In the Day:  At Night: No matter the time of day the baths are open, running, and the perfect tempurture. Every one is welcome! There is mixed baths in Rome so Come, sit! Play. Remember- there are plenty of secluded areas of the bath for more intimate conversation or activities. Baskets full of soap, rags, lufahs, (and of course) bath toys are located near every entrance. Bath Time Is Always Better With A Friend.

 Jean stepped into the baths and looked around. "It's oddly empty for this time of day." She thought to herself. She casually picked up a basket that was by the door before she walked around the edge. She found a nice dry place to put her clothes while she was in the bath. "This place will do nicely." She smiled as she started to loosen her surcoat. She pulled the strings slowly as to not let them get accedentally pulled out of a hole- for a surcoat can be destressingly hard to relace. She pulled it off and folded it with care before slipping out of her ruffeled edged shirt. She folded it and placed it on top. She started humming to herself as she unbucked her belt and removed her skirt and stalkings. She innocently minded her own buisness- not noiticing some of the sidelong looks she got from some of the men admireing her now fully exposed hourglass figure. She pinned up her hair with a ribbon.
She then glanced sheepishly around at the tenants of the bath hall and noticed the few women that dotted the edges of the expansive bath hall and suddenly felt self concious of her bust size, which was a comfortable 32 C. She decided to be bold for once and tried to walk proudly to her part of the bath. Her skin was evenly colored and firm. Her stride obviously forced into a prideful gait. She set the basket down beside her on the ledge and steped into the warm water. It took her a moment to adjust to the steam and relax against the wall.
She found a seat carved out of the stone- like a bench that went around the edge of the bath. She sighed a sigh of pleasure and leaned back- letting her self float a tad. " I'm going to relax a bit before I wash." She said allowed. "No one could have heard me." she thought to herself, "Everyone is on the complete other side of the bath."

Jean woke when her body fully relaxed and she sank into the water. She sat up with a jolt-sneezeing and coughing the water out of her nose. She felt her face blush and started to wash her face with water- to try and play her folly off as it where intentional.
'I suppose I could start to wash' She thought to herself. she reached up and pulled the basket down and pulled out a bar of soap and a wash cloth. She carefully lathered the cloth and sat up on the higher ledge so that she could wash. She started at her neck and then across to her delicate shoulders. Down her left arm then her right. She hummed to herself as she did this. A jaunty tune- upbeat and full of life. She then started on her chest-sure to get the skin of her brests clean before moving on to her stomach and hips. She stood on the ledge to wash her buttox and legs. She made sure to clean every area of her body before sitting down in the water to wash off the soap.

Harusaki's nose twitched as she entered the hall, being overwhelmed by an onslaught of scents. Walking over to the warmed waters, a towel around her, she walked into the water, feeling a tingle race up her leg. "It's wonderful..." She sighed. Undoing her towel and folding it, she laid it off to the side, then got in completely, tying her hair up into a topknot with a thong made of deerskin.
She allowed herself to sink into the waters up to her shoulders, resting her head on the edge of the bath. Slowly, she felt her muscles loosen, and she fell into a drowsy state, though she seemed completely familiar with the feeling. Just like the hot springs at home her mind purred, eliciting another sigh from the girl. She was very comfortable, though she was used to the water being warmer.

Jean noticed the wolf eared girl get into the water righe before getting soap in here eyes. She winced at the sting of the soap, "Oh!" she exclaimed and cleared the wash cloth of soap before wiping her eye. When she finished Jean noticed that the girl now had her head rested against the edge of the bath.
Jean felt lonly, but too shy to talk to any of the boys, 'Maybe she would enjoy a friend!' she thought to herself as she stood and made her way to the girl, "Hallò." She greeted the girl, "Ciamar a tha thu?" Jean sighed when she realised she forgot to speak in english. "Hello, how are you?"

The girl's eyes cracked open at the odd language, but she smiled at the translation. "I'm well. Who are you?" She asked, her words slightly hindered by her Japanese accent. "Oh, gomen nasai... How are you?"

Jean smiled as she sat down next to the girl, "I'm well." She repositioned her hair so that it was behind her, "I forget that I'm not at home any more and blurt out in Gaelic. But, " she blushed a little, "You don't seem to be native here either- judgeing on your accent. Am I right?"

"Hai, you're right, I'm originally from Japan... I don't mind slipping up though.. Umm.... Are you from Eire?" She tried what little Gaelic she knew to form a bridge over the gap between them.

"Tha." Jean nodded, "Though I haven't been on my island in many years now." I leaned my head back, "I try to speak the language that those around me speak- It makes people uncomfortable to be around an Irish person for some reason." Jean laughed and looked over at the girl, "Maybe they think that we are all leprechauns?"
Jean turned toward the girl, "Most call me Jean- what do they call you?"

"Depends on whom I am speaking with at the time. I have many different names and titles, but you can call me Haru." She smiled and tilted her head slightly, her ears twitching cutely. The dog-girl then dropped lower into the water, rolling her shoulders. "I'm so tense... I was hoping these would relax me, but I guess I'll have to fight after all..." At the other woman's mildly horrified expression, she quickly explained. "I've been fighting all my life. I ran away from my home with my Dad's consent, for political reasons, and I was trained by a pack of panther demons. I hunt and slay for a living, which means my body being constantly exerted. Because I'm here, I haven't been able to loosen up, and therefore, I've become stiff and unpractised. I need to fight someone in order to stay in shape."

Jean nodded, "I understand." Jean tilted her head back in thought, "The baths offer alot in survices. There should be a place where people can spar," She looked at Haru, " Have you thought that maybe a massage would help with the stiffness?"

Jean sloshed over to her basket and pulled out a map and returned to where Haru sat and rejoined her by her side. She folded out the map and held it so that Haru could see. "This room over here is where free-sparring can be held. That's free. In the room to the north of that you can rent weapons and they will rate each combatant." Jean looked over the map and pointed out another room, "Here is where massages and other relaxation techniques can be had." Jean blushed a little, "Even if you don't need a massage- it's worth it too see the masuses!! They are quite a handsome lot they are!"
Jean smiled, "I've got a day pass so everything is free for me and a guest at the baths today. We can do anything that we want! If you want to that is."

as they were talking, a young man came into the room. by the way he is glistening with sweat and some battle scars, it looks like he just came back from the sparing ring.
"Ahh. i love the onsen (Japanese word for pub. bath)." said Matt, walking over to the showers he quickly rinsed himself off. seeing that some of the ladies were watching him he felt a lil embarrassed, and quickly got into the waters.

Jean looked over at the man that had stepped into the water and blushed, "The men here are usually very worth the trip." she giggled.

Grinning at the man, Haru waved him over, calling out in just a loud enough voice to echo around the room. "Konban-wa, Matt-kun!" She beckoned him over, smiling, hidden enough by the waters not to be self-conscious. "Come, onegai, the more the merrier!" She turned back to the map and grinned at the Dojo. "I need to go into here later, my Dog needs a workout," she said thoughtfully, her ears twitching, something feral glinting behind her eyes momentarily. "And then maybe those masseuses you were speaking of earlier?" She grinned at Jean, tapping the two rooms with her claw tips.
