In the same facility his Twin Sister resided but he never knew her untill the government stopped funding the expirements forcing the scientist to sell off the expirements to the black Market. It was there the Scientist sold them as a pair stating they were twins. At the young age of 9 they were rescued from the black market by Lydia, a London Vampiress who helped raised them despite his own young appearence.
