K, so I figured I might try and pump life into this thread.
So, who all plays an instrument?
I play guitar, and I've been playing for around 9 months now.
I wouldn't exactly say I'm good, because I mostly only play chords, and I can't manage to play a B chord yet, ******** B chord.
XD
So, how about you all?

B chords are ******** evil aren't they?? The one chord that i can't play well, and i have no idea why!!! evil
I also play keyboard (for about 8 years) bass (about 2) and soprano saxophone (just a few months)
Isn't music great?? mrgreen

Yeah, music's awesome.
I tried getting into playing Piano when I was 12 or so, but at the time I was more interested in playing with friends.
My brother has a bass, I occasionally pick it up and read this book on how to play it, but I don't do it often, too busy learning new songs on guitar.
Still have trouble with that b chord.
In fact, any chord that involves 5 strings or more being pressed down, I generally have problems with.
I'm getting the hang of F..

Yeah, electric/accoustic guitar here. I've been playing for about a year and six months, so I'm pretty good at the chords. My only problem is that I never memorized the chord names, just the fingering, lol. So afraid I can't help ya on the B chord there man. neutral
Piano I ditched at about 9, that one didn't last long... Really didn't like the history that came with it, musical history has never really been my thing (Except for maybe early punk artists). lol

Arson Hiroha My only problem is that I never memorized the chord names, just the fingering, lol. So afraid I can't help ya on the B chord there man. neutral I used to do that, I didn't know what to call the fingering for a C chord for about a month. xD

Clarinet and guitar. Technically harmonica too, because I can play it.
I'm hoping to pick up bass soon, and try to play Primus songs. xd

Bass is really the easiest instrument i've tried to learn. Possibly because you only ever play one note at a time, and a lot of it is very riff-based and repetitive, so you don't actually have to think think that much once you've learned the riffs in the song.
I'd like to be able to play harmonica, but i never had one sad

I play bass, but I don't really "know" how. I don't really use chords, just tabs.

ive played guitar for like 3 years now, but i still cant play s**t. i went to classes but i just cant learn, im not good at it.
and played harmonica crappily for a few months back then, now im playing bass in a punk band so you know i dont really have any idea how to play bass hahaha

and if you're still having trouble with the B chord, why don't you just play it as a power-chord instead?

I used to play piano, sadly I quit right as I was getting good. One of the few things I regret.
Now I'm starting to pick up bass, but what I really want to do is play an upright bass. psychobilly ftw.

The last time I saw someone playing a sax was 6th grade, and some kid was playing the Star Wars song thing, it was pretty cool.

I've played guitar for a good, prolly 8 years now.
I played trombone for band in middle school, but i never actually owned one. Brass is 'spencive.
I hope to pick up a fiddle in the near future.
Y'all should realize, the B chord is the same chord as A moved down the neck a bit. You can do that with any of the chords you learn. You should try to learn what notes most of the frets are and learn about triads and stuff to actually understand how chords are put together. It makes your understanding of playing much better than just, "oh this is an A 'cause i put my fingers here, and this says thats an A".
edit: oh and in case you didn't realize, the power chord is just a shortened version of what is referred to as the bar chord, which is either E or A being moved around the neck as mentioned above.
