Very recently, four days ago to be exact, a friend of mine took ill and I volunteered to take over his character, the Mad Hatter. This is the reason that I have been away for so long, as I have been very busy with my now three Disney jobs, Jungle Cruise, Ratcliffe, and the Mad Hatter. I only get fifteen to thirty minute breaks throughout the day and during the night I am busy practicing my act as I am hoping that if I work hard enough and prove myself that I will be allowed to keep the Hatter, as my friend hates being a character and I love the Hatter. In fact, this is this also the reason that I have created a few Wonderland roleplays, one of which is here, in order to practice my skills as the Mad Hatter. Due to my new job I have also found my self with a new obsession with the Hatter and the relationship between him and Alice (the park-character versions only, not the books or cartoon.) I spent a good amount of my time reading up on them, watching videos, and doing just about everything else I can that has to do with them to improve my act and satisfy my obssession. One of these many things is, for the first time in my three years on Gaia, to work on my profile, which I had actually forgotten even existed. If you doubt my current obsession or are simply curious, then check out my profile below.

I added a journal to my profile that, if I have the time, will be updated daily. I am hoping to use the journal to detail my days working at Disney World, so feel free to come by and see what ridiculous trouble I get myself in to.
Why, thank you, Sir Kent, though I know what you mean. My profile has been looking rather shabby for a while. Recently, I decided I wanted to make it more personal and the idea for a Hatter/Alice profile just struck me as very unique. I work in Magic Kingdom, but my exact location as the Hatter changes during the day. I spend most of my time in Fantasyland, primarily around the "Mad Tea Party," which I tend to ride a couple times a day as the guests seem to love when Alice and I ride with them, but I do walk around the entire park a few times a day. (And trust me, riding the the tea cups more than once can get to you after a while.)
Thank you, Lady Dearest, I am glad that you like it. By "LJ" do you mean LiveJournal, my dear?

I know what the tea cubs can do. i went as fast as I think the ride will allow, and lets just say that was our fifth ride, and we had a whole plan for the day, but I kind of ruined our day when I threw up afterwards.

I can understand that. While never having gotten that sick (yet) I have seen more people that I could count realizing that the tea cups is actually a rough ride afterwards and I have shared in the enternal amusedment of cleaning up their realization more than once. Heh.

Acctually, I think it is partly is the process of my body changing as I become a teen, since, well, I rose the ride just as fast when I was 10, and I didn't feel the least bit bad afterwards. Acctuaklly, i rode that three times when I was 10, which, by the way, was the first of the three trops I have done to Disney, and I never felt sick.
They should make a Disney up here in Canada.

Oh, I thought as much. What was the name of the community? As for images of myself, I shall try my best, but I never haved figured out how to upload images and videos to the internet. Give me a few days and as soon as Jimmy (the former Mad Hatter) returns I will get him to help me upload a few, as he knows a bit more about all of that. And to you, Sir Kent, I personally believe they should put a Disney Park everywhere. Heh.

Ya, but the first one should be up here in Canada, maybe somewhere near the southern portions, for I would HATE to see Canada to lose it's wild and untamed norths where wolves still roam free.

I do not know if anyone of you would be interested, but you might enjoy some of the park videos in my playlist, all of which are filmed by a friend of mine, Brianna, who works in Disneyland. I put the top thirty in my playlist and I tend to watch them a great deal to help me with my act. (Playlist - It keeps a bit lame around 27, but the first two pages are really quite funny and, Sir Kent, all of the Parade of Dream Show Stops have an altered version of "Welcome" from Brother Bear 2.)

No, it is actually quite comfortable. Click on the link to my journal in my signature and you can see a lot of images and clips of the costume I wear a lot.
