Base Classes: (What you start out as.)
Warrior- These fighters wield axes and swords but have minimal armor. However as a basic class you may only focus on one and keep in mind that you are still getting skill with the weapon you choose. This class is commonly used for Hakards and I would suggest against using another race for it but you are not prohibited from doing so.
Soldier- Commonly used by humans, this class wields swords and lances. Their armor is still heavy for them but they'll get faster with practice.
Scout- All races are suited for this class but Mezians and Humans use it to its fullest. Scouts use daggers or bows, which ever weapon you choose determines your class change so I suggest looking ahead if you decide upon this class.
Mage- The beginning of a long journey starts here with anima magic as it's called in Arkia. Mages are struggling to learn the ancient languages of tomes and have yet to be able to use them effectively. However they can manipulate the elements, provided they are around. They are also fast and have a knack for survival only beaten by the shaman. Again, the magic classes can not be used by Hakards.
Shaman- Ah the start of a process that will ultimately ruin their lives. Shamen aspire to become the druids of tomorrow and completely rely on the arcane books to cast even the smallest of spells, but that alone puts them ahead of the arcane community seeing as though they can actually cast spells. The long cloaks that they where protects them from the elements, though not weapons, an obvious mistake in their design. The only caveat is that they are weighed down by all their books so they are not as fast as priests or mages.
Priest- An odd group of people, they worship "the light" but no one is really sure what that is. They are also just as fast as mages if not faster. However, priests have been taught by their order to summon creatures they call Zephyrs and although they pose no real problem for experienced fighters, they can kill other members of the base class.
Veteran Classes: (Gained after training with a master.)
Mercenary: After you have trained with a master as a warrior you become a mercenary. Now whatever weapon you didn't choose becomes available for you to use and you also gain more skill with your main weapon. As an added bonus you gain a little more armor to use, however this doesn't mean a suit of armor.
Knight: No longer are you a lowly soldier in the army, now you are a knight. As with the warrior whatever weapon you did not choose to use is available to you. Also you are the only class that rides a horse into battle, well besides the paladin that is.
Archer: After being a scout you have found you like using a bow. Killing people from a distance and hitting targets are now your two favorite hobbies. Plus you gain some light armor so things are pretty nice for you.
Rogue: As a scout you found throwing daggers at people to be your favorite past time, and when your master suggested being a rogue you thought, why not? Rogues hide in the shadows and attack when the enemy least expects it making them very agile, but not so good on the defense side.
Wizard: Finally, you understand that gibberish written in the books and can cast spells. Only problem is that you have to carry around a few books, but at least you can set a house on fire and avoid passing horses unlike the slow druids.
Lesser Druid: Now you are beginning to realize why your parents told you not to be a druid. Only problem is they neglected to tell you that your body slowly turned to runite as you use your powerful magic. This has made you slower as walking has started to hurt but after sending a zombie to attack some p***k who stole your lunch, things started looking up. It also doesn't hurt that you gain one hundred years of knowledge every time you age, plus the rune tattoos that form on your body are cool.
Bishop: You have devoted yourself to the light and shall be rewarded, with more power. Bishops wield staffs that unleash powerful light attacks, the stronger of which can burn people to death, not to mention your little Zephyrs now devour the souls of your enemies.
Master Classes: (Achieved after unyeilding service to the guild.)
Mercenary Lord: Truly they are masters of the battlefield, killing all with their powerful axes and mighty swords. But as an added bonus they use actual armor, plus they have taken up using bows.
General: As a knight you have a choice, become slightly more armored and keep riding a horse, or take on a load of armor so strong magic has a hard time getting through. As a general you can wield an axe and although your movement is impaired, your weapons are on chains and can be thrown and then come back to you by a simple pulling back of your hand seeing as though the chain's attached to your armor so what do you care about movement speed?
Paladin: They are usually depicted as the goodie two shoes because of their gallant appearances. However this is not always the case. Paladins still use horses and with their new axes they have some good fun killing people.
Sniper: Bowmen that delight in killing enemies with impossible shots. It's been said that a sniper could kill a target a half a mile away. I wouldn't believe the rumors but people on the battlefield seem to die by arrows when there are no archers around so they must be at least a little good at what they do.
Assassin: Like rogues, only they tend to move so fast the enemy doesn't realize their dead until their own head falls off, not to mention that assassins can fight off multiple opponents, how they do it with daggers is still a mystery.
Sage: After years of studying these weary people can finally cast magic without books and do so, with deadly efficiency. Sages also dabble in both light and dark magic now but druid magic is so hard to use they have to read it out of the books.
Druid: Now that your body is mostly covered in tattoos and the knowledge of hundreds of years is in your mind you can't help but wonder why you did this in the first place. Druid movement is very slow as they have become feebler from their wounds due more to their dangerous magic then the runite. However there is a reason druids are so feared. A druid has the power to kill an entire village of people and then resurrect them as zombies to fight for them. However, each druid has a "curse" as they call it, because of their magic. Some have been burned so badly any movement comes at a high cost, others can no longer see, but some have the unfortunate ability to fall asleep in the middle of a battle field, or in mid sentence which could be very bad depending on the circumstance.
Archon: Something happens to bishops at one point or another and they turn into half-Zephyrs. Archons can use the power of the light to become the vary creatures they've summoned and with their other light magic abilities can lay waste to a field of battle.
