Also known as the Demon Moon. It orbits around onderon. At the time of the role play, it has gone from being an inhospitable forest of toxic death, to a hellish forest infused with the dark side. Every year during summer the demon moon's atmosphere and that of onderon meet. During this time great winged predators migrate down from the demon moon and hunt upon the greater bounty of food on onderon. Notable sites: -The well of darkness. A spring of darkside energies that is on the demon moon. It is said that going anywhere near it can drive one insane. Entering it...well, that's a whole 'nother bag of hell. -The tomb of Freedon Nadd. Sith Lord. Crazy Guy. Lots of Sith Artifacts inside. The tomb is made of Mandolorian Iron. There's no way in freakin hell you're getting in here without the key.

Coming out of hyperspace, Darth ruin turned to his soon to be apprentice. " When the ceremony is over you will be rid of the weak emotions that hold you back from embracing the darkness. It is at that time that you will take up the mantle of my apprentice. You will then be given a cape as symbol of your position. And an amulet to blast those who would defy your word. Keep in mind. You will not be as strong as I am. When you are, you will know how to perform this dark ceremony. At that time I want you to come to me and make sure you have the ceremony correct. Then do your best to slay me. If you fail, I'll kill you and find a new apprentice. If you succeed, you will take on an apprentice of your own. These are the words my master told me when we performed this ceremony. "
As he spoke, The ship they were in landed on the demon moon. When it landed, the jungle around the ship quivered and seemed to grow towards the ship ever so slightly. Darth ruin lowered the cargo ramp and got his lightsaber ready. " It will be a difficult path to the fountain. Be ready to do combat with the moon itself to gain entrance."

Darth Zeram had listened to all his soon to be master had to say, taking in every word, and processing it to memorization. The Sith Lord could barley stand the excitement; it was as if he could feel the power surging through him already. Though they were far from the fountain, just knowing of the power that laid there made him feel stronger. All these thoughts filled the mind of Zeram until he walked off the ramp. The heeding words of his soon to be master rang through his ears. The Sith Lord quickly snapped back into reality and held his lightsaber at the ready, and began examining his environment. The dark side was strong here; it seemed to surround the moon in a dark shroud. This pleased Darth Zeram, as he breathed in its power like a vacuum, using to enhance his own.
Darth Zeram turned to look at Darth Ruin who had already been walking, and quickly caught up with the Dark Lord. He stood behind his soon to be master in respect, following him to where the fountain lay. Curiosity filled the mind of the young Sith Lord, and as he began to open his mouth to ask a question, a loud roar came from the deep dark forest. Darth Zeram quickly drew his attention to where it came from, in out of the blue; a large boma came charging at him! Darth Zeram gave the boma a quick smirk, and raised his hand up and fired a lethal stream of lightening at it. The boma was hit hard, and with a few fidgets on the ground, it died. The Sith Lord made a little chuckle and spoke in a simple tone, “Childs play,” and kept on moving along with the Dark Lord.

Darth Ruin smirked, " Are you going to waste so much power against such opponents this entire time? We've still got a ways to go. If you keep doing that you're going to fall over dead from exhaustion before you can even get to the entrance. Remember...killing is an art. Weaker foes don't deserve your most powerful attacks. Some don't even deserve your time."
As he spoke, Darth ruin waved his hand in front of himself. He didn't manipulate the force as he did so, however the jungle around them parted into a pathway. " Fear. One of the primary instincts. One of the bases of darkside power. Never underestimate it's uses."
Throughout the rest of the trip, Zeram would be able to hear the cries of various monstrosities that lived upon the Demon moon. However, they always kept their distance. As if The Dark Lord was producing a field that they could not pass through.

