Is just so hard in this modernday yuppie existance.
Wouldnt it be better to go back to short life spans, living with scurvy and verious VDs till we expire of foul ends at our enemies sword?

Hmm...that's almost a toughy but I wouldn't want the short life span and all the bad stuff I would like the perks we have now along with the perks you had then. I liked the way that the pirates dressed but if you did that in today's society people would make fun of you to all ends.

lol yeah, i think i would like to keep the long life spans, but everything else, yeah....being a pirate would be fun
no rules but loyalty to your crewmate.
no worries about the next day.
and the rush you get when you do a raid...
yeah, id like that...

Captain Jude lol yeah, i think i would like to keep the long life spans, but everything else, yeah....being a pirate would be fun no rules but loyalty to your crewmate. no worries about the next day. and the rush you get when you do a raid... yeah, id like that... yeah that would be awesome. But I don't want the diseases. And both ways of dress is awesome.

And to think, they still have a form of piracy even today. ( Not the online - internet based stuff ) but actual - International waters type.
Although, it would be neat to see a huge pirate ship sailing the 7 seas, pillaging and plunder and putting big hickeys on all the fair damsels ... Arrrrr! mrgreen

Ancient_Ebil And to think, they still have a form of piracy even today. ( Not the online - internet based stuff ) but actual - International waters type. Although, it would be neat to see a huge pirate ship sailing the 7 seas, pillaging and plunder and putting big hickeys on all the fair damsels ... Arrrrr! mrgreen

Well, I for one get to dress up soon and not get made fun of (much, lol)...one of the special weekends at the Ren Fest is devoted to pirates...Yay!!
How I would love to see our guild hanging out in pirate garb, guzzling ale (or rum), and generally causing mayhem... pirate
