Base Profiles Listings This is the guild to the profiles bases as it will tell you strenght and weaknesses for each type of character.
Class Changing
Requirements To change class, a character must have achieved at a Level of at least 20.
Why Do It? The reason to do so allows a player to fully customize a character into the being that they desire them to be. You can make a character that has all types of abilities while having better stats than they normally would.
The Price Keep in mind however, that with each class change made to a character, their stats will be halved. This means that whatever class they began as, they will lose half of their hard-earned stats (stats that you wanted them to build up for this character).
Also note that after a class change, the character's Level will revert to 1, no matter how far past Level 20 they were.
Reincarnation When a person dies, or is condemned by the gods and is tossed into the after life, they can be reincarnated by offering an item(s). (This can be a two handed sword at times.) Based on the item(s) offered and who can use it can change the Class, Level, Stats, and Gender of the person. For the best results items that match what you want the person to be reborn as should be used.
(An example would be using a flower with a GoldAcorn, Wand, and skirt this would make the person be a Female, mage, with +5 her original life, her level would drop by 3 Another would be a dagger, LuckBean, Gold crown, and Jock strap Giving you a Male theif with +5 luck, +4 levels)

Warrior Stats Strength : High Agility : Average Vitality : High Luck : Low Intelligence : Low Hit Points : High Magic Points : N/A Attack Power : High Defense Power: High hidden skill: 1HP gain per turn
~~~~ Pros ~~~~
Unbelievable physical specimens, Warriors possess great Hit Point, Attack, Defense, and Strength abilities. You will have a virtual one person wrecking crew as this vicious melee man/woman gains levels, this tank can often survive the battles that your team mates will not.
~~~~ Cons ~~~~
No Magic ability whatsoever can be a real problem for your team in certain situations. This is very apparent when you are attempting to pass through a long dungeon, and your Warrior can not assist in healing the party, other than carrying a few Herbs.
The average Agility of a Warrior will quickly be reduced by all the heavy Weapons and Armors he will equip. This becomes very apparent when the Warrior is last to get an attack in on the enemy out of your whole party.
Fighter Stats Strength : High Agility : High Vitality : Average Intelligence : Low Luck : Average Hit Points : High Magic Points : N/A Attack Power : High Defense Power: Average hidden skill: Dosn't have a dice roll for attack, but attacks bypass enermy defence
~~~~ Pros ~~~~ With his extremely fast Agility and high Attack, the Fighter is a formidable... well, fighter. Using his bare hands and the odd claw you find along the way, the damage totals will be impressive. Critical hits are the calling card of a Fighter, meaning massive damage for the opposition (these hits ignore enemy defensive totals).
Hit Points will be an asset with the Fighter, as they will make your Fighter stay in the fight for a longer period of time (especially since they tend to be somewhat susceptible to taking large amounts of damage).
~~~~ Cons ~~~~ The Fighter cannot equip many kinds of Armor. Their defense is only average, so the damage they take can be quite extensive (especially if they are teamed up on by a group of enemies). No Magic ability for the Fighter. So healing or attacking with Magic is not his forte (not truly his purpose though).
Mage Stats Strength : Low Agility : Average Vitality : Low Intelligence : High Luck : Low Hit Points : Low Magic Points : High Attack Power : Low Defense Power: Low hidden skill:1Mp gain per turn
Mage -> Sage
~~~~ Pros ~~~~ Unmatched in attack spells (with the Sage being the exception). With the high amount of Magic Points that this master of the arcane arts gets, you will have a lot of magical punch to your attack for a long while on any extended journey into the enemy-laden challenges ahead.
High Intelligence ensures that your Wizard will damage the opposition greatly with their spells, as well as ensure the Magic Point stat will continue to rise steadily throughout their growth as they level up.
~~~~ Cons ~~~~ Unbelievably weak physically, these guys attack for little damage (that is not their purpose though). They also take very little time to fall from physical blows.
Not able to equip many pieces of Weapons or Armor, you will need to be sure to give them the best equipment you can when it is possible to do so. This requires you to keep an eye out for the best equipment ahead of all other classes if you wish to keep your attack magic user as healthy as possible.
Sage Stats Strength : Average Agility : Average Vitality : Low Intelligence : High Luck : Low Hit Points : High Magic Points : High Attack Power : Low Defense Power: Average hidden skill: 10% mp gain per tuen Mage -> Sage Jester -> Sage
~~~~ Pros ~~~~ How to get the Sage One way to get a sage is to find the books of Magic (more so the books of Fire, Thunder, Ice, and Healing) then give them to the person that wishes to be a sage, and head to the magic alter in your hometown (the same alter used to change character classes.) That person can then become a Sage.
The other way is a bit risky, and it involves training the Jester. Once the Jester reaches level 20 he or she can return to the magic alter and prey to the gods for his or her lost power. The reason they can prey for power is because a Jester is a cursed Sage, which was condemned by the gods to never succeed in using magic ever again. The curse can only be broken if the Jester has proven to the gods that he or she is now a good person, and has mended his or her ways. Although the Jester may become a Sage they can also lose their lives if the gods disapprove of their prayer. (Basically the Jester has to roll a 20-sided die and if they get a 1, 6, 10, 15, or 20 that person will instantly die.)
