"You did not find this place. In order to be here you must have been lead. At least by an animal of some sort, yes? Of course. A cute animal distracted you and seemed to lure you here.
You are lucky, my friend. Here is my place... many have grown to call it Crystal Rain Reserve."
Less than a hundred miles south of Barton Town lies the Gaian Rainforest, and on your way to the rainforest from Barton South you pass the ever-popular Gaian Zoo. Hundreds of species are held here to show to the public, ranging from primates to cats, horses, birds, sea creatures, small mammals, and even experimental animals like the Serpentra, Medusadon, and others.
Most of the zoo's staff doesn't know about the labs underneath the zoo. Scientists perform experiment upon experiment, trying to create new species that will make the zoo money. From the outside the zoo is fine, the animals are treated fairly and have their own separate places to live like any other zoo.
"After being hired on by the staff at the Gaian Zoo, I found that I liked to work overtime taking care of the animals. After working there over a year, something didnt add up to me. For the amount of money the zoo was retrieving from merchandizing and donation boxes, the animals weren't getting enough back out of the deal. The money was being spent somewhere else.
One night I stayed later than anyone else around on staff. I took the midnight shift, which wasn't terribly bad but being in a zoo at night can be somewhat scary when you think about it. Anyways, I made my way around the zoo, looking for anything suspicious. When I got to the staff building, I figured I could go inside to check out the books, maybe see where the money is going. I figured it would be going to the owner's drug habits, or maybe just their ridiculus spending habits.
I found the office where the books would be, and it wasn't locked at all, no cameras were even present. I studied the two most recent years' books, and found that 60% of profits were going to something called "Spec Labs".
I accidentally dropped one of the books, and heard a hollow sound. I looked down to find a trap door neatly painted like the tile. I thought to myself how corny it was, but I went down anyways.
It led me straight down to a small room with an elevator. I must have taken a secondary way because there was another hallway leading here. I resolved to leave going that way so I knew both exits. I got in the elevator and looked for buttons to press, but there wasnt any need as it started to move on it's own.
I didn't have much time to see when the elevator doors opened. I saw hundreds of animals in all sorts of cages: glass, wire, steel. Some creatures I didnt recognize, but I couldn't take a look because I was then seized and tazered. When I awoke I was on the edge of the rainforest, beaten and bruised. I knew to not go back to work, so I let the rainforest lead me. I followed the upper stream of Crystal Rain River all the way to Diamond Falls. I ventured behind the falls, haping there was a small cave or anyhting to sleep in, but it was a cave with an opening to another side, so I decided to follow it instead.
I was in some sort of valley that I later learned was called IvyVine Valley. I was barely above the tall trees, and all I could see was trees...trees everywhere! I had a small path to climb down the cliff face I emerged from that led straight down into the wilderness. On the other side of the valley was another steep, jagged cliff that looked as if it was made of glass.
I noticed that the glass cliffs ended shortly South, so I could head that way and wrap around. I only had about three hours left before dark, and I wanted to find a safe place as soon as possible.
I didn't make it like I had planned, but I did manage to cross the valley to the bottom of the cliffs so I had something to follow in the morning. I ended up climbing a tree and sleeping in it, although I wouldn necessarily call that sleep.
The next day I followed the baseline of the mountain, and after much of the day I finally got to the edge. The trees kept going, but I could faintly hear rushing waters nearby and I knew that was a good sign.
There was no cave at the base here either, so I wrapped around and followed the inside baseline of the glass mountains. Another half hour's walk brought me here.
When I first saw this area is was a medium sized flat, tree-free area. There wasn't much grass, but when you looked up you had the thick canopy shelter above you. It was like it was already my home."
She gets up and pours some tea. She walks back over to you, hands you a cup, and sits back down to continue her story.
"It took me a while to decide what I wanted to do with myself. I had run away from civilizaed life to be in the wilderness. What was I going to do now? I wanted to do something about what had happened at the zoo. After some time I had drawn out plans of the zoo, and a map of where it was from here. I was going to try and help some of these animals. As long as it didnt happen too often, or have too many animals disappear at once, I could find some way to get them out of there. The good thing was I still managed to keep some of my zoo keys.
Here I am now. I have been here for five years now. I have now had to use my animals to guide trustworthy people here to perhaps give these animals a home. Like I said, you are lucky my friend. We have many animals here, and I now have many people help me break animals free every moon cycle or so. Tell me, are you ready to see the animals?"

Bastala- Guardian of all of Crystal Rain Reserve,
and leader of the Jailbreak Operations
Mimbi Mu- Has grown up in the care of Bastala, and after her disappearance while working at the zoo, Mimbi found Bastala only after the aide of some oddly friendly animals. She helps run the Reserve, and is like an adopted daughter of Bastala.

