I am curious as to what others think about the MGM part of disney world. it is not my favorite, but i do love the big magical mickey hat, i absolutly LOVE the stage show of Fantasmic and Beauty and the beast, little mermaid is sweet, though for the younger audience, the great movie ride is awesome, tower of terror is sweet, and there are some other things that slip my mind that were awesome as well.

Fantasmic is my favorite part of Disney World. It really captures the essence of Mickey Mouse and the magic of the whole place. I cry every time.

im sad they changed the name =(
but, im gonna try to get a pin wid MGM on it, and maybe some day it'll be worth money mrgreen
But anyway, the park.
2 years ago at FANTASMIC my moms friend (she came with us) 's daughter was sitting in the middle oif the audience, in one of the first rows. she was only 6.
Does everyone know the part of the show where the native americans from Pochahantus (srry idk how to spell sweatdrop ) come out an they have a big loud caboom noise like a canon??
well that "cannon" faces the audience. My mums freinds daughter: xdyadx (addison) was hit with the cannon.. it wasnt a "cannon ball" but a peice of paper that was burnin hot, just for effects.. an she got hit in the forhead an was knocked out cold.. she had to ride in an ambulence.. it was scary.. but they took out the cannon and repaired it after the show got out.. that was the WORST experience...
but, im not tryin to put down MGM or newly name: Disnyes Hollywood Studios, cuz i LOVE IT TO DEATH!!!!
my faveorite there is prob movie ride!!! i luv it!!!!!
so.. thats pretty much all i gotz to say... biggrin

Rockin' Roller Coaster, well, rocks (ahahahaa...) and the Stunt Show is great, if the cars don't break down! sweatdrop
I also like Tower of Terror, even though it was better when it first opened. Oh well, I just have a lot of memories from that ride. Same thing with Muppet Vision 3D - not the best, but carries memories.
Of course, Star Tours is great, even if you don't like Star Wars (which was the lure for me).
Have you ever been to MGM (eh, it's easier to refer to it that way) or any of the Disney parks before?

I heart Disney's Hollywood Studios! It is in a tie for my first favorite park. I really like the Rockin' Roller Coaster, Fantasmic, The Movie Ride, and Muppets 3D. But last time I went with my family they made me skip the Muppet ride... I was very sad. sad

Ahahaa, yeah it is a memorable gift shop. :]

Have you ever been in the animator's exhibit? The first time I went through it, it was back when MGM was a working animation studio, and they were working on Mulan of all movies!! I was sooo excited. I think that's partially why I like that movie so much.

I'll admit that when i first went to this park, I went thinking it be like Universal Studios in California. In a way it was but still it was a Disney park. I enjoyed a lot of the attractions, especially Rockin Roller Coaster. Being a coaster fan course I'd love this thing. Now I hate rides that just drop you, or in this case, send you toward the earth faster then gravity so I had my hesitations on riding the Tower ot Terror, but i did and it was fun.

We missed on a lot of the tours, like the one about Animation, which i wish I would have went on. Liked the shows, the beaty and the Beast show was great as was the indiana stunt show. Star Tours was fun, thou i loved the fact that Johnny 5 of Short circuit was amoung the bots in the line more lol.

My Wife's favorite, being a Little Mermaid fan, was of course the Little Mermaid show, I liked the effect they did through out, like the storm and the watery light effect.
