Okay so as many of you already know I had to get my wisdom teeth out this past Monday. It was the first surgery I'd ever had before so I was a bit nervious about it. Anyway so I went in and sat down and the first thing the doctor did was tie this weird rubber band thing around my arm. It hurt though because it was really tight. So I just waited there with this really tight thing tied around my arm while the doc took forever to find a vein. Anyway so he finally found one and then stabbed me with a neddle (ouch) and then he just took it out and taped this tube to me. Then they stuck this weird thing that's supposed to give you oxygen up my nose, which felt really weird and uncomfortable. And then they put this weird clippy things on my wrists and finger to monitor my heart. So there I am lying on this chair thing with a light shining in my face, with a tube thing up my nose, another tube thing taped to my arm, and a bunch of weird clips hooked to me with the beep beep beep of my heart in the background and I'm just like s**t... I'm gonna die... crying . And my mom's there just laughing at me and calling me wimp. Then the doc got the shot with the anesthesia stuff and stuck it into the tube that was taped to my arm. That stuff works pretty well too. The last thing I remember was my mom kissing me on the forehead and saying goodnight. I remember opening my eyes a couple of times during the surgery, but I was pretty much in lala land. I was just kinda like where am I? oh yeah surgery... okay whatever and then I'd just close my eyes again. According to the doctor the surgery was about 30 minutes long, but it seemed like only 5 to me. When they were done getting all that stuff off of me I tried to get up right away and I almost fell over. That was kinda funny. My mom and the doctor had to catch me. My mom had to help me walk to the car. That anesthesia stuff still hadn't worn off yet so I was still partically in lala land. It was pretty difficult the first couple of days, but now things have improved alot. I not spitting up so much blood now and my cheeks aren't as puffy. I still have to take vicodin for the pain though. And vicodin's the reason I haven't been on all that much. That stuff makes me really tired and loopy (just ask bloodredcerberus). So sorry I haven't been around that much, but I should be around more often now. So there's my whole story. mrgreen

I have End-Stage Renal Disease. When ever I had surgeries I tried to make the best of it like singing when I'm being given the anesthesia. They love it in the O.R. When I had my first transplant surgery. When I woke up after been in the I.C.U. and my parents were around. The nurse started asked a bunch of question like how I was feeling. When she asked if I could feel my legs I started to act like I was scared and I couldn't. It freaked my mom out she hated me for doing that but she likes it that I can joke around when in pain. twisted I know I'm sick no really I'm sick. Sorry, Mom.

But I hope your OK. I remember when my little sister had to do the same and her checks were all puffy. She looked like she was in so much pain and the vicodin doesn't help. And a friend had it done and I was IMing her and she could barely type she had to go because she made no sense.

*doesn't have to get her wisdom teeth taken out* >>;;
My mom hid the vicodin from my sister when she got hers pulled. x3 She knew my sister would probably save up what she didn't use (because they gave her a ton more than she'd need) and either sell it or just take it when she had an "episode." (she has borderline but likes to pretend tha she's "crazy" and "depressed" rolleyes )

Well, it wasn't so bad when I got them out. I could finish Full Metal Alchemist, Fruit Basket, and had icecream and Jell-O and more. xd
