Underworld is awesome. I remember seeing it when I was younger and it first came out. Dont remember much of it, but I remember loving it.

I didn't like underworld. So vampires all live together in a mansion, and have any fashion sense. What's with the dominatrix get up. Also I just don't like shooter movies. The sequel annoyed me, they stile the whole first vampire concept from Queen of the Damned, and their mythology makes no since. They also took out the whole morality and horror element of vampires, there were no human characters. I don't know, its just not my thing.

Not much of an underworld fan, didn't appeal to me. Is it just me or does it seem when it comes to vampires and werewolves they try too hard for movies?
I barely remember seeing Interview with a vampire the movie, but though it was different from the book ( as always) I think i liked it.
I'm a Blade fan too. Though I reallllllly didn't like the last one, it was stupid. The other movies were good though.
Then there was Dracula 3000....don't watch that... and all those craptastic vampire movies on the Sci-Fi channel....when will someone make a vampire movie of good quality? WHEN!? gonk

Heh, the vampires in Underworld do suck.
Opinions on From Dusk Til Dawn, then? Gangster meets Vampires. Now that's horrific, and the vamps are vaguely disgusting. Disgusting, yet funny.
Actually, all the ones I can think of are tacky. Vampire lore IS a bit tacky anyway. I'd rather be a mummy~ /sarcasm.

Lost Boys, Great 80s classic heart kinda cheesy, but in a good way. Great soundtrack...gotta love Sisters of Mercy!
Bram Stoker's Dracula, AWESOME! exept for Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder's s**t acting....
Nosferatu, it's good for being a silent film that was sued for using the plot to Bram Stoker's book...
Vampires Los Muertos...sucks...though it has Bon Jovi in it...it still sucks...one of those made for Sci Fi movies
Salem's Lot, I haven't gotten to see the whole thing yet. but it's a good movie for being made in 1979.
The Satanic Rites of Dracula.....oh god....though it has Christopher Lee in it...it's kinda stupid....

I think Vampire movies nearly always miss the mark. They take the subject and, instead of running with it, they take on the same concepts over and over again. Also, the movies always border on tack due to AWFUL SOUNDTRACKS, bad wardrobe, and dated concepts. What is even worse though is when a GOOD book is turned into a s**t movie. In my personal opinion Queen of the Damned was god awful. It didn't even stay in toe with BASIC vampire rules set forth by the writer of the book it was based on.
So what about Vampires in other media? Do you think Vampire video games are good or are you waiting for a great one? Do you think comics to a better job at handling vampires than movies? What about songs that have vamparic themes?
