so had this discussion in the sunspear sanctuary today whose avatar is the hardest to cap
in my opinion it would have to be lyssa

 I helped a guildie cap three of the avatars. I think Lyssa was DEFINITELY the hardest. Melandru was easy, as was Dwayna. Grenth was fairly hard, so we just quit. /:

I would say balthazar on who is the most strong, Grenth on the most annoying, I mean, you have no room for anything.

Balthazar is the hardest Dwayna the easiest.

No way, Balthazar was much easier than Lyssa. You need to use good curses spells, like SS and Mark of Insidious Parasite. And a good healer never hurts. *cough*me*cough*

Grenth is really easy to capture with a really good healer - but if you have way too many enchants on you're stuffed.

The only one I've capped so far is Balthazar. He seemed pretty hard. I might try for the others when I get back on my own computer. whee

They all seemed similar to me. Almost congruent. Then again, I got bored before capping Lyssa, so what do I know? xP

You guys really though Lyssa was a hard avatar?
Balthazar is the hardest in my opinion, I soloed all of them and Balthazar has no room for error when you go to cap his. with Lyssa you can kite everything off until you get her alone and take her down, I got hers on my first shot, and honesly though "wow, is it over already? from what the wiki said, she was supposed to be hard!" Maybe i just had my hero skills set up very well, but it seemed like she went down very quickly.
With Lyssa, you can destroy her with shear damage output. She has more energy, but unlike the player, she doesnt have Eternal Aura to recharge all her skills right away, making her have a huge disadvantage when up against a large group of Dervish's. They can go in, use all their skills with the last 2 being eternal Aura and something to drop them all, and follow it up with a second bar of skill's being activated.
Balthazar on the other hand, is different, you can not win that battle with a pure damage dealing group with a few monks thrown in for healing. The fact that he has a speed boost means he can run down anyone in your group and the Armor boost means he can stay in the battle longer than anyone in your group that doesn't have the avatar as well.
Ive soloed him once and killed him 2 more times with friends getting them the avatar, and no matter how many times i fight him, He always gives me trouble, every time.

I found Grenth fun. I like going into big groups like an idiot. As long as I got my trusted MM hero, I'm good.
