Summary:
Clarise was a normal young woman who really had nothing to live for, her family had all passed on, her friends were few and far between and she hadn't seen any of them in years and she was between jobs. All of this changed however with a simple wrong turn, a tunnel that was marked one way sent her through a strange portal to another world altogether.
The first thing she saw was a barren field and nightmarish creatures coming towards her, she was saved only barely by a group dressed in strangely military uniforms and gas masks. It is at this time she realizes that she wasn't on the world she had been born but someplace almost alien. Here the human race was a dying breed and creatures known as Corbis ruled the landscape, and what's worse is that the only way back to her world is through a portal in the very center of Corbis Territory.
Clarise is on the journey of a lifetime, finding herself in a situation that will change everything, the question is will she survive the experience?

Characters:
Clarise- from Earth, your average girl really, tall, average build, light brown hair and gray eyes, pretty but no super model. Relatively sweet disposition though stubborn with certain subjects. Stronger than she believes even herself to be.
Mathin- Leader of the Elcar Clan, Tall and slender, messy ash colored hair and chocolate brown eyes, handsome and boyish with a mischievious curiousity that can be quite endearing.
Peter- Experienced warrior of Elcar Clan, Tall and lean, ink black hair and deep blue eyes, sculpted features, handsome and mature with a quiet sense of duty, surprisingly gentle despite his war experience.
Corbis- Creatures that used to be human but have become infected and are highly carnivorous to the point of cannibalism, pale chalky skin and black prominant veins along the body, dead white eyes and claws.