Darth Zeram payed attention to hiw words and took note to each one. This journey was turning out to be a dangerous one indeed, but everyone likes little bit of a challenge every now and then. When the Dark Lord raised his hand in the air, at first, Zeram was confused, but within a moment, a new path appeared before them. The Sith Lord eyes opened wide with somewhat suprise, but he quickly brushed away his awe, and once again listened to what the Dark Lord had to say. Zeram seemed to slowly learn that each new step he takes in the forest, a new lesson is taught. Now that he was getting used to it, everything sounded like it was going to go smoothly...atleast, so he thought. *** Within an hours time, which seemed like forever, the duo reached the entrance to the so called 'fountain'. Darth Zeram was unimpressed, it seems the Sith of Old were not as decorative as thought. It was just a big dark cave, but Darth Zeram could sense the danger that lay ahead. There were...'things' that surronded the cave, and the idea of going in the cave, without knowing the threat that stood infront of them made a little chill run down Zerams spine. The soon to be apprentice, looked at his soon to be master, awaiting approval to enter.

Darth Ruin said nothing to Zeram. Instead, he strode past the entrance like he owned the place. His gait was calm and his footsteps echoed. His form quickly disappeared into the cave. From within, Zeram heard, " enter now apprentice. If you can truely be called such."
The first part of the cave was crawling with orbalisks. A type of creature that was about the size of a man's hand, but fed upon the dark side. They looked like a scale from a large dragon, and their hard shell would resist the blade of a lightsaber. Did I mention the poison? oh yeah...the poison kills normal people pretty quick. Dark side users are somewhat more resistant to it though.

Darth Zeram nodded and, took a deep breath and began to walk into the cave. As soon as he entered, he ignited his lightsaber in order to see where he was going. He looked around him, the cave seemed to be empty…but he could still sense these small creatures. Another thing was, it looked like your ordinary cave, just a dark tunnel that seems to lead to no where. He began to slowly walk through the cave, until he heard something drop behind him. He looked to see a small creature on the ground, squirming like a turtle when it tries to flip itself over. The Sith Lord pointed his saber at the creature and examined it small legs and its little mouth, there was something different about this thing. Then something seemed to hit him, not literally, but figuratively. A small chill went down his spine as he looked up to find the whole ceiling of the cave full of them. Darth Zerams eyes opened wide, as they began to all fall rapidly, they were trying to get on him! The Sith Lord didn’t waste a moment, using the force to give him superhuman speed; he blasted through the cave, not turning back until he reached the end where his master would be waiting for him.
Within moments, he reached the end of the cave, to find….a glorious room with a fountain in the middle. This must have been the root of all the dark side energies on this part of the moon, making the creatures go insane. The Sith Lord looked around him, but saw no sign of his master. He called out, “My Lord, where are you!?” hoping he had not been betrayed or abandoned.

Darth Ruin was nowhere to be seen. Instead, the fountain, the entire cave became hazy. The area around Zeram disappeared. In it's place appeared piles of treasure. Sith artifacts. A room materialized around him. There was a window to the room, and outside of it lay korriban. However it was a changed korriban. There were armies walking through the streets of a high tech city. Zeram's face was emblazoned upon the buildings. Banners hung from every place they could, Zeram's face upon them. As he looked around the room, he would find only one other person inside of it. His mother.
She looked at him sadly, and said, " You have to give this up Son. There will be no good coming from this power. To become ruler of this empire you will have to strike me down." As she spoke, a tear crawled down her cheek. "Please, give up."
The scene then changed. The magnificence that he had only just begun to take in rearranged. Zeram was standing on an empty side of the room, and behind his mother was the treasure, the window, the artifacts. Joining these were a bevy of beautiful women. Zeram's mother was asking him to give up his chance at these. Or so it seemed.

Darth Zeram was in awe as the sceneray changed all around him, he soon realized, this was all a vision...a test. the Sith Lord looke dou tthe window to find an army....his army. The Sith Lord than turned from the window to dfind what was....his mother. Her face filled with tears as she begged him to renounce the dark side, and give up all of this. Darth Zeram looked at her, she was pitiful, sad, and all together telling him that what he has become, is evil. Darth Zeram thought for amoment, staring at her face, and if it was truly worth it to give up all of this, in turn for a family.
All he had been in his life was a tool of someone else, a slave not only to the hutts, but to the galaxy. All of these expeirences made him who he is, an all powerful Sith Lord. He did not need a family to make him who he is, he did not need the love of a mother, he has himself, and thats all he needs. Darth Zeram took one final look at her, he was emotionless, and was willing to show no mercy. "Fool, I don't need your pity excuses of so called 'redemption'! You mean nothing to me, and that is forever how you will remain...nothing!" and with those final words, he drew his lightsaber and decapitated her head with no hesitation, no regrets.

