so. It leaked. I got to listen to the album.
neutral eek To my surprise, there's no screams, and most of it is soft.
so, idk..I do think they could have done a little better.
Either way, I like it all the same. whee Can't wait for the actual release though, I might have to get the actual album for the case and booklet. biggrin

it doesn't suprise me that theres no screams, after all there wasn't any on rain in hell, look like there changing there sound a bit, right back to the point....
LEAKED!!! WHA...? is there anyway i could hear it also?actually, you probally shouldn't anser that, i should just wait for the release.
but i don't wat to wait that long crying

Well their albums have matured in sound over these past 3, especially in regards to wiL's vocal performance.
I mean, if you listen to all 3 back to back, his voice gets higher and stronger. On the first album his voice was lower and not as strong in parts, Nightmare his voice is in a higher range but still not super strong, and on R.i.h. his voice is at the same range but sounds thicker and fuller. I think it's interesting. It's probably still progressing on this album.
I'm going to wait to listen until I buy it.
I feel bad listening to things that leak.

In my opinion; if you can't find it leaked, you no one should be allowed to publicly post an upload on these forums. It's not fair to the guys. And I've heard three of their songs live, and admittingly a little worried, because it does sound different, but Wil has said "******** you" if you don't like it and think that they've "sold out" or whatever.
Wil put a MySpace blog about people's reponses to the songs, and his reply back, and there's an article about it in the recent AP.
What I've heard, got me worried, because it doesn't sound like the other albums, but Wil has said that 'I don't want the play the same s**t over and over. This is a change of sound, but it's still OUR sound, and what WE want to play. That's all that matters. Like it or not, we are Aiden.' So I still respect that, and will still buy the CD, and will still support them.
There's my two cents.

I personally would rather wait till the album is officially released.
I'm not into sneak peaks unless they're suggested/promoted by the band.
However, the four I've heard live are entirely fun and the guys are more than excited about the album.
Music is about progression and I think they're doing it nicely.

Prone To Cling And Waste These Things I think, wiL's voice will keep changing on albums.
it's more of a Anthony Kiedis route, never consistent vocals.
as for it being leaked, i fully agree with Andee Fix.
in my opinion, leaked albums aren't really fair to the band. ):
plus, nothing can really beat, buying the album and playing in it your walkmen

I like the ever changing vocals.
It suits him and isn't indistinguishable.
If anything I think he's improved.

I will have to agree with what everyone else is saying.
Once you lission to it a couple of time you get the feel for it.
I alse like the fact that wiL's voice is different.
Also I like the different feel of this one.

They realized they wanted to do something other than screaming.
Man, they're getting s**t for it...
It's like M. Shadows of A7X. He went to their producer and said he didn't want the next album to be scream filled two years before said album came out.
