 Popai walked into the stadium for the second time in his life. With shining eyes, he believed that he'll win this time with the help of his Pokemon, Curse. "I believe in you, Curse! Now get out and give it all you've got!" He threw out the Red and white Pokeball from his pocket and out came a black, floating ghost.

Piney stepped to the battling field, clutching her only Pokeball tightly. It was her first battle and she was extremely nervous. "Fai! I choose you!" She yelled and threw the Pokeball into the air. A small blue dragon landed on the ground feeling as nervous as her trainer. "Thunder Wave attack! Now!" Fai nodded and released odd lightning bolts at the Gastly. ((8 damage done?))

"Yikes!" said Popai. "That must've hurt. Are you okay Curse?" Popai asked nervously. Curse nodded and prepared to attack. "Curse, Lick, now!" Curse opened his mouth and lunged at his opponent. HP: 22/30 4 Damage done to opponent.

Piney made a slight 'ew' face as the Gastly licked Fai. "Don't worry Fai! We're still winning! Use Dragon Rage!" The Dratini shook the spit off of her and spewed blue fire from her mouth. ((HP: 31/35 1 damage done))

The blue fire hit Curse, but luckily, it didn't hurt that much. "It's fine! It's not over 'til it's over. Now, hit her with Night Shade! Curse layed a dark illusion over Fai and laughed evilly. HP: 21/30 5 Damage done to opponent.

Fai somehow tripped over herself and landed on her back from the Night Shade. "Fai!" Piney shouted out behind her. "Don't be discouraged! Give him a Twister attack!" She twirled herself around rapidly until a large tornado appeared and flew right at Curse. ((HP: 26/35 7 damage done))

Fai stared at the dark pulsing sphere wide-eyed before being slammed to the ground. Piney winced at the sight and shouted, "It's going to be all right! Use a Wrap attack on the Gastly!" Fai stretched her body and jumped at Curse, coiling herself around him and squeezing. ((HP: 24/35 8 damage done))

Curse shrieked and gasped hard, before being let go. He screamed a little, and waited for Popai's order. "Ugh!" Thought Popai. "We may lose, but we can try! Let's do it, and believe in yourself, Curse! Use Scary Face!" Curse disappeared, and came with gigantic, scary eyes. It was glowing red, with a little evil mixed into it. HP: 6/30 2 Damage to Opponent

Fai trembled and squeaked under the Scary face and tripped over backwards, landing on the hard floor with a thud.
Piney was frightened by Curse's Scary Face as well, but didn't let it show. She could see that he was beginning to weaken, and Fai didn't have to suffer much longer.
"Finish this battle with a Leer attack!" She commanded.
The Dratini growled and gave her opponent a menacing glare of her own.

"Eek!" Gastly screamed. He didn't realize how frightening it was until he tripped and rolled around on the floor. Popai shrieked in the inside, but didn't show it because of the attention. "Cu-Curse..." Popai whispered. He shook his head and restarted. "Curse. Use Bite!" Curse opened his mouth where his teeth showed and prepared to bite Fai. HP: 4/30 7 Damage.

"No! Fai!" Piney screamed as Curse bit the said Dratini in a weak spot. When he released her, Fai was quite dizzy and moved around in strange circles. "It'll be over in a flash!" She said. "Hang in there! Rage attack!" Fai snapped out of her temporary dizziness and lunged at Gastly, surrounded in angry red flames. ((HP: 15/35 3 damage done))

Curse shrieked when attacked. "Get up Curse. Try your best, even though you're so tired! If you can, try using glare!" Curse felt the rage of Fai when he got up. He was terribly injured, and needed to heal. He tried his best anyway, and two big eyes glared evilly at Fai. HP: 1/30 1 Damage
