okay, here's a puzzler for you guys:
let's say you get a hacked Charizard (for the sake of argument) and breed it with a Ditto.
would you consider that baby Charmander a hacked Pokemon? it wasn't obtainable to you until you had a hacked Charizard.
what if you made that new Charmander have a baby. Would that new one be any less of a hack?
discuss: getting hacks and breeding them to make legit

I would say any Charmander bred from a hacked Charizard would be considered legit. You're technically not hacking the Charmander. Good point you got there, Neo.

It's semi legit I guess. Since it's mama/papa is a hacked pokemon. It might get hacked egg moves by accident, or quite possibly all straight 7's in stats.

Fera_Nai Yeah, becuase you wouldn't have gotten it without the charizard. But what about the baby of the first baby? That would be even more legit than the first baby. Because the first baby was legit, so as long as you bred it with another legit Pokemon, I would say it's pretty legit.

What about the cloning glitch? Would you consider a clone of a Pokemon or an item that was legit, legit? I would.

I'd consider it a hacked Pokemon. It was gotten through a glitch, not legitimately.

You've just made a legalized break-through, if such occurrence happens. I don't think the first baby would get the hacked moves from one of the parents, because the parent wouldn't normally be able to learn that move anyway (unless you hack an egg move). If somehow that was possible, though, then I'd say it's not legit because it shouldn't be able to learn that.

It would be Legit In the Since that You had Not Obtained it By Your own means, But In another Since The Standards in which you got it were not Of legitimacy. So It's Partly Both If you think about it.

I dont consider a cloned pokemon to be hacked cuz its really just a copy from a legit pokemon. I consider hacked pokemon to have wonder guard as their ability or higher stats than their legit counterparts or hacked moves.
