." She leads him off to a small room, where there are several large basket-beds, designed for four legged beings to get into and out of. They had BIG cushions, clothed in canvas so as to withstand claws, and pillows, and the afore mentioned blankets. Hestia was sitting in hers, near the door, and Benjari was asleep in his. Albaria leads Tristam to a free one, unused, and shoots a look at Hestia.
"He'll have a comfy enough bed, and he'll be under the eyes of my others. This way, you can get some sleep as well, Morpheus." She nods at the dark circles under his eyes. "You need it." Tristam followed after her, swaying from side to side in sleepiness. Walking towards the free one, his head tilted at Albaria's funny glance. He looked towards Hestia, his strange eyes locking onto the Ulaith. "....I am going back to my bed..." Hestia's size made him a bit nervous...and Albaria's look made him uneasy.
Morpheus chuckled softly before taking a sip from the tea. "When you take me to my bedroom, I might actually fall asleep standng before I make it to that bed..." Albaria sits in front of the now closed door. "Sleep, Tristam. You're exhausted. Hestia wont hurt you, she's gentle indeed. I was just explaining to her. When you've learned to speak, mind to mind, you'll be able to do that too. I was just telling her who you were and where you came from. She's sweet, Hestia." Hestia, behind her, was smiling in a way that was reminiscent of some one's aunt who'd never been a mom, but loved kids.
Aria smiles a bit. "Indeed, than I shall have to assist you, if necessary, to lay down, and at least get your shoes off." It wasn't suggestive, just friendly concern. Albaria sits in front of the now closed door. "Sleep, Tristam. You're exhausted. Hestia wont hurt you, she's gentle indeed. I was just explaining to her. Hestia, behind her, was smiling in a way that was reminiscent of some one's aunt who'd never been a mom, but loved kids.
Aria smiles a bit. "Indeed, than I shall have to assist you, if necessary, to lay down, and at least get your shoes off." It wasn't suggestive, just friendly concern. Tristam was still unsure but got onto the empty bed. "Okay..." He curled up, still a bit unnerve over other things, the main one was that this was the first time he was sleeping away from his 'bed'. Even if he lost Morpheus, he always manage to find him to use him as a bed.
Morpheus smile in a way to keep his fangs out of view. "Quiet alright. I promise to manage to take my shoes, cape and maybe even my shirt off before getting into bed." Albaria smiles at him in a friendly, kind way. "You'll find it comfortable." She nods. "And it wont tear. It's designed for our kind." She hums softly, then gently sings a lullaby of their kind.
"When ever you finish your tea, I can take you." She nods, and ponders why he would hide his fangs, when she had already made it clear, she thought, that she knew what he was.
Tristam's head tilted slightly for a moment at it rested on the bed. His strange eyes slowly closing, enjoying the gentle sound. He curled up tigher, pulling his tail tip over his eyes.
Morpheus took another sip of his tea before chuckle and putting the cup down. "I better go to sleep now...I am relaxing a bit too much by sitting here..." He smile. His habit of hiding his fangs was second nature by this point of his life. Albaria continues to sing, watching over him, smiling gently at the little one.
Aria smiles and nods. "All right." She finishes her tea, and stands. "This way." She heads down the hall to a room. It was simply furnished, with a made bed, a dresser, and a closet, the sort of thing one keeps for guests. Tristam yawned and slipped off into a quiet slumber. His dream catcher lay to one side, its decorative stones shinning gently in light.
Morpheus rose to his feet and follow after her. Once they enter the room, he smiled at Aria and bowed deeply, the long black hair cascade gently forward to shield his whole face. "Thank you." Albaria smiles and closes her eyes, resting now that the little one was asleep. Hestia would watch the two young ones, in case they woke, and Albaria was in front of the only exit, the windows being high out of the reach of littles.
"Of course, Morpheus. Sleep well." She smiled, and nodded her head. "You're welcome to make use of the room as long as you need it." She turns to go. "Just... don't fall over in exhaustion, I'd rather my guests not be hurt." She gives him a sparkling smile over her shoulder, then lets him be, to rest. Morpheus rose back up and chuckled. "Will try no to." He smiled. Once she left and he close the door. He took his shoes off and lay on the bed, all too quickly falling asleep. He awaken once, suddenly checking the small space by him before his memory hit him of where he was. He pulled the pillow over his head and went right back to sleep.
Tristam remind asleep, finding the bed comfortable, tho lacking the pulse he liked from Morpheus.
