I'm curious, very very curious.
Are you always happy with who you are, or is it something that comes in spurts?
For instance, sometimes I adore who I am, curves, everything. I love it. But than, at other times, I'm insecure to a fault and honestly truly despise how I look. No, that doesn't change the fact that I have pride in myself, but rather that I'm not always happy.
And I was curious if anyone else had the same thing.

Lately, I've been accepting of who I am, almost to the point of "I don't care how I look anymore." Must be because I'm not socializing that much this summer. Anyway, I know how you feel. Most of the girls in my school are tiny and I feel big (taller and wider) so that I have a slouching posture in an involuntary attempt to fit in. I hate the insecurity. emo

I love who I am, because I know I worked to be this way. Body, intellect, personality ect.
The fabulous part about being human, is that you have the power to change yourself for the better!
It dosn't matter to me what size or shape people are, If they love themselves, because they're who they want to be, I find it incredibly sexy.

It took me a long LONG time to be happy with who I am. I still have days when I try something on and it annoys me how I lok in it, but I just try something else on and let it go. I can't and do not want to change my shape. If I did I would change it.

Right now im having a very hard time with being comfortable with myself (mainly because my boobs are smallish) and when i eat something my stomach gets bigger than them and then i weigh myself on the scale and i see the numbers go up... and then my bfs mom always makes cookies and they're right by the door (so i end up eating like 5) and my dad says exercise and starve and i just wanna much on everything *sob*

I feel the exact same way. I dunno what sets it off, but sometimes I look in the mirror, and I just feel so damn pretty. And that mood follows me throughout the day. But other days I look in the mirror and I can hardly stand looking at myself while I get ready. Then, of course, that mood follows me throughout the day as well. It drives me crazy.

I mean I'm usually happy with myself, but sometimes when I get together with friends I look around and realize I'm the fat girl...I'M THE TOKEN FAT GIRL!!!! and it sucks sometimes, but if it has to be someone, it might as well be me, because I LOVE my friends... they never make me feel insecure, it's mostly me just getting all "emo" about my weight/appearance.

In my group of friends, I'm the biggest one. (and usually, to make you feel better, they say you have the biggest boobs, but I'm asian, I mostly hang with asians and it's funny because I'm only B cup) The best thing with friends is that they accept you or else they wouldn't be with you. I don't know about the rest of my classmates.

I am usually very content with myself, but it is only when I think about what would make people around me happier is when I get self-conscious

I am usually very proud of my body thanks to some good people. My boyfriends and a few very friendly plus sized models! I have actually become a bit of a plus sized model, working only for friends for now, but I have hopes for the future. I will admit though, that there are days I am unhappy with my shape. Being a pear, I carry my weight on my hips and thighs, but something else I've noticed about pears is that we can have a little pot belly if we're not careful... It sucks. sweatdrop

I think that everyone has AT LEAST something they don't like about themselves.
I mean, I know people can be constantly happy with themselves, without being arrogant or anything, but I think everyone has at least ONE insecurity.
