which is better headphones or earbuds when its late and you want to listen to your music as loud as possible with out waking everyone??? i like Headphones

Ear buds are better for sleeping, headphones are better in general.

Earbuds are probably safer, sleeping. But, I still use my headphones. If I happen to strangle myself with the cord by accident whilst sleeping, than at least I died happy!

a good pair or even a cheap pair of DJ's above all else, i hate inner ear and ear buds, they get very uncomfortable very quickly.

I use ear buds because they're better at blocking out ambient noise, and for someone with sensitive hearing like me, that's often quite necessary. Plus I can hide them more easily for when I'm in class.

Depends entirely on how much you are willing to spend. High end ear buds don't even need to be loud if they are close enough to your eardrum.

So, I'm getting a new pair of Sony large ambient-noise blocking headphones. Just too bad I'm poor. I really wanted I decent pair of Audio Technicas:  This is what I ended up getting. Ah well. I'll be happy with it.

Ear buds are completely ghey unless trying to sleep or trying to hide that you're listening to music. o_O Like in school.
