School's gonna be starting up again soon. And I don't think I can handle it... I haven't even started on my summer English project. It's so confusing... the only part I understand is I'm supposed to read this book, which isn't all that interesting. And now, Junior year, even more preparation for "adulthood". But to tell the truth, I don't want to be an adult... Heck, besides Kiki, most adults I've met are assholes. And I've seen that life. Get up early, go to work, come home late, eat, watch TV, attempt to sleep. I just don't think I can do it...

-Huggles- You're not the only one who's not ready for adulthood (and I'm 19). Have fun while you can, Maruul! u.u;

I can't! Everyone keeps shoving this "young adult" thing down my throat, trying to prepare me for the "real world". All my friends are getting real jobs, cars, deciding what college they want to go to. I clean the house, I'm scared of even riding in cars, and I'll probably go to the college here so I won't be too far from home... or the Barnes & Noble I love...

Everyone did that to me, but eventually they gave up because I showed that I wasn't ready for it all and sort of... rebelled... Anyways. I didn't have my first real job until I was 18, and I won't have my complete licence until next year when I'm 20. I didn't know what I was going to take in college until grade 12, and even then after I graduated High School I still took a year off before going to college just to be certain.
Just because everyone else is doing it right now, doesn't mean you have to as well...

i feel the same way, growing up can suck but it's kinda inevitable, anyway try not to worry about it to much. if your thinking about colledge or something dont worry about it untill you have to. just enjoy your life. and a tip for the future, dont singe up for a colledg untill your absolutly sure, my older sis thought she wanted to work with plants but it turned out that she didnt like the classes and reliezed that it might not be her thing, and now she's probubly still paying off colledg lones. anyway dont worry about it, just try to handle what comes along and hope for the best, it's true that adulthood comes with alot of responsibilitys but it can probubly be alot of fun too. ...hopefully it will be, as for me i refuse to compleatly grow up untill i'm redy to.
