I think people should have to read all the posts in an RP that were made before they joined. It gets really annoying if someone posts something that goes against what was already established. Even if the RP is over 100 pages, if they want to join, they should read everything first.

Yeah i agree, that way they know the story so far and have a idea of the flow and what can be done and stuff.

I myself read what I can, but when my eyes glaze over and I hit that near catatonic state I believe it is time for me to leave the reading alone and just ask a friend before I post. <3 mah countess!

In a perfect world everyone would read the whole rp before joining, however this is the real world, and most times rps get way outta control. They grow very large very quickly, it's just not feasable. I agree that before someone enters an rp they should know the basic storyline, and at least read back about five to ten pages. At least to get a feel for what's going on, I personally would love for everyone to read the full rp before joining, but then no one would ever join new rps, they'd be stuck reading for hours and hours, and then they'd probably end up quiting before even finishing the reading.
