Now that a poster exists with '1-18-08', I guess we can officially begin calling Cloverfield, well, you know, 1-18-08.

If you take a look at the fuzzy image above, you might notice a Transformers poster, a 30 Days of Night poster, but what's the one in the middle? Is that a headless Statue of Liberty?

Somebody at the forum unfiction has posted details and an image (taken horribly by cell phone) of what sounds to be the first poster for 1-18-08. As some of you might already have assumed, expect this poster to be making its official debut at Comic-Con.

Anyway, I was at a large booth where they sell movie posters. One of the posters there had a snapshot of the statue of liberty overlooking the city of new york. The statue was missing it's head and at the top in large white letters it said "Monstrous". The lower right corner had in smaller white letters, 1-18-08.

Fake? I dunno but that is what I saw. I also snapped some cell phone pics and if possible i'll try to upload them.

If this was already mentioned before I'm so sorry as I know people love to jump all over others when they repost.

oh.. xd very good point. I cant find that poster, nor movie. (apocalypse) I checked on IMDB.

yup it's waay similar so i guess unfiction probably needs to update or something cuz it might have been photoshoped(either the monstrous or the apocolypse posters). . .wait if u look closly on top of the apocolypse poster u can read "FROM PRODUCER JJ ABRAMS"! so i'm gussing that the apocolypse one is photoshoped! some1 must have wanted to change the title. . .http://www.slashfilm.com/2007/07/23/spy-photo-cloverfield-movie-poster/. . .this site has a different photo but its similar to the first site i mentioned on this forum.
so the apocolypse poster is the monstrous poster but photoshoped!

After that poster pic leaked, they changed the name of the movie, and are probably thinking of a new one. At Comic-Con, JJ avoided any names, referring to it as "This movie".

Although, they DID show a poster... A blue tinted, headless Statue of Liberty, with the only thing written being 01/18/08 in the bottom right corner.

ACTUALLY, I forgot all about this. I can't remember where I heard about it, or if it was at Con or not, but, there ARE going to be 3 or 4 posters, but those aren't them. The first poster, titled Monstrous, is the SoL headless picture. The other posters are just different pictures. There are no words on them. Which makes me question these links... I'm pretty sure these people made these pictures.