((note: there's a bunch of white because it's not pg 13. If you highlight and read it, that's your choice. Don't complain if you do choose to read it. ))
As Zeram's blade cut through his mother's image, he could feet the cut. For in the illusion he was not wielding a lightsaber, but the a Sith Sword. The Sword sliced into her flesh and gore exploded out from her neck, covering the blade and soaking Zeram. The head rolled along the floor, tears falling from the eyes as life left it.
The Headless body slumped to the floor and lay on the ground. Motionless and bleeding. The illusion persisted for ten minutes after wards. However, It was long enough to give Zeram second thoughts. Whispers creeped into his mind. Perhaps he had actually killed his mother. Perhaps it wasn't an illusion. Maybe he had just slain his only loved one. After the minutes ticked by, each an eternity unto itself, the illusion faded. Zeram was standing alone in the cavern.
((go ahead and make a response post, The next one is coming up.))

Darth Zeram faced the body of his mother, his Sith Sword cover in blood, and his robes also covered. He walked over to the body, and stuck the sword into it, his once emotionless face was now full of hate. He no longer cared if this was real or not, he did not need love, all he needed now was himself. Power, it is now what he has, and all he needs. he was now ruler of the Sith, atleast in this vision, and no longer cared for friends or family. Darth Zeram looked down at the body once again, and saw an odd looking neckalace around his mothers body. He picke dup the neckalace, and put it on. He did not care what was written on it, just the fact that it was his personal trophy for giving up love, or warm hearted feelings.
Darth Zeram turned to the women who lied with the treasure and smiled to them, "Well, now that this problem has been taken care of, I want you to show your loyality to me now!". Within moments, the women came to him, surronded him, and before anything happend, the vision seemed to twirl back into the cave.

After a few minutes, the scenery changed once more. This time Zeram was reduced to a floating conciousness. The scene was one in which, should he try to participate, he would simply pass through. The beings within the scene also failed to hear him.
The rest of this post will be pm'd to kaze. As it is not in the least pg 13 and I really don't want to be banned.

Darth Zeram was soon twisted into the vision again, and soon found himself in a great horrer. It was a true nightmare, there so much pain, so much torture, all of it focused on him. This imagination felt as if it was a deformed reality. Those who were conducting all of these shots of pain, words of torture, were both his beloved and his hated. Lord Zerams decapitated head did the talking, while Darth Z did the bloody work. In the begining, Zeram had lasted pretty well, but his will is just not strong enough. Much like the Embrace of Pain, the illusion had made Zeram go completly insane.
While all of this was happening in his mind, in reality, he was on the ground fidgiting on the ground, loads of fizz mixed with bloodcoming out his mouth. It seemed as if his insanity might be the end of him....

Darth ruin strolled casually over to zeram's foaming body. He lifted the soon to be apprentice into his arms and carried the man over to an empty, cavernous hole. Ruin then began to chant as he held zeram's body aloft. As the chanting echoed through the cave symbols lit up all around the dank hole. A vortex of swirling energies came into being in the hole, and Ruin threw his apprentice into them. As he did, the energies shot up and passed through Zeram. The energies revealed themselves to be the moaning tormented spirits of the sith. The first spirit to hit into zeram had issues passing through him. His body fell down about ten feet into the hole before the spirit pushed through and ripped a portion of zeram's soul out. With each sith spirit that followed there was less difficulty in it's passing, with less being torn from zeram each time. Eventually, it got to the point where nothing was taken out of zeram, and instead his body was lifted back up to the edge of the pit. All the while Darth Ruin chanted in an obscure tongue.
When Zeram was placed upon the edge of the pit, the spirits of the fountain swirled at the roof of the cave. Darth Ruin then lowered his arms to his sides, his chanting slowing to a stop. As the chanting ended, the spirits dove back down into the hole from wence they had come. And they took this with them: Zeram's capacity to do good. Zeram's capacity to love. Zeram's capacity to have empathy or compassion for others. The spirits left his mind broken, and his soul shattered. It would be up to zeram to pull himself together and reconstruct himself. If he failed, he would die. His soul and mind would depart from the world of the living, and his body would rise as a twisted abomination.
While Zeram's mind worked to keep itself from dissipating, Darth Ruin carried his apprentice out of the cave and back to the ship. It would be during the 12 hour flight back to korriban that Zeram would have to prove himself. A success, or a failure. Only time would tell.

