Oh my. What was that smell?

The tall boy sniffed, his hands shoved into pockets.

Imagine that. Even a city as dirty and disgusting as this one had it's perks. It was....floral? FLORAL?

Sei blinked, and stared into the city, almost marveling at the size. So long as he trusted his nose...he wouldn't get lost. Putting one foot in front of the other, he set off in a dreary mood. This city was nothing like where he came from.

His home town could almost have been called...cheery. It was very small. And the people were very open minded. Not like the wolf killers in the big cities. The wolf sighed, his grey eyes closing. Too bad he was doomed to wander. It might have been nice to settle down.

A sarcastic smile touched his lips. Yeah, right. Settle down? And miss all the fun?

The smell was exactly what his family had described. Perfect, comforting...it gave you a feeling of hope. He knew what the scent was. But he believe it's message?

He snorted, and opened his eyes, concentrating on newly difficult action of walking. Flowers and Paradises. Children's tales! Stories made up for the pups when they cried of cold and hunger at night. Sei remembered being told the stories.

But he shook his head, and kept moving. He wanted to be there. Eventually, that smell would draw them out into the open, and then ensnare their senses...perhaps leaving them open to attack? It would be amusing to see them fend off a couple dozen police officers. The stupid wolves...his brethren. The believers. He almost felt bad. Almost.

Sei stopped, suddenly weary. He crawled into an alley, and soon a big ginger wolf stood in the dark haired boys place. He crawled behind a box, and settled down to nap, if he could. Sei was worried. There was an absence of something in this city...something that should have been important to him. But he couldn't figure out quite what it was.

ooc..
I was bored.

OOC: Very nice..wait and see mine...

re arms sounded in the background as a group of older and some younger boys ran on their heels. Lead by a tall white haired man, they were chased down the allies of the town.

"Move it or loose it!" Tsume yelled out as he never looked behind to check if everyone was still following him. He was the fasted out of all and even the cars had trouble catching up. The groupd reached the great tree, or they would call home. Tsume took his share of the goods as all the other men and younger boys sat away from their great leader.

He ripped at the meat and devoured each chunck with ease. Since he was wolf by blood and looked human to who'm he witch to see him as. Tsume laid back on the cold cement and stared up at the blank grey sky. Wondering if he would ever find something more.

Her dainty human form sauntered carelessly through the streets. On her porcelain face was her usual uninterested expression. She wasn't so much as, emotionless.. But nothing ever seemed to amuse her. She was never the social type, even as a whelp. Eh, that didn't matter now, did it? No, she didn't think so.

She glanced at the people pass her by. This place.. this town was so dead. Didn't these humans realize that they did the same routine every single day? Apparently not.

A small sigh was unleashed as Esse made her agile way through the confusing streets. It didn't concern her in the least when she happened to get lost. Wherever she was, she could sustain herself. She knew how to adapt. That was her kind's specialty, no? They'd had done it for this long, so surely she could survive a different home every time she wandered somewhere unfamliar.

Her attention was suddenly directed towards the scent of meat. It had been quite the while since she had laid her lips on a decent meal. Perhaps it was a dead rat? Or even better, a bird!

Essedevi began to run slowly, so it would appear that she was running normally to the idiotic humans. The scent in her nostrils soon lead her to a desolate location. Huh. This didn't seem right. Esse looked up to see some faint green. A tree, all the way up there? Well, she had to eat something.

Breathing in deeply, Esse jumped stories high towards the tree. Landing on a window sill, then continuing upwards. As she landed on the roof, she lightly gasped at the sight of so many men. Then a new scent waffed by her. A wolf was here as well? But where? She curiously looked at the bodies who appeared to be all humans.

Which one could be the wolf? She couldn't pinpoint the scent.. there were too many humans covering it up. Patiently, but still puzzled, Esse rested her knees on the pavement, looking each one over, wondering which was the fellow wolf. If she were to be tooken as a spy of sorts, she could then easily escape.. Hopefully.

Ooc neutral | Sorry if it sucks.. -_-'

As soon as Tsume layed down , he perked right back up sensing another body watching over his 'pack'. He sat upright looking around and counting the heads of the boys behind him.

"All accounted for. Then what is that wierd feeling." Tsume thought as he now stood with his hands to his hips looking straight at Esse. Eyes narrowing in thought , he let out growl . Making his men jump to their feet.

"Boss?" A little red headed boy asked walking up to Tsume, curious what he was stairing at. But then the boy was just pushed back from where he stood. Tsume didn't really cared if the boy got hurt from this other wolf but he needed enough men to go on their next hunt.

Her patient stares of curiousity were soon interrupted by a white-haired man who stared at her with obviously displeased eyes. She flinched at the growl as a gasp swept past her lips. After a few moments of thinking, she then relaxed and smiled gingerly, cocking her head to the side.

Essedevi kept her small smile as the young human child moved his way closer to the wolf. It was funny how these humans trusted this hessian so well. She wondered if they actually knew their 'boss' was one of mankind's enemies.

The wolfess' eyes grew wider as the wolf kept the boy from getting anywhere near her or the possible danger if they were to quarrel. No doubt this wolf would win. She was but a juvenile, and he seemed quite capable of shredding anyone in his path.

After awhile of deep thought, Esse giggled sweetly at the sight that lay before her. Still on her knees, she clasped her hands together in a friendly matter. "Aw. Do you hang around them for company, I assume?" She asked curiously with her wolf voice, so only Tsume could understand.