The young Ulaith didn't took long to wake up, actually, his strange eyes open ten minutes before Morpheus had awaken. He yawned and tilted his head, slowly remembering where he was and why there was no pulse. He got up and stretched, arching his back in and then out, making his spin crack and pop rather loudly, since he didn't move an inch during his slumber. The dream catcher chime gently, making him slowly come to a stop to listen to the sound. Hestia was awake still, and watching little Tristam. "Up, then, Tristam? Are you hungry?" She tilts her head. Her voice was gentle, and kind. Some how, despite that, there was a slight hint of arrogance, but nothing terrible, just as if the one spoke had power, and knew it. His strange eyes watched Hestia, still a bit afraid, but remembering Albaria's words. Besides, she didn't seem all that bad now, maybe his sleepy head had distort some things. He didn't register the hint of arrogance. A gentle smile appeared on his muzzle "A little." Hestia stands, smiling down at him. "Come, I'll take you to the kitchen and find something to eat. Do you have any preferences?" She gently moves Albaria's sleeping form and opens the door. Tristam followed after her, tilting his head. "No, not really." He answer softly, tilting his head gently to one side, making his long mane trickle from his back and onto the right side. Hestia nods, leading him to the kitchen, and looks around. She heads to the fridge and gets out bread, some sliced meat, and some cheese. She carefully sets them on a counter, then manages to get a dish, and puts some of each of the items in it, and then sits back. "There we go." She puts the rest away. Tristam sat down once they went into the kitchen. His head tilted as he watched the other, curious of everything around. Since his partner was a wanderer, the young Ulaith was unaware of a lot of things that might seem common to others. "Go ahead, Tristam." She didn't know why he looked so curious, but if he was ready, so was the food. "We've plenty, it's been a good season... and Aria knows who to trade to for other supplies." Tristam blinked when his attention was taken back by her. He smiled and got up, walking up to the food. "Thank you." He said gently before he started to eat, listening. "You're welcome." She said fondly, and sits down, watching the little fellow. Aria was up in the front of the house, she knew, reading a book, and was unlikely to disturb either of them. Her tail twitches a little, rather like a cat's. The young Ulaith n** at the cheese and bread curiously. Both of them were slightly familiar to him, since Morpheus practically lived on cheese, bread and meat, besides blood, of course. He find it slightly harder to get both a piece of cheese, another of bread and n** of meat in his mouth at the same time, since he was trying to get the same mixture of favors he did when he stole little nibbles form the vampire's meals. He soon gave up on that and just ate normally. Once he was done, he let out a small burp. Hestia smiles, watching him eat, and gently teases him "You're supposed to say 'Excuse me' when you burp, lad." She then takes the empty dish and places it in the sink. "What would you like to do now?" Tristam blinked as he wagged his tail slowly behind him in a felineish way. "Really?" He truly looked as he had no idea. "Why?" His head tilted as he thought. "I want to go outside."He thought for a moment. "Please?" Since this wasn't Morpheus and could communicate, he thought he might as well be polite. Besides, she was nice...and much larger then him. "Because it's polite. Burping is considered impolite in society, generally, and therefor saying excuse me is being polite for doing so." She considers him, then says "Promise not to run off?" She arches a brow.. "I am not very trustworthy...am I?" He smiled sweetly. "I promise I won't" It didn't take a genius to figure out he couldn't neither out run nor loose her. "Really? But its a nature thing...why would you excuse yourself for something your body does naturely?" Hestia was a gentle sort, and would give everyone a chance. "Mmm thank you, Tristam." She tilts her head, pondering this. "Well... I don't know why, but it is the case. Perhaps because sometimes it causes unpleasant odors." "Your welcome." Tristam tilted his head a bit. "Oh....I guess I can understand that..." "Hestia....how do you speak with your mind..." Hestia smiles and leads him outside, and ponders his question. Finally, she answers. Do you hear me, speaking, silently, but in your mind so you can hear me? Focus on speaking that way to me, in my head, without sound. Tristam follow after her, taking a deep breath once they were outside, finding the house somewhat stuffy, since he was used to the outdoors. He froze as he heard the voice inside his head. He was disturb for a moment before looking at her. His brow wrinkle as he contretated, eyes narrow. ....like.....this....? his voice sounded far away. Tristam rubbed his head, finding it hard. Hestia watched him as he relaxed, then reacted to her voice. She smiles a little. Very. You need practice, but you're getting there. She smiles slowly, and leans her head down, and gently nuzzles the little fellow. Tristam smiled gently, nuzzling his head against her cheek and enjoying the attention. "So...could I talk to Morpheus that way?" Hestia gives him a gentle, motherly smile. "Oh yes. That's how most of us communicate with our chosen two-leggers. It's ever so much easier then to try to communicate via body language, and forget speach! Most humans just can't learn it." "Oh?" He smiled, thinking. It would take a while to get the hand of it, but it could work. He got up and looked around, looking for something or someone to play with. "Yes, it's a useful skill, there for. If you want to practice with me, you can." She sits, smiling.
