People prefer different fanfictios, others have some they just plain stay away from. I, for example, like a story with substence and an accual plot. Also Mpreg, or a wiered jutsu kinds of SasuNaru stories are my favorites.
I don't really like one shots, because they are more like a chapter of a better story.
I WILL responed if you post so be prepared. I may even give a suggestion on a story you may like from your description.

i like the storys where it seems real... >> not where you feel like the person has just thrown together a story but actually put it together with effort and love (for sasunaru)

The best stories take alittle thought, have deatails, and one petpeeve is when the grammer and spelling is from a four year old. Gives me a headache, which is sad cuz that could be a great story other wise. You mean the kind that you could find in a novel sorta, ne. ~Ja

I like the types of fics that have substance and a really good plot. Not just about the super detailed smut ( heart ) but a story that builds their relationship.
and I esecially like those AU fics when Sasuke and Naruto are demons....or something that is magical and medievel. whee
and the more detailed they are...the better twisted

Me too. I never thought I would get bored of smut, ya know but it happened. So I was looking for stories that you know have a little drama or something to have some sort of rhyme or reason. If you like a story of deamons and SasuNaru love as well as deception (and don't mind that it's not totally done) check this out. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2578682/1/Blood_and_RamenAnd this is a vampire story from the same authur. You should check some more stories under her. Smutty yet accually good. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3616296/1/Eternally

It's like an anonymous love story, extremly thought out. Naruto yas to discover who his anonymous love is, while on a mission with everyone on his list. There's a sequal too. But this is a mystery pairing with Naruto, AND has a surprise twist. Yaoi. Trust, it's worth the suspence. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2593985/1/Anonymous_love

I love the stories that can take you on an emotional rollercoaster, where you can actually feel what the characters are feeling.
If I can't find an extremely deep story for the day, I also go for anything that will make me collapse onto the ground, hysterically laughing. And there are a handful of those that I really like.
The story has to be well written, with some sort of plot. I'll suffer through bad grammar if the story is good enough, but most of the time I won't bother.

Well, I can tell you what I dislike in fanfiction: I HATE it when Naruto's protrayed as girly and/or easily submissive. I prefer, if Sasuke has to be seme, Naruto fighting a hell of a lot before submitting. Like, punching, kicking, and biting. But I majorly prefer Naruto as seme, with all the nice violence first so that he can force Sasuke into submission (Because Naruto knows he likes being dominated ;D )
Anyways. I like stories that are well developed, well researched. I like it when authors have a picture of what's going to happen in the end before they have chapter 2 out. I also like oneshots- I write a oneshot collection called Always, but the oneshots are all loosely connected.
I like it when the fic makes sense, and the author gives us a very clear connection between all of the characters, not just Sasuke and Naruto. I can't stand it when fics ignore, for instance, Sakura's importance to Naruto and Sasuke's character development. They'd be two different people without her.
I love a story where you feel for the characters, a story that can make you laugh and cry, sometimes within the same chapter. I know that when I write Smudging Ink with Akiru, whenever I write something funny, I get all warm and fuzzy inside, but when I write something sad, my gut twists up; and when I write a crying scene, chances are I cry too, but I always manage to imitate the faces I imagine the characters to be making.
Just, by the way, since I like to advertise my own crap, you can find my fics on FF.net under Kaliotrimma. I don't fav stories too freely, but you can be sure that what I have faved is pretty good.
;D

This story is mpreg, VERY long, and did accually make me cry at afew chapters. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2922292/1/The_Uchiha_CoupleIf you don't like that then this is shorter and not AS emotional but still does it's job. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2975436/1/Come_Home_With_MeThis is funny, and sad at times with an emotional Sasuke at times. Not girly emo like but ya know. Funny too. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1897834/1/

;D punching, kicking, and biting. Like foreplay? True, I have read some with Sakura in a big part of the story, still as their friend. I know a story, a one shot, the whole thing is Naruto and Sakura talking about ‘stuff’ involving Sasuke. Umm, Naruto isn’t seme, but the story has some of the qualities you like so ya. Naruto ends up being dominant, and it’s a one shot. http://naruto.adultfanfiction.net/story.php?no=600005372