She then lifted her finger to scratch her nose in thought. "Oh perhaps you only want to eat them.. I wonder." She stared thoughtfully at the cement then shrugged with a deep sigh, giving up on trying to understand why this wolf was around so many humans. "Eh, they aren't very appetizing though, no?"

Still with an innocent smile, she arose to her feet with a sympathetic expression as to be pitied. "Anyways, I just lingered by for some food. Have any left? I'm starving.." She said uncomfortably as she tenderly wrapped her arms around her stomach for emphasis.

Tsume laughs alittle as he walked forwards toward Esse. In his hand was a small rabbit that had a giant bite mark in it.He waved it infront on Esse then through it at the young wolf. Tsume was far enough the others couldn't hear him talking in wolf.

"Thoses humans followed me. I have nothing with them except getting bite to eat every time we raid those darn Jagger cars." he said pushing his black shade up the bridge of his nose.

It been a long time since he has seen any other wolf since he had left his old pack. But he didn't want to start seeing them and just wanted Esse to go find someone else to bug. Even though now he had go feeling inside telling him to keep this one wolf close .

Tsume shrugs," You going to sit up there all day? Come down .."he said walking off licking the blood of his hands.

"Stop being like that. Its not like it s real dog," commented Tansei as he once again tried to put the ilegded 'hot dog' into Haruki's hands. Did she actually think it was canine?

"Are you kidding me?! The thing has the name dog in it! I am not a cannibal," Haruki retorted, stubbornly crossing her arms and turned her head away. Yep...she sure did think it...

Tansei grummbled and then sighed, taking a bite out of it himself. He watched as Haruki made an 'O' shaped mouth out of shock, and wittly stuck a piece of it in it. That'll show her.

Haruki coughed, swalloing it slowly, and looked up to him, staring blankly.
"It...doesn't taste like a dog," she said, as if she had made a new discovery. Tansei came back with a 'duh' comment and made his expression change to that of a crazy guy. She scowled by this action, and angrily chewed on the hot dog she was given.

Tansei shook his head and looked across from them to see a pug who was staring at them. it growled, like it could hurt anything, until Tansei growled back, his tail raised, and lips curled back. The pug shrinked behind a garbage can, whimpering by the intemidation it had gotten from the large black and white wolf. He rolled his eyes to the small dog, still having not left his human form.

Although the teasing of waving the meat back and forth right infront of her face wasn't appreciated, she kept her comments within her mind. She was not keen on being rude to a fellow elder wolf who happened to have food with him. What sort of guest would she be then? Obviously, not a very good nor polite one.

Essedevi joyfully caught it as it was thrown to her. Without thinking of what she could possibly revealing, she bit into it, holding it firmly with her hands that clenched the carcuss rather roughly. Ripping the muscle and fat from the bone, she ate it with a bright smile. Yes, it was indeed much too long since she had laid lips on such fresh meat.

A grimance formed as the young wolfess thought of how humans could dare spoil the treat and taste of meat by freezing and cooking it. How revolting to do such a sin. She kept greedily chewing at the corpse while he answered her question of why he was exactly hanging around so many humans. She suddenly ceased feasting and froze, looking at him as he spoke of Jagura. Esse then moved her head down towards the dismembered hare. "I have no interest in meddling with Jagura or her minions. She's a waste of breath to me.. to us."

The word 'us' was obviously spoken to refer to fellow wolven. There was hardly any point to chase that sinister lady and cause a deeper canyon of hatred between her and wolves. At least, that's what Essedev thought. What good could come of trying to stop her? She was unstoppable. It was impossible to convert her mind of what she thought of the mother of canids. She didn't like wolves, wolves didn't like her. And it didn't seem as though things would be changing any time soon.

Her head looked up as he spoke again. A curious look was given before she jumped down a few feet behind him. "Do you really think there's a possibility.. of.. Paradise?" It was hard for her to speak such words. She had lost belief somewhat, but it was hard to let go of such an important legend to her kind. Esse was looking offwards towards the horizon, several scents of other wolven in her sensitive nares. Was it just a silly myth, or a reality of refuge?

Black lips curled over white fangs in a yawn, and Sei was awake. He pushed with his feet, and sat on his haunches, yawning again.

He kept to his wolf from, and meandered down the alley, sleepily trying to sort out his thoughts. After a few moments of wandering through the long alley, he came upon a busy street. He paused, bathed in shadow, an deliberated.

'Screw it.'

He stepped out into the street, and try to sneak along as best as a wolf could. Luckily, he only got a few fearful stares.

The wolf continued on, until a certain scent entered his nostrils. 'Wolves.'

"You young wolves dream to much about this paradise. Nothing but worthless stories." Tsume spoke as he sat down in the hole that was in the tree. No one else would go in it without his permission. It was Tsume den and only his. With a full enough stomach , Tsume layed against the back of the trunk and stared bluntly at the young wolf.

Should he believe that this paradise was still a myth or start believing that it truly exsisted. He stuck with keeping it as a myth, a fairy tale, something only you would dreamed off believing .The scent of more wolves stung his nostrels as he sniffed at the air.

'More wolves?' he thought as the scent got stronger.

After finishing their meal, both Tansei and Haruki walked off, coming upon a large tree in the middle of the town, and a group of people under it. Tansei's nostrils were filled with the scent of one, no, two wolves right there. He eyed the two there curiously, deciding to stop here for the moment.

Haruki too had noticed the scent of camrades, looking to them and waved no chalantlly(sp?). She didn't want to make a scene, seeing as how the two were surrounded by humans, it wouldn't be a good idea to just go and do what wolves do. Instead, she stayed beside Tansei as they rested for the moment.