Benjari suddenly tumbles out the door, laughing and squeaking happily. He was an energetic, cheerful little guy. Tristam tilted his head for a moment, nodding slowly before turning, hearing Benjari stumbling out. His head tilted at this. He concentrate as he looked towards Hestia. Whose.....that.....? Hestia notices Benjari and smiles. That's Benjari. You might have seen him, sleeping in the bed near yours when you went to bed. He's just abit older then you.
Benjari seems them and runs over, laughing happily. "Hi! I'm Benjari, who are you? Wanna play?" Tristam tilted his head a bit. ..Oh... The white Ulaith tilted his head at the energy of this one. Strangely, Benjari was making Tristam feel older then he was. "salutations." He smiled. "I am Tristam." His head tilted a bit. "Play what?" Hestia sits back, watching the two of them.
Benjari smiles. He was just a bundle of energy, unless he was asleep or sad(Rarely). "I dunno. Hide and seek? Tag?" His tail wags in his excited, playful mood. Hestia sits back, watching the two of them.
Benjari smiles. He was just a bundle of energy, unless he was asleep or sad(Rarely). "I dunno. Hide and seek? Tag?" His tail wags in his excited, playful mood. Tristam watched him for a moment before looking around then back. "Tag then." He pawed at Benjari before taking off. "You are it!" Benjari squeaks, then laughs and pelts after Tristam. "Weeeee!" He wasn't super coordinated, so he stumbled a few times, but he always laughed, picked himself back up and went after Tristam again, whole heartedly. Tristam laughed as he ran, his body moving rather graceful, since he was in an open area, rather then in the forest. He turned about and ran towards him before leaping over Benjari and running in the other direction. Benjari whirls, stumbling again, and he laughs as he tumbles down, then scrambles to his feet, chasing after Tristam. He didn't care if he lost, he was having too much fun. Tristam laughed and ran about Hestia, hiding behind her, making sure to keep her between him and Benjari. His tail wagging excitedly now.
Morpheus sat up on the bed, holding his head as he slowly thought of where he was. He shook his head, trying to wake up, his body sore for sleeping on a bed, since his body was used to the earth and trees by now. Benjari reacts by trying to scramble up and over Hestia, giggling as he slips and slides some.
Aria, at this point, was in the kitchen, working on some food, calmly. Tristam blinked, watching him before running off once again. He stop, tilting his head and chuckling.
Morpheus slowly felt around for his boots, finding them and putting them on. He got up and stretched, making his back pop. Slipping out of the room, he walked around until he found himself in the kitchen, rather wondering where Tristam might had been. "Morning...or...good afternoon..or anytime it might be..." Benjari LEAPS after Tristam and lands, tumbling and rolling, until his foot bumps Tristam's. He laughs a lot, despite the fact that that MUST have hurt.
Aria looks up, smiling at him. "Morning. You slept the night through." She pauses, gets a listening look, then smiles. "Your lad is outside, playing with my Benjari. Hestia is watching both. Are you hungry? Or... hungry?" Tristam stumbled and tumbled, rolling over. His body stop and laughed loudly, swishing his tail from side to side. He manage to calm down and looked at the other. "You okey?"
Morpheus raises an eyebrow for a moment, thinking he would like to see that before his attention was nap back by the question. ".....hungry..." Benjari stands up and laughs, smiling, then looks himself over. "Yeah! A coupla cuts and bruises, I'm fine!" One got the impression he was used to this, and given his level of coordination... he probably was.
Aria ponders him, and turns to the fridge, getting out a bottle of juice for herself. "How much do you need? I can get... animal... if needed, or..." She gestures at her neck, where a few sets of silvery scars made it clear she had been a 'donor' before. Tristam stood up, shaking off the dirt from his white skin. He smiled and tilted his head at the other before shrugging. "If you say so."
Morpheus put his hands before him and waved them. "eeeh...that won't be nessesary. Animal blood does the trick just fine." It unnerve him when someone actually offered their own blood, even if it wasn't often. A difference from other vampires, there was no differences in bloods to his system. Benjari shakes himself off as well. "I do! I trip and fall alot!" He laughs, apparently amused at himself. "I'm klutzy, what can I say? But at least I have fun."
Aria nods. "All right. I got used to it, as a younger person, feeding the cousins..." She smiles a little, sighing, not talking about her history much, and her teeth are visible. She clearly has unusually sharp canines, but not fangs, like many who are only distantly related, which... is usually folk in royal or noble families, for some reason. Tristam smiled and nodded. "That's good."
