For a while I've been stalked by.....oh....a shadow. It only comes at night when I'm the only one in my room at grandma's/mom's. I'll see it out the corner of my eye and when I try to look at it it moves farther into my peripheral vision. And eventually into the wall. I look away and it slowly creeps back to the original position where it started. If I leave it there and watch it...it begins to grow. (Picture the demon worms in the beginning of the movie Princess Mononoke only black with a little red when it grows.) I've seen it several times over the years and it scared me a lot... Now that I know how to put a shield up it just makes me mad and I put one up. (one that fills the room) It gets pushed out and doesn't come back for a few days. Then, we start all over again. I keep trying to actually look at it...but darn it! It cheats! stare
Anyways, curious as to thoughts. xp

Not anymore....it's just annoying now. At first it did, not the shield sends it off and I don't worry. Why?

How often does this thing appear? Does it have any noticeable eyes? Before you used your sheild how long would it stalk you for?

It appears every few days....say once every two to three. Eyes? No...though, when it grows, it's got points of red in it as it 'mutates.' (not sure if that's the right word.... xp ) It will stalk me as long as I try to look at it or leave it in the room, BUT it won't follow me out of my room. (Before I learned shields....wooo....It'd be around for hours and it would take up quite a bit of my ceiling. Very scary) As far as I can tell....it likes it here in my room, but it doesn't seem very friendly.

Hmm... I'm not certain, but you could have a shadow person following you. *blinks* But, I would definatly reccomend doing some research on your own to find out what it is. *nods* Mostly because I could never be certain unless I saw it.
Er... not much is known about shadow people. All I can say really is that from what I have read they simply terrify people.

Maybe that's what it likes--fear/terror. And....maybe that's why it's not around....I'm not afraid anymore. It's been...well....this will be the fourth night without it if it doesn't show. (It's usually comes around every 2-3 days.) Of course it could just be uber pissed at me for blabbing about it. sweatdrop

From what I've heard (though I have no sources for reference) they like to scare people. sweatdrop So if you're not scared of it maybe it will stop coming back. Hopefully. They seem to be able to get pretty nasty, so keep your guard up, 'kay?