As the vision continued in Zerams mind, unbeknownst to him, The Dark Lord Ruin had picked him up and dropped him in a pit, which was actually the so called ‘fountain’ that they had been searching for. As Darth Zeram was falling, the vision continued, and it seemed as if the so called ‘fountain’ was doing nothing. Though it may have looked like nothing was going to happen, the second nightmare was just beginning, and this one was going to be much more destructive than the last one.
As the torture resumed in Zerams mind, something odd and abrupt happened. The pain that Z was causing stopped, giving the young Sith Lord a short realif to the genocide of his sanity. The blood covered face of Zeram looked to find Z's body hanging from the blade of a Sith Sword. Within moments, the blade was quickly removed from Z, and as his corpse fell to the ground, it turned into blood. Though that whole fact of what had happened was surprising enough, but the figure that stood with the blade was a dead Sith Lords spirit, giving him a ghastly form of a smile. Zeram managed to move his body up enough to see one of the other Sith spirits pulling his blade out of the head of his mother, and she too became blood. The same Sith spirit that killed Z gave a little chuckle, and put his hand up, drawing all the blood on the ground into one small ball. The Sith spirit looked at him for one last second, then turned around and threw it at the wall that was his mind, and the blood began to spread into a swirl, until everything changed.
The twirling made Zerams mind blank out for a moment, until a voice spoke up saying, "Wake up child," making his mind reset to a new location, with Zeram slowly opening his eyes to realize where they were; the Valley of the Dark Lords. There were five Sith surrounding him, each carrying a Sith Sword. Darth Zeram was on his knees, waiting for what would be his end. Each Sith Lord said a few words to him, Zeram got very little of it, the only comment he could really understand was, "So this is the apprentice of Ruin eh? Well, he has picked a strong one, but this child has too many faults...he must be fixed," and the rest was blurry. After they finished their speech, they all let out a war cry, and slashed at a different part of his body, destroying which parts of his soul they didn't like. Immediately when this process began, Zerams mind went black.
Zerams mind reactivated again, this time into an endless world of white. He stood up, body intact, but his mind was surly not. The only thing in this blank world, were scrabbled letters, all of these letters were meant to become the foundation of his new mind. The Sith Lord began to pick up each letter, making words that would make sense for a true Sith. First he made the word 'hate', and when the word was made, it flew up into the air becoming one with his mind, a first step down to the true Zeram had just been made.
***
After what seemed to be an eternity in his mind, which in reality was only 6 hours on his way back to Korriban, he had made a whole bunch of words. Looking for more ways to finish with what he had left, Zeram spelled the word 'evil', and when he did this it rose into the air but instead of joining the others, it floated there idly, until the word began to move, and the screams of thousands of innocents murdered in the galaxy came out all at once. This wrong move, in reality, made the real Zeram spit out just about a pint of blood, the medical droids in the ship doing nothing sue to orders from Ruin. Back in his mind, after the screams, the word floated back down to the ground, becoming letters once again. As soon as it did land, the inner Zeram began to search for more words to create with these letters once again. ((To those of you who are offended by this post, I will take it off if I must, I wish to make no one queasy. Another thing, the reason evil made those noises, is because so do not believe they are evil, they believe they are the true cause, and the Jedi are evil))