Morpheus rubbed the back of his neck. "I...see...not really, but, I'll pretend I understand that statement." He had picked up on her canines, but didn't question them, since some were born like that without real reason. "I'll take the animal blood, really." Benjari giggles and nods. "Now what? You wanna get somethin' or what?"
She nods, and says "Be right back, then,." She gets a small knife and a cup, and heads out. When she returns, the cup is full and she puts the knife in the sink, offering him the cup. "Um...Sure" He chuckled and wagged his tail slowly.
Morpheus took the cup and smiled. "Thank you." He drank the content, happily, once the cup was drain, he put it down, licking his teeth clean. Benjari smiles and leads him inside. "I'm thirsty, let's get something to drink!"
Aria nods, and drinks the juice quickly, then looks, seeing Benjari coming. Tristan nodded and got up, walking after him.
Morpheus watched Benjari, tilting his head a bit before seeing Tristam coming in after him. Benjari smiles and looks up at Aria. Milk! Or juice! We're thirsty!
Aria laughs. "Sounds like we have some thirsties. All right Benjari." She gets out two bowls and a thing of apple juice, and pours them in the bowls, before setting them down. Tristam smiled, watching Benjari and Aria. "..." He looked at Morpheus and sit down, concentrating. The young Ulaith's tail twisted, curling and coiled rapidly as he tried to get a simple message across.............hi........ His voice just a very faint far away echo.
Morpheus blinked several times, resting a hand on his head. "What the...."
Tristam squeak and smiled, wagging his tail. Aria turns, after setting the bowls down. "They were thirty, that's what." She looks confused, not knowing what was going on in his head.
Benjari runs to his bowl and begins drinking, shooting a thought back to Tristam. Come on! Apple juice! It's the best! Morpheus keeps blinking. "No..not that....." Rubs the back of his neck.
Tristam squeaks again and goes after Benjari, walking up to the bowl and starting to happily drink. "Well then what?" She blinks, studying Morpheus. She was leaning on the counter now, her eyes concerned. "I'm unable to help if you don't tell me."
Benjari's tail is wagging as he drinks his juice. Whadja do? I can tell they're all up in a flap about somethin! Tristam wagged his tail as well as he lapped the juice, thought had to stop to send the message back to Benjari. I..contacted...him...like this....
Morpheus sighed. "I heard a voice saying 'hi'. It was...faint..." Benjari blinks a little, then realizes what's up. Oh, still learnin, huh? Awesome. First time talkin to him? His tail wags faster then before.
"OH! Wonderful. That was probably Tristam. He's begun to learn! I'd hoped one of my dears would be able to show him. They've had practice at this point." She smiles happily. Morpheus let out a soft sigh of relief. "For a moment I thought I had really lost my mind..."He chuckled gently and looked at Tristam. "That's good..."
Tristam smiles and nodded in response before going back to drinking. Aria moves over and pats his shoulder. "No, no! Mind speech, how these guys generally communicate with us humanoids." She nods and then goes over and begins to brew some tea, it being her preferred beverage over coffee. Morpheus smiled a bit. "I see...I take it that they can only communicate with their bonded, since Albaria did not contact me in such..manner. Right?"
Tristam finish up with the bowl and walked over to Morpheus, sitting down at his feet and looking up at him. .....did...I...scare...you...?....
Morpheus chuckled and nodded at him, gaining happy squeak out of him. "Hey....." He gave the Ulaith a playful glare. Aria leans back as the water heats, thinking. "Well... far as I know. I've never heard otherwise. They can contact each other that way, I do know that... But beyond that... I'm not at all sure... Gods, probably, can contact whomever, I'd assume, though I don't know about Demi Gods. Hestia hasn't done so, certainly, and if..." Her voice trembles a bit. "If Athena has, it's been since she... she left."
Benjari looks up at the word Athena and just shudders, then finishes his juice. Morpheus raised an eyebrow at Benjari. "Athena...?"
Tristam tilted his head. "What happen to Athena anyways...?" He looked over to Benjari. Benjari shudders all over and whispers "She went mad..."
Aria sighs and looks down. "She is... was... I'm not sure, exactly, if she's still connected to me or not. She, like Hestia, is a demi-goddess. And she went insane. One male insulted her... Never insult those ladies, bad idea... and the other... played her. She... Hestia saved their lives, but Athena ran... we don't know where she is, what she's doing, or if she's... ok..." Tristam blinked and lowered his head. "o-okay..."
Morpheus put his hands in his pockets, thinking. ". . . . .I see. . . I think" His head tilted. ".......I demand a change of subject?"
