The stiff-backed airplane seat was starting to itch at her her skin now, the anticipation of what was to soon was driving her insane. Her favorite book, Twilight, lay abandoned in her lap, unopened and almost completely ignored, a bookmark sticking out from the top of it, a small crimson tassel tickling her knees.
Dark blue eyes closed gently, slim fingers pinching the bridge of her nose, her eyes closing tighter than before. A pretty flight attendant strollled up, smiling at her happily, "Anything wrong, Miss?" She asked politely, giving the young woman a smile. She opened her eyes, staring up at the woman for a long moment, "No, I'm fine. Thank you, though." She said calmly, giving a half-smile. The woman smiled at her, "Let me know if you need anything, okay?"
She merely nodded, fiddling with the tassel between her fingers, feeling the silky thread slip across her skin like water in the purest of forms. She took a deep breath, relaxing back in the seat, the flight would be over soon. She heard the pilot's voice come over the intercom, instructing them to fasten their seatbelts for landing.
For the first time in this two-hour flight she actually cracked a smile, impatiently squirming as she buckled her seat belt, starting to brush her fingers through her curly black hair nervously. This was the chance of a life time, she was actually going to meet her favorite star! And to spend a week with him. This was going to be the perfect week. Or so she hoped, she knew that some stars turned out to be complete assholes.
The next half hour passed in a blurr to her, getting off the plane and finding her luggage was easy, then seeing the man holding up a sign with her name on it. It was all so... Wonderful. She felt like a star. By the time they had reached the mansion she had calmed down her racing heart, eager to see her favorite star. "Miss Adams, we're here." The driver told her, opening the door. She stepped out, jaw dropping at the sight of the mansion.
Payne stepped cautiously towards the mansion, hand gingerly grabbing the doorknob. It felt freshly polished. She smiled, opening the door and walking into the lavishly decorated entrace hall. She gaped at the room, her eyes wide with awe, it was better than she ever dreamed about. "Please take a seat, they will be here soon to be with you." The driver told her, "Also, the other fans will arrive soon." He told her. Payne nearly cussed, though she stayed quiet, strolling over to a seat, sitting on it. She'd stay quiet for now, but if it took too long she'd get angry.

Kimi smoothed her top as she stepped out of the plane, she was used to flying, but nothing would ever help her get used to the smell of other people. The man she had sat next to the entire plane ride from New York to her destination had major bathing issues and it drove her poor nose into a frenzy. He had turned to her multiple times and asked her about China, Kimi had only glared after stating to him that she was Japanese and had moved to the States when she was eight. She had tried to be polite to him, but the man was not only fragrant, but rude and racist in his remarks to her.
If that wasn't enough to ruffle her, the full moon was coming up and she didn't know how she would excuse herself that night. She wasn't going to pass up a week with her favorite stars for anything. She found her luggage easily, due to the richly colored ribbon she tied onto her black bag. Once having them back in her possession, she used the ribbon to tie back her red bleached hair. Her mother always told her to be happy for her black hair, but the style was to bleach you hair red these days. Almost all the people in Tokyo were born with black hair. Red was pretty and alluring.
Looking towards the sky out of the window, she saw the moon, even in the daytime it mocked her. She pulled up her shirt in an attempt to hide the huge scar on her right shoulder, there was an arm warmer on the other scar. Underneath both fabrics were huge scars, deep and puckered. But they were light now, not the gross reddish brown as before. She touched her shoulder and the night she got them flashed through her head. Shaking it out of her mind's eyes, she motioned to the driver with her name on a board. "That's me."
They walked to his fancy car and he put her things away, he had a German accent and a very happy smile. She relaxed alittle, the man was calming. He joked with her a few times and offered her water. She felt shy, she was going to be spending time with a bunch of stars in the same house! Smoothing her skirt she smiled, looking out the windows. After a couple of laughs and a few sips of water, they pulled in and Kimi was greeted by someone who would take over introducing her to her new home for the next week or so. She waved good-bye to her driver and went inside. There was already a girl there. Her amber eyes peered at Payne, looking to the curly black hair, and everything about her. Before looking around as a couple of people took her things off somewhere. "Konichiwa."
