Matias strolled up to Jess' house in a sour mood. His nose was tender from when the b*****d red head had decked him before kicking his feet out from under him. Not only that, Jess wasn't answering her phone for some reason, and now he was having to come out to her place to try to patch things up. That Shaidey kid was so going to pay, he thought as he ran his fingers through his hair and reached out to knock on her door.
Kayne was stretched behind Jess on the sofa she had bought, his arms wrapped comfortably around her. Some movie was flashing on her tv screen, but he wasn't paying much attention, since he had started to doze. When the knock sounded, he stirred and opened his eyes, looking over to the door. Stretching, he ran a hand over Jess' hair and smiled.
"Someone's at the door," he murmured, releasing his hold on her to let her get up.

Jess was having a very lazy day indeed. She had called in sick so she and kayne could spend the day together doing ... well, not much really. Of course she was going to have to move and cook eventually. But that could wait for now.
She was just drifting off when the knock came at the door. Moaning at having to move she stood and stretched, the tank top she was wearing rising to reveal her middle over her pj shorts as she did.
Running her fingers through her hair she walked over to the door and pulled it open. Blinking at the man on the other side she frowned and folded her arms.
"What do you want?" she said angrily.

Mati looked up as the door opened and flinched a little at the anger he heard in Jess' voice. Oh well, he thought. That was the price you paid when you went looking for a bit of passion. Besides, it usually made things that much more interesting later, he thought with an inward smirk.
"Jess, please don't be angry with me. You weren't at work and I've been trying to call you," he said, stepping forward and reaching out his hand to her. "I'm sorry about dinner last night. Some things came up at school and I couldn't call you till it was much too late."

Jess smirked as he lied to her and pulled her hand away so that she could fold her arms.
"I waited for you for an hour. I wasted good money on a bloody expensive dress and felt humiliated sat there on my own." She said, she thought she would play with him a bit before telling him to go ******** himself.
"What things came up?" She asked, keeping her eyes glaring into his. "You're hardly a work a holic."

"Jessica," he said softly, moving a little closer with a small smile. "I truly am sorry amor. A fight broke out in the locker room right as I was trying to leave. I had to stay and take care of it. I got a little knocked around myself," he said pointing to his tender nose. "I truly did not mean to leave you waiting. I would never do that to you amor," he said, reachiing up to tuck some of her hair behind her ear.
Kayne was fully awake now and sitting up with a frown. That b*****d thought that he had the right to come here and try to smooth talk his way back into Jess' bed after all the things he said. Clenching his hands tightly, he took a deep breath as he continued to listen to see what Jess would do.

Jess narrowed her eyes at him and placed her hand on his chest to push him back away from her.
"Don't touch me." She said with a dark frown. "I know what the fight was about and I know what you said about me." She folded her arms and took a deep breath. "Whatever I am or am not that gives you know right to degrade me infront of your students. And Village bike, please. It's better than being the city bike." She said, raising her eyebrow at him. Lame comeback but true.

Mati blinked as he was pushed back, then archced his brow at her words. ********. How had she found out about that? Blinking out of his slight surprise, he held his arms open to her and gave her an innocent look.
"Jessica, why would you say such things? I would never do that. Some of the boys were getting a little out of hand and some of their tempers got rubbed the wrong way," he said. "Come on amor, I would never hurt you like that."

Jess swallowed in disbelief. They lying s**t head.
"Don't you dare lie to me you a**. Tom cat? Few notches on my belt? Not things half the bloody student population need to know. Which I am sure they do by now. This may come as a suprise but I like to keep my private life private."
She breathed in through her nose and looked back into the house for a moment.
"And don't deny it. Shaidey told me everything. I actually thought you were different."

Kayne could hear her stress levels start to rise and he rose to his feet. He reckoned it was seriously time for him to go, he thought with a stretch. Walking over to the door, he leaned his hand against the doorframe and glared at the b*****d.
Mati frowned and his frown deepened as the red head appeared behind her. Arching his brow slightly he looked between the two, then smirked cruelly.
"Just your sensei? Damn Jess. I knew you were kinky, but that's a line I haven't even crossed," he smirked.

Jess rolled her eyes and turned to give Kayne a 'look' he really wasn't helping. Allowing her own smirk to cross her lips she turned back to Mati and sighed.
"God Matias, he's just a friend." She said, giving him a slightly disgusted look. "He came over to cheer me up because some b*****d decided to treat me like s**t." She lied expertly. It wasn't that she was still ashamed of their relationship. She just really did not need to be at the bottom of a rumor pile before she had started.
"I know I might have shown you different but I honestly don't jump into bed with every male I lay eyes on."

Mati smirked and rolled his eyes a little.
"Whatever you say Jess. You can keep telling yourself you're not a slut, but when the shoe fits you're the first one to slide it on," he smirked and stepped back as Kayne started to straighten up.
"I'm thinking you're wanting a black eye to go with that busted nose of yours Cevallo. You're done here," Kayne growled as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Jess smirked and rolled her eyes.
"Oh, right I'm so hurt by your opinion. It must be depressing knowing a twenty two year old is a better shag than you." She said, taking hold of the door and slamming it in his face.
"What an a*****e." She muttered, walking back to sofa and flopping down onto it. "Seriously, what the ******** was I thinking. I'm not going to be able to set foot on campus again."

Kayne followed after her and sat down beside her.
"I hate to break the news to you love, but if he's talking about you to his students, then he's already been talking about you to his coworkers," he said, reaching out to pull her into his arms. "But you just have to stick it out. Something else will come up eventually that will take everyone's attention away from you. And at least now, if he tries to spread our relationship around, no one can do anything about it really. I'm not a minor anymore."

"Ugh, don't make me sound so seedy." She said, closing her eyes and leaning against him. Though he was right, what was he going to do? She wasn't even his teacher anymore so that did not matter either.
"You are right though." She smiled, placing a kiss on his neck. "There's no reason for us not to be together.. No reason at all."