CRYSTAL GUIDES
These are the more humanlike availabilites from this shop, Journal Required.
Stages: Crystal Rune, Infant, Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult
Crystal Guides is a broad name given to the many humanlike creatures who reside here in the jungle, and who particularly refuse to harm anything good spirited living in it. They inhabit the area doing as they please.
They range from elves, humans, mermaids, centaurs, fairies, furries, and sometimes a drow elf or two. Avatar Custom Characters Available as well.
Crystal Guides have 5 fully custom stages, and can breed as long as they are in Adult Stage.
Babies Per Breeding: 1, and you can get twins with a random number spin, 10% chance.
Cost: 10k for premade, 15-25k for regular custom order.
Info on Stages:
Crystal Rune Stage: In this stage you barely know it is alive, only by the warmth coming from the smooth rune you hold in your hand. Best to keep it warm until it transforms! Runes are known by their symbols on them, not by type of rock. Runes can be made of stones, jewels, or beads.
Infant: Your rune has changed into a small baby! The guide sleeps through most of this stage, saving energy much needed for the next. Somewhere on it's body is a rune tattoo.
Toddler: At this age your guide is very curious, trying to learn what it is capable of, as well as what everything else is. Energy flows through their bodies, and some signs of uncontrolled power emerge.
Child: Your toddler has had quite a growth spurt, and appears around age 8-10. He/she is mildly able to control small powers, and is getting a natural instinct to protect the area and creatures around it.
Teen: Your guide believes they have seen it all by this point, they become very confident in their power and protection, although they are still learning. By this point they have usually taken an animal or two under their wing, and it is obvious by this point if they have good or evil intentions.
Adult: Your guide is fully grown and has full control of their abilities. They have followed their path and are either living as a good or evil guide in the area. Either way, your guide is a leader to some type of creature, trying to better their lives. They can now settle down and breed if they wish.
GROWTH FOR CRYSTAL GUIDES:

BREEDINGS: Open/Closed
When it comes to breeding your pet, there are a few simple steps to follow.
1>>You need a male and a female pet or guide, and both owners agree to split payment down the middle. NO CROSS SPECIES.
2>>EACH pet/Guide will need a passion plum in order for them to "breed"
3>>According to how many your species are expected to have per litter, I will generate a random number. You may purchase Fertilope to increase your odds.
4>> Once both pets have a passion plum in their inventory I will generate how many they will have and begin on your babies! Please send trade for breeding fee.
5>>I Tell you when I am finished and give you a watermarked preview. Accept the trade to get your actual pets with the information you would then provide.
You may decide to keep them, sell them, give them away, or a combination of those choices.
ONCE YOU HAVE PURCHASED A PASSION PLUM FOR YOUR PET'S INVENTORY, IT IS NOT NEEDED FOR LATER BREEDINGS! (Only the breeding fee will apply.)

Here are the six necessary things we need for the little item shop at Crystal Rain Reserve. I dont know cost yet, but I do have pics:
Acorn of Growth:
These acorns grow vigorously and die quickly, and are therefore rare to find ripe. But when they are found at the brightest in color, like shown here, they are suprisingly soft and sweet to taste. The entire acorn, shell, leaves, and branch are edible when ripe because they get so soft.
These allow your pet to advance a stage.
Calming Fruit:
This fruit gives you a calm feeling just by looking at it. If you take a bite of this fruit, you will find it extremely intoxicating, making you more addicted by each bite. Each bite you take makes your entire body slow, in motion and in age.
You will stay at your current stage of growth unless you eat an Acorn of Growth.
Rainbow Berries:
These berries can be somewhat bright out in the sunlight, and are often found in the last place you would think. They can grow anywhere, but can be easily identified by the multicolored berries on it's purple vines. Each berry is said to taste different and have a different effect, but everything that has eaten one has either changed fur, scales, or color.
By eating one berry your color will change, but by eating two you can end up with scales or an entire different fur style.
Testrogen Melon:
This dainty melon has an odd enough power to it, it causes the creature to change genders. This fruit grows in riverbeds and looks like a pastel colored rock. The exterior is like a strong elastic skin, but the inside is juicy and rich in flavor. It is best to eat this alone, and over a large plate with a ton of napkins. Once a creature indulges itself with this fruit, it will become very solitary for a week, but will re-emerge as the opposite gender!
Passion Plum:
This type of plum grows in rich colors, and is full of pheromones. The tree that holds these are tall and sturdy, with little branches. But incredibly enough, it can drive animals crazy up to a mile away. It is best to pick these right before use, because it can get quite dangerous in teh wild with them in your pocket.
You must purchase these in order to properly breed.
Fertilope:
This melon is a cousin of cantelope and honeydew, but has a watermelon texture and a sugared-strawberry taste. It is sour to the male tastebuds, but when females indulge themselves with this fruit when they are pregnant, they are sure to have more children (depending on the species).
