Geon sat silently in the tree he was currently using as a watch-post. So far, the only people who had passed under him were poor travelers, a few monks and occasionally a rich caravan. He pulled out a slip of paper and re-read it slowly, to make sure he hadn't missed anything. The message had arrived to his room nearly a week ago, saying that someone important would pass by. And for a week, he had sat in the most uncomfortable tree in the world with no one passing other than those poor travelers, a few monks and occasionally a rich caravan.....
"Damn," he mumbled, shoving the paper back into his coat. Geon shifted some, trying to get a thorn from his back. He figured the tree hated him as much as he hated the tree.

Emmy passes under the tree Geon is in. She has a dark cloak on. The hood is up and pulled low to hide her face. She's been away from the castle and is returning now. She had sent word to Kinj and her other loyal guards so they could prepare for her in secret.

Geon shivered and his gaze shifted downwards as he saw the strange figure in the dark cloak. A sly grin crossed his face as his muscles tensed up to move. He could tell this person was important just by the way they held themselves and the way they walked. His hand went to the back of his belt and he drew out a small knife slowly, adreneline running thru his veins. "Gotcha," he whispered.

"GAAAH!" He fell from the tree with Uka's sudden prescence. Instead of hitting a hard ground, he landed on something squishy.... He cautiously reached under him and a soft cloak met his hand. eek

A soft sound comes from Emslebeth's lips. She looks at the man atop her from the shadows of her hood. "Watch your hand, stranger." Her voice is soft and musical.

He quickly moved from on top of her, glaring up at the tree. "I apologize, I had a bit of a scare." He stretched out a scarred hand to help her up. "That cloth of your cloak," Geon mused, "is usually used for people of royalty." A small smile tugged on his lips. "Unless you're a thief with excellent taste, then you must be of the royal family...." stare

Emmy keeps her face hidden in the shadows of her hood. She takes his hand with her own. She is wearing gloves to hide the color of her skin. As the eldest child of the dragon king, her description is well known so she has taken to hiding herself when she travels. She uses his help to stand. "What business is it of yours?"

The cat-demon gracefully jumped from the tree, landing behind Geon. She looked at Emslebeth thru slitted eyes. "Does she fit your fancy?" she whispered, still steaming from an argument they had before he had disappeared. "Rich girls?"

He manuvered his hand so he was now gripping her wrist tightly. "Royalty shouldn't be wandering out in this part of the kingdom."

She glances at the cat-demon when her words sink in. She quickly looks back to the man now holding her wrist rather tightly. "If I were you, I'd let go. You shouldn't do something you might regret."

"Regret?" he mimicks. "There is a great bounty on your head, Princess Emslebeth." With a wave of his free hand, a gust of wind pushed back the hood. "The islands would pay greatly for you." He grinned rather evilly.

Her black and crimson flecked silver eyes stare out from her ebony face. Her silver and crimson streaked black hair caresses against her skin. "Perhaps you should choose your target more wisely, Sir. What would the islands want with me?"

"I do not question my orders. Uka, stop dribbling nonsense and take care of things." Pulling out a black bracelet, he wrapped it around her wrist. It glowed silver before disappearing into her skin. "That'll refrain you from turning into your dragon-self," he explained.
