Olivia Morgan Ravenclaw First year
I was surprised to learn that magic was real when I received the letter from Hogwarts. Hard to imagine that a secret community exists without many knowing about it. Charms seems to be fairly interesting and I'm looking forward to learning how to make things fly. The Levitating Charm will be the first spell that you will learn but before that there will be plenty of preparation on your basics. And mind you, my class is very stirct and I will accept no last minute and lousy work. SO be prepared. Though I must say, your esaay is very short. Usually this essay would not even pass but since you're a first year, I will give exception for once only. Remember you must have 5-7 sentences for one paragraph which equals to ONE short essay. Nevertheless, you can approach me if you do not understand anything, I will do my best to help you. I would not bite. 8/15

Malandra Sacre Slytherin Seventh Year For new students, please submit a short essay about yourself and what you hope to learn in this year in Charms. For others, submit an essay about how you did in your past year in Hogwarts and what you did during your previous summer vacation related to Charms. Previously in charms, I have always excelled. The basic charms, like Wingardium Leviosa, I can do with out even speaking the incantation. To me charms is the basics of magic, and are the building blocks to more complicated magic that helps us in other classes. This summer I was able to preform magic out of school for the first time, seeign as I turned seventeen before school started this year, and I was able to preform minor magic, suck as the bubble head charm, when myself and my cousins went to the sea and went diving to look at the aquatic life in the depths of that sea.Well done to you, Malandra. I shall be expecting more form you this year. I also see that you have put your knowledge of Charms into good use. This year, I shall be sharpening your skill in non-incantation spells more. You should know non-incantation is very important in the real world. Once again, very well done to you.15/15
