SUSPiCION sat quietly on a rock. He was in the middle of the wonderful world called Nightopia, where dreamers thought of and dreamt strange and weird things. He was one of those.... those things.
"Oh...., how I loathe my confinement to this.... this place!" he whined to nobody.
As far as he could tell, nobody was in the grassy valley he sat at. It was dark, and he happened to be sitting in the section of Nightopia called "Spring Valley".

The yellow 'Maren was wrong in his lonliness, another maren was standing on a tree limb nearby, watching the sky-like dreamshell far above their heads. out of boredom, he decided to see if the smaller maren could handle a conversation.
"Because this is where we were made to exist. Ever think of that?"

Tarnish grabbed a nearby Pian, looking at the unusual creature that he'd used to eat back before he left Nightmare.
"Meh, I'm bored with hiding."
Tossing the pian aside, he warped down to SUSPi, appearing about an inch away from the other maren's face.

Not expecting Tarnish to suddenly appear barely an inch away from him, SUSPi jumped back in surprise.

Tarnish was used to people (usually Reala) doing the same thing to him, so SUSPi's reaction was unusual to him.
