I am working on my own style of swordsmanship, "Ataryuudo" or "Way of the New Dragon." I'm training in unarmed matial arts as well from the Hall of Fame martial artist, Young S. Won. I also like RPing... My RP character: Name: Raven Orion (of course) A.K.A: Escarios Gulinias Orion Also: Solinsil Gulinias Orion Age: Equivelent of 20(ish), actually 11,597 (locked away for 10,000 years as the price for creating Nedian, a sword which can create or destroy planar barriers) Apperance: Raven 1Raven 2Personality: Quiet, mysterious, often pessimistic and cynical... Bio: An Escaran lord, Raven is an incredible warrior and mage...few of his enemies survive in battle. He was once the ruler of House Orion, but gave his position to his brother, Aust Orion, because he felt his place was better for serving, not leading. He became a wanderer, but the mannerisms of his postion sometimes still arise. Raven's honor is his life. Weapons: The living sword Nedian( Pic 1, Pic 2), and the living bloodsword Nedaka( Pic 1Pic 2) (Both can change forms) Unusuall Abilities De Re'to: As a De Re'to, Raven can control his body's sub-atomic particles, the uses for this are endless... Magic: In addition to incredible feats of swordsmanship, Raven is well-versed in magic, especially Ice and Chaos based magic.

Name: Falen (no family name)
Race: Drow
Age: 200
Description: Drow woman with purple dyed hair and a scarf/mask covering most of her face. She dresses in ultra heavy armor, but under the armor she has a bulky and muscular body. Magical drow runes have been etched into her skin, and at this point have no purpose. (subject to change with other guild) she's also pictured in my signature.
Personality: Falen is a kind soul, typically not wishing to harm people, but willing to do so if it means protecting others. She's afraid of contact with people because she knows she is a drow, which is a hated race. She fights her evil blood, but combat stirs excitement within her, and gradually the influence of evil has been growing stronger within her.
Bio: she ran away from her home city when she was a child for reasons she does not clearly remember. She eventually inhereted her ultra heavy armor from a knight who tolerated her. She also learned the art of the Heavy Sword and expanded her knowledge into other forms of heavies. The rest is painful memories of being hated, cast out, nearly burned at the stake for being a drow. She managed to get purple hair dye and used it so furiously that the roots of her hair were permanently stained. How she attained her markings are a mystery to her, though her armor also bears similar markings.
Powers: Incredible Strength, Adrenaline Rush, Spider Servant, (locked power)
Incredible Strength allows her to wear her armor, wield her sword, and still be able to move. She could stop a rolling boulder with her sword using her strength, and not much can withstand her powerful blows.
Adrenaline Rush grants her increased speed, allowing her to move faster and attack faster. It also boosts her strength a bit, potentially allowing her to stop a dragon's slamming attack. However this power drains her quickly, so she must use it effectively or else she will pass out.
Spider Servant is not a combat move, but it allows her to summon a spider servant of Lolth to spy on her enemies or allies.
(this power is still locked within her, and is not yet available)
Weapons: Massive Sword(usually equipped), Twin heavy Swords(Massive Sword can split, but this ability is locked), Great Scythe, Breaker Axe, Bruteslayer Lance
Combat Style: Since Falen wears such heavy armor, she has trouble moving quickly. Add a very heavy weapon to that, and her dodge ability becomes effectively nill. However because her armor is so thick, light and fast attacks will deal very little damage, if any at all. This allows her to even grab a sword by the blade if she needs to. Heavier weapons, especially blunt weapons, deal more damage and she will worry about those attacks. She also has little gaurd against magic, and because of her armor she is weaker against electrical attacks. She can bat away most conventional magic attacks with her sword, such as a fireball, iceball, or lightningball, however she will still take minor damage from the spells. Her attacks are typically very slow, since her weapons are so heavy. However gaurding is effectively useless against such attacks, and the damage from each blow is significantly high. Again, because her attacks are slow, they are easier to dodge, and they have a long time between strikes. She will use her unstoppable attack and her high defense in combination to strike the enemy and score her hit. She can increase her attack speed using Adrenaline Rush, which also allows her to dodge only some attacks.

Hello,I'm new.My Rp name is Zorc and I'm the polite gentleman-style swordsman,which means I'm nice,yet I harbor enormous power.I can use any weapon,but I'm a novice.My age is unknown because I'v lived long enough too forget it,yet I have the apperance of a 40 year old.Thats pretty much everything about me,though I would like someone to train me.

Age: 18
Appearance: Typical human girl. Brown-black, sun-bleached bronze hightlighted, hair and bright eyes to match with a good tan from all her days traveling. She's rather small, just a little over five feet and average build. Despite being faded and travel worn her cloths show traces of once being rich and lavish. She carries with her a pack holding all her personal possesions which among other things include three sets of crystal stix, two sets of poi, a sphere, a small flute and a small dagger given to her by her Grandfather who engraved her name on the blade.
Personality: Pretty laid back, generally optimistic, a little calculating, a bit mischeivious, curious about things around her and actually quite quiet when not engaged in anything. Seemingly innocent but with underlying knowledge and maturity gained from her travels. She'll try and talk her way out of trouble or slip away through some artful dodging if she can. And with a easy laugh and even quicker smile she usually manages to get off unscathed.
Bio: After leaving home she simply began wandering around the land. She makes her living by entertaining the households she comes upon in various ways…usually some sort of juggling, story telling, piping out a tune on her small flute, simple conversation or if not, by doing some chore for room and board. She doesn't have any real knowledge about using a sword(she's been lucky enough to promptly get herself out of any trouble she might have gotten into), but she has a great deal of experience with crystal stix, poi, and a bit of dance.
Weapons/powers: Charm, various tools of her trade, the ability to seemingly *poof* (really just being able to move around without attracting too much attention),a small dagger tucked in her belt, some small conjuring ability that she hasn't had any real instruction in, and when all else fails...she's a wonderful sprinter and a great hider. wink

I am SeaDragonLife! You can call me Sea. Hm... I don't have a bio right at this moment. So I'll post one of my characters.
Name: Kern
Age: 23
Personality: Kern is very thoughtful. He tries to be optimistic, but he typically sees things as being negative. He's a natural born leader, and is the Guardian of a legendary diamond known as the Dragon's Eye.
Appearance: He's very tall, at 6" 5'. He has black hair, golden/yellow slitted eyes, and large black wings. He also has a tail. Kern is a Dragon, BTW. xd
Weapon: He uses a curved sword called the Crystalia. It doesn't really have any special abilities, but if it get's damaged or broken, Kern can use the Dragon's Eye to repair it.
I've never RP'd with Kern, but I'd sure love to. heart

Hi my name is Armandt
I am also new here. I currently do kenjutsu (the ancient sword art of the samurai). The style we use is the Sora-to (sky-sword) Ryu (style).
My swords of choice is the Katana with an extended tsuka (the katanas which were used in war). I also find the tanto to be an excellent weapon, since its effective and is small enough to be concealed.