~~~~ Cons ~~~~
If trying to get the Sage requires the Jester then there is little chance for hope of making a Sage. As for become a Sage from books then the chances are better, but the books are rare.
Cleric Stats Strength : Average Agility : Average Vitality : Average Intelligence : Average Luck : Low Hit Points : Average Magic Points : Average Attack Power : Average Defense Power: Average hidden skill: Immune to foe's stat chaning spells Cleric -> Shaman
~~~~ Pros ~~~~ Well-rounded abilities are the power that the Cleric brings to your party. They have good Attack, Defense, Strength, Intelligence, Hit Points, Magic Points, and Agility to make a jack-of-all-trades for your party to rely upon for a myriad of tasks.
The Cleric learns white magic spells, which are mostly defensive in manner (healing, raising defense, etc.). However, the Cleric can also learn some stat lowering spells to use on your opponents (lessen Defense and Speed, for example), and the Cleric will also learn some moderately powerful attack spells (like the family of Infernos spells).
Clerics can equip a fair amount of different Armors and Weapons, including some certain higher quality ones.
~~~~ Cons ~~~~ The only real annoying thing about Clerics is that they will become less useful for attacking as the story progresses. This is not a big problem as enemies near the end of the story will be able to hurt your party quite a bit, so healing will be needed frequently (making them the default healer in almost every turn of the battles).
Shaman Stats Strength : High Agility : Average Vitality : Average Intelligence : High Luck : Low Hit Points : High Magic Points : Average Attack Power : Average Defense Power: High hidden skill: Imune to non damaging spells Cleric -> Shaman
~~~~ Pros ~~~~ How to get the Shaman One way to get a sage is to find the books of Magic (more so the books of and Healing, Alchemy, Reincarnation, Conjugation) then give them to the person that wishes to be a Shaman, and head to the magic alter in your hometown (the same alter used to change character classes.) That person can then become a Shaman.
Another way would be to obtain a shaman is for a cleric to learn many healing spells to transform into a shaman, with low luck the chance of this happening is slim to none
~~~~ Cons ~~~~ Having to unlock him is his biggest weakness next to his luck.
Merchant Stats Strength : Average Agility : Low Vitality : Average Intelligence : High Luck : Average Hit Points : Average Magic Points : Average Attack Power : Average Defense Power: Average hidden skill: Gets items 1/2 price
~~~~ Pros ~~~~ A well-rounded party member to have and the Merchant does not struggle in any important areas. The Merchant can equip many Weapons and Armors, and the Attack stat is quite impressive, though just a smidge above Average overall.
After a fight ends, your Merchant will often find the party some extra Gold Pieces among the carcasses of your enemies. The more Gold won in the fight, the greater the amount the merchant can garner for the party, meaning you can afford expensive equipment that much sooner.
~~~~ Cons ~~~~ Low Agility will often delay the Merchant from doing anything until later in the round of fighting. The lack of spells also hurts this class a fair bit.
The Merchant will fall behind your other fighters in quality of stats as the story progresses (especially Warriors).
Jester Stats Strength : Low Agility : Low Vitality : Average Intelligence : Low Luck : High Hit Points : Average Magic Points : Average Attack Power : Low Defense Power: Low hidden skill: dice roll for attacks 1=damages foes 2=damages self 3-4=nothing, 5= confuses self, 6=attacks team
Jester -> Sage
~~~~ Pros ~~~~ High Luck rating that Jesters give your party will help you in finding items after defeating enemies (especially since they have a sky high rating).
Although weak in every category, you might want to bring one along on your travels to see what could develop (consult a special book in the story for details or check the Class Changes section).
~~~~ Cons ~~~~ Brutal stats in almost every category, the Jester can't protect itself adequately.
You can't control the Jester. The Jester will just do whatever it pleases, which usually means it will waste its turn. Sometimes it will attack, but just as often it will hurt itself instead or attempt to do something that is far beyond any abilities the fool has! Even worse is that they become less and less entertaining as you journey, since you will have seen all of their screw-ups many times.
a 6-sided die is rolled and if a 1 is rolled the jester attacks the foe, is 2 is rolled the jester attacks himself, is 3-4 is rolled the jester attacks team mates, if 5-6 are rolled the jester will do nothing
Thief Stats Strength : Average Agility : High Vitality : Average Intelligence : Average Luck : Average Hit Points : Average Magic Points : Low Attack Power : Average Defense Power: Low hidden skill: normal attacks steal eneimies items in non PVP fights
~~~~ Pros ~~~~ The Thief proves its worth in the unique and relatively cheap spells it possesses, able to really help out a Hero while dungeon crawling in relation to treasure and hidden stairways. The Thief also boasts a sky high Agility rating, meaning it can often attack ahead of even the speediest of enemies for a quick hit.
They also are able to use a lot of unique and fairly useful weaponry like whips and boomerangs, making him an ideal multiple enemy attacker. Perhaps the best ability of a Thief is Steal, which allows them to rob enemies of Items, often gaining valuable weapons/armors/etc. in the process!
~~~~ Cons ~~~~ The Thief does not keep up with top end brawlers in damage, nor can he match spell casters for dealing damage (a complete lack of magic attacks).
The Thief will also be an odd man (or woman) out, as more than any other character (sans the Jester) is a specialty character and thusly is not particularly useful in a lot of situations.
