Rules: The Basics Of Fandom
Here are a few basic rules that you need to observe while fangirling (or fanboying) over your favorite animes and manga.
Rules
1. Be Nice!- Everyone has different opinions, and you need to respect them, even if they don't share the same interests as you.
2. Be Open- You are entitled to not liking something, but shooting down an anime/manga is not allowed unless it has a valid reason behind it. If you've never watched an anime, give it a try before you decide to complain about it.
3. Be Attentive- Yaoi talk belongs in the yaoi forums and yuri in the yuri forums. If someone has specified that their forum does NOT contain yaoi, please do not discuss yaoi there. Also note: Hentai should not be discussed at all.
4. Be Original- We do NOT need ten billion forums devoted to the Naruto, so try to be original when creating threads.
5. Be Considerate- Everyone knows how much it can hurt to accidently read a spoiler on an anime or manga when you haven't finished it yet, so, if you're posting something that's a spoiler, specify it's a spoiler, then post it in white, so people have the option of reading it or not.
6. HAVE FUN!!- Anime is all about the fun! whee
