So with the intention of just finding some old boxes or antique type things to revive and make use to. [found a very nice hat box and a can full of awesome buttons!] I located this old flower printed box. When I looked inside I found PATTERNS!!! I looked through them and presto! THE PERECT LOLITA PATTERN! I'm not over-exaggerating either. Sorry for the crappy sideways cell pictures, I was too excited and lazy to find my camera. Even the blouse patterns look to be of great to use! I'm a noob at sewing and patterns, but man I have pretty nice beginner's luck o_o I'm not sure if they sell these patterns anymore, all I know is its McCall's 6332 I think the sizes are too small for me because it says Size A (6, 8, 10) I bet I can modify the patterns to fit me. I'm not planning to use them just yet because I'm new with all this. I don’t know if there is any way I could scan these or make some kind of copy for you all crying but what I get out of these patterns, whether it be tips, techniques, or anything like that I’ll be sure to give to you guys if needed o_o

I'm not a big fan of the ruffely collar on the shirts, but dang are those good skirts and puffy sleeves! And the shirt in itself is great if the collar is ditched ((in my opinion))! That really was a lucky find!

Decent skirt, but I would say no on the blouse. You don't generally want something with that neckline, and from experience with costume patterns, those sleeves LOOK costumey, they're too puffy. You'll have a much better chance altering patterns (length on skirts/dresses, fullness on skirts, neckline on a dress, different collar on blouse, etc), as opposed to looking for one that is entirely Lolita Things that have good potential: Dresses: V2267B4443 M5095M4460S4070Blouses: M5322B4855B4921/B4374 (one of my favorite patterns) S4077S4487Things to look for: Length, obviously, because you want it to hit knee length. Is it full enough to accomodate a petticoat? (general bottom circumference of a skirt, without a ruffle, should be 2-3x your waist size, closer to 3x-- so about 60in for a 24in waist is good). No sweetheart necklines, no scooped necklines. Waistlines of dresses and waists of skirts sit at the waist. Etc etc.

This is going to be moved into the sewing forum and also this pattern is not one that should be used for Lolita. Such as Alice and Sei-Kun said, its not suitable for tea-parties.

Sei-kun teh smexy ninja alicedoll no. that's a square dance pattern. for a hoe-down, not a tea party. Anyone gonna listen to her? Even if they are, you can change the fabric choice or some details to accommodate. Besides, it'd be great country-loli =P
Cryrin, thank you so much for those patterns!

Square-dancing isn't countryloli! Countryloli is just like normal loli, only with a miniature straw hat and a print that looks more country-ish like gingham! The problem is that the writer of this topic acted like that pattern was perfect for lolita, when in fact it isn't. The top is costume-ish and the neckline is weird, and the skirt is just a tad bit too fluffy. The real design is this one that cryrin posted! It's as close to perfect as you can get! Add some lace, volume, and fabric with a cute print, and you got yourself a lolita jsk!

I think this would make a cute Lolita skirt if some little details, such as lace, are added.
